Guest Reviews
- Cesur Koymat (10/5): -
- Morita (7/5): - The receptionist was very kind and made me feel at ease It was when I turned on the tap to have a shower this morning and no water came out. A few hours later, it was working properly again.
- Randy (9/5): Comfortable stay in a less busy neighborhood - Staff was very helpful and the location and room worked well for us. The twin beds were surprisingly comfortable Minor nits, no significant complaints
Personnel bienveillant. Chambre tout confort. Je recommande !
- Giulia (9/5): piacevole - personale lla reception molto accogliente, disponibile e gentile
camera piccola ma ben attrezzata e pulita
- Adrian (10/5): -
- Kirsty (10/5): Great hotel on the outskirts of Rome. - Great little hotel on the outskirts of Rome. We stayed for one night while passing through. We walked into Rome but there is a bus stop outside the hotel if you prefer. There is easy parking outside hotel. The staff were lovely and friendly and very helpful with restaurant recommendations etc. Great value and would definitely stay again when in Rome.
- Zeynep (9/5): - otele giriş yaparken bizimle ilgilenen hanımefendi dünya tatlısı bir kadındı. bize şehir hakkında çok güzel bilgiler verdi, önerilerde bulundu ve bize kahve ikram etti. hatta ben hasta olduğum için bana çay bile getirdi. odamız ise yeterli büyüklükteydi, banyo ve odanın geri, kalanı temizdi. konum olarak roma merkeze uzaktı fakat vatikan şehrine epey yakındı. genel olarak konum haricinde negatif söyleyebileceğim hiçbir şey yok.
- Halima (8/5): Excellent stay the metro is near and its much better if you have a car - The staff and how modern the room was The location its far from most famous stuff
- Moulaysultan (6/5): Très bon séjour - Très belle acceuil, chaleureux, explication et information visite de Rome. Lieux très bien pour les jeune
- Caroli (10/5): - Le Recepzioniste gentili, molto accoglienti, simpatiche e molto preparate.
- Monika (5/5): - Pokoje czyste, parking bezpłatny Lokalizacja marna, rano zimna woda pod prysznicem, apartament nie warty tych pieniędzy
Zmiana ręczników codziennie i codzienne sprzątanie
- Kim (10/5): Thank you for saving the day and getting us tickets to see the colosseum! - Staff very helpful, clean and great location, parking for our big car!

- Katherine (10/5): The staff are delightful. Good value for money. - Outstanding staff who are a delight. Lots of great tips, ideas. No hard sell on extras like tours. However the tour they suggested we booked to the Colleseum was amazing! Room was spotless, quiet and the 495 bus is at your doorstep. Easy bus ride to the Vatican or a few stop on to connect to the metro. The office has bus tickets you can purchase to get you started. Good local food options. Golden Italy is 650m walk and served huge tasty pasta dishes and tasty suppli. Shared kitchen was adequate for simple meals etc. Nothing we can think of.

- Nepharidze (10/5): -
- Sayed (9/5): -
- Teesdale (10/5): Exceptional -
- Baris (9/5): Great place to stay if you are traveling to Rome by car - Great place to stay if you are traveling to Rome by car, there is a bus stop right next to it that can take you into the city
- Monixa76 (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is impeccable. From the bedding which was spotlessly clean, the towels too. The room is cleaned daily. In the bathroom there are quality products. Sam the host was very professional. It helped us a lot what whatever we needed. The good area, close to the objectives -
- Aldi (10/5): Nice quiet place - They helped us to find a last minute reservation, and a really late check in...!!! This meant a big deal to me and my family! The lady, (Miriam) who made the explanation video on how to find easy the room and access it deserve the top marks for customer service, and I regret that i couldn't meet her face to face to thank her. Than it was Sam, who was great guy helping us with the best info ever. Since it was my wife's birthday, Sam offered us a bottle of prosecco to celebrate. So, great location if you drive your own or rental with a free parking, but even if you use public transportation you have great access buses and Metro. Quiet place for sleep, nice clean air compared to Rome Center, a nice 26 min drive from Fiumicino Airport. Great Value for Money...! Well, the bathroom could be a bit larger, maybe. Other than that great value for what you pay for.
- Ibrahim (7/5): Good -
- Dayrohg (9/5): Superb - staff were super friendly and helpful
the rooms are modern and comfortable
nice kitchen facilities on every floor a bit away from the nearest shops and restaurants but there's good connection with the transport system
- Hussein (10/5): Exceptional - very friendly personal and nice place not so fare from the center of Rome.
big thumbs up 👍
- Joelle (10/5): Exceptional - I love our host we don’t remember her name but she was awesome we will recommend to anyone based on her ❤️
- Andrew (8/5): A very good value for money stay in one of the world's greatest cities. - I've stayed in many places all over the world and I have never encountered staff like this before. They were absolutely wonderful from start to finish and my daughter and I were made to feel very welcome. There are many proprietors who could learn a lot from the staff at the Bricks about how to welcome guests, and provide advice and assistance before arrival and throughout the stay. The room was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of storage space for clothes and bags. The whole building has been very tastefully renovated. The self catering element was fun. There is a major supermarket situated close to Valle Aurelia Metro station (10 minute walk) where you can get everything you need. All in all a very comfortable stay with airport transfers all taken care of in a wonderfully efficient manner. The location is a problem for me. There's not much the property can do about this of course. The 10-15 minute walk to the Valle Aurelia Metro station is not pleasant and the quality of the path is poor. Part of it was not lit up at night. There are some extensive roadworks underway, and maybe things will be improved when these are completed. Taxis are very cheap in Rome, so this could be an option to avoid the walk to the Metro. The bathroom was a bit on the small side and lacked space for toiletries. A towel rail was a notable absentee, and would be a useful addition.
- Marina (7/5): Good - It was clean and quiet. Location - it’s pretty far from everything.
Absence of elevator.
- Betty (9/5): Superb - The room and the bathroom are clean. There is a common kitchen where one can Cook or store food. I would recommend for shorter stays. The buses to the apartment are not regular especially in the evening.
- Milana (10/5): Great location, quiet area - The administrator offered us a room that better fits our requirements. Thank you!
- Urszula (6/5): Pleasant - The location is on the one side good on the other is a huge problem, we needed a taxi in the night because the bus doesn’t operate. In the morning nice, green view from the terrace.
- Payam (5/5): Passable - People working there are nice and place is clean It is too noisy so if you want wake up soon at the morning you can pick this place
- Jaime (10/5): I’ll come back - Its staff Nothing
- Razan (7/5): Good - The staff was very helpful It is far from the center
It is far from shops and restaurants, you will always need to take a public transportation to get there and when it is closed you will need a taxi/uber to get there and it will cost you
- Nashed (9/5): Superb - The staff were very friendly and helpful.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne (9/5): I would stay here again. - Easy walking distance to the Metro. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The laundry detergent used to clean the sheets was a bit strong.
Someone sensitive to strong smells might not like the heavy smell of detergent.
- Mmathapelo (6/5): Pleasant - Cleanliness and friendly staff that were really helpful The room was really small the location is a bit far from the tourist attractions.
- Elliot (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jelena (10/5): Clean, comfortable and near the city centre. Great value for money. - The room and the bathroom were small but very clean and the beds were really comfortable. There was a shared kitchen and an extra toilet on our floor which came in really handy. There's a nice homey feel at the hotel, and the highlight was the receptionist who was super accommodating, kind and friendly. She gave us all the information, took as much time as needed, and made us feel at home. The hotel is located outside the center of the city but there's a bus stop right next to the hotel.
- Maria (7/5): Good -
- Quan (9/5): Superb - Location and parking There are a lot of mosquitoes
- Rima (10/5): A wonderful experience! - The staff was AMAZING! So helpful & knowledgeable. They really took the time to go through everything you needed to know. The fact the property had a shared kitchen on each floor made life so much easier for us! It was clean and had everything you needed. Definitely recommend a stay here. Nothing!
- Bogdan (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (6/5): Pleasant - The staff is very nice and provided a lot of useful information so that we can plan our trip easier and cheaper.
I like to have a coffee vending machine in the common area . I can enjoy a cup of coffee every morning.
Air conditioner is well-performed.
Bus stop is nearby and you can walk few minutes to have a shopping center. There are many ants in the room and the cleanliness should be improved.
- Leslie (10/5): Exceptional - The location is good near to metro, shops,
- Rebeca (9/5): Superb - Staff wonderful, everything was within walking distance and a thanks especially to
Fabrizia who helped Us from the beginning until the end, we will for sure come back.
- Joel (8/5): Very good -
- Vladimirs (7/5): Good -
- Shalev (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is extremely friendly, responsive and helpful. They gave us great insights, directed us efficiently to anything we needed, recommended food, transportation, attractions and always on the money. When in Rome - I'll stay at the Bricks!
- Stamalgo (8/5): Very nice stay with family and small dog in very beautiful but also very dirty city of Rome - Close to the wild park - good for a short walk with the dog. Close to the metro station. Close to shopping center and supermarket. very helpful hotel staff explains all the possibilities of getting around the city. You can come with the dog but the dog can not stay in your room alone - you are supposed to take the dog with you every time - it is a quite a difficulty sometimes. It is very dirty in the neighbourhood as well as in the whole city of Rome.
- Khadija (8/5): Very good - Thanks to Enrique (hotel receptionist), he has given full information about the city, how to reach the most important spots and in general he was very helpful at everything!
The hotel is in a very safe area, clean and cosy, you can buy food in the market which is not far and cook yourself.
- Sandy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Melissa (10/5): Fantastic accommodations! - Clean, comfortable —
- Timothy (9/5): Superb -
- Jhoni35 (2/5): Very poor - The hotel is not well maintained we had a water flood in the room we were moved to another room but then there was no electricity the day we left and we had to organize ourselves as we left in total darkness. A real disappointment!!!
- Linda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lesley (10/5): Bright, clean, comfortable, convenient! - We had to leave our Airbnb suddenly because of roaches and picked The Bricks quite randomly and in a moment of panic. The room was such a relief! Super clean, bright, and comfortable. Super convenient location with a bus stop just steps away. Exceptionally helpful staff who then set us up in an apartment for the rest of our stay in Rome. I can't recommend enough!
- Emaan (5/5): Passable -
- Tajrin (8/5): Very good - The best staff, they were so informative when we checked in.
Room was clean, basic and comfortable. vending machines in lobby were useful While the property is accessible by public transit to city centre, if you come back late to the room then uber/taxi can be very expensive because it’s outside the city centre.
- Elizabeth (7/5): Lovely - I enjoyed the location. The staff was so helpful and knowledgeable. No toiletries, limited towels, the water pressure in the shower was weak and took a while for the water to turn water.
- Shkodran (9/5): Superb -
- Jelena (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - Great value for money! The supermarket and the mall are very handy.
- Alex (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice stay!
- Alexandru (10/5): Exceptional - Great staff, very very friendly and nice.
- Jann (9/5): Superb -
- Oragvelidze (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anonymous (10/5): Best place in Rome to stay! - Literally everything. excellent service extremely clean, ideal location for checking out the main locations, shared kitchens balcony, the cleaning service incredible the front desk incredible. I would come again easily Giada is the best- very professional and kindhearted. Fair price! the surrounding area is not the best.
- Morgan (10/5): Clean, spacious room in a quiet neighbourhood with good transport links! Great staff also! - The staff were fantastic! Very welcoming and provided loads of details on what to do in the city and how to access different areas by public transport. The rooms were clean and spacious with a lovely balcony space and communal patio area! N/A
- Td2904 (5/5): Good for passing through the area and need one night - •Proximity to the vatican
•The staff was very nice; especially Emi and Giada
•I was given a map of the area and information on the bus routes The room and bathroom were not clean. The floors were filthy, there was no coffee machine in the room, no water to drink, no breakfast available, the actual buildings are very old and the maintenance people don't do a good job with the place's upkeep. It is located in a neighborhood full of dogs that bark almost nonstop. There are no good options for food in that area. The photos online have been edited with filters.
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional -
- Marina (10/5): Exceptional - The Bricks Rome is such a great place to stay, situated very near to the Vatican. The host Giada and other staff are so welcoming and helpful with everything we needed. The room was very clean and comfortable, with very cute colorful balcony. We stayed one night, but we will back again for sure. I highly recommend it! :)
- Mathews (10/5): Clean, modern and very helpful staff - Very friendly staff, lovely rooms. Great terrace both by the rooms and on the roof.
Kitchen was great and lots of storage and there is a shopping centre a ten min walk away.
Also drinks available in the hotel at reasonable price (3/4 euro a beer I think)
Rooms were modern and bathrooms were clean. Fresh towels everyday. We traveled as a large group so having the extra bathroom in the hallway was very handy. The location and getting into the more touristy parts of Rome is a bit frustrating. The staff were helpful in showing us the quickest way in with buses/metro. We ended up using taxis alot, however they are hard to get a hold of (a Rome problem not this hotel).
- Célia (8/5): Great holidays in Rome. - The owner is very nice. She is helpful, she gived tips and advice for sightseeing.
The room was clean, the beds comfortable. The access (there were a strike, we couldn’t take the metro). We can take the bus, but the time to wait is long.
- Sarah (8/5): Very good -
- Robert (10/5): Exceptional - Our stay greatly exceeded expectations. A lovely room and splendid welcome. Excellent value for money all round.
- Idris (10/5): perfect service ⭐️❤️ - It was very clean, quiet place, free parking, friendly staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- Guðrún (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect location to explore Rome. Short distance to metro station and Vatican city within walking distance - but still peaceful and quiet, so you feel like you are out in the countryside. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. This will definitely be our first choice if ever in Rome again.
- Matej (9/5): Superb - Nice and cozy, great equipment in kitchen.
- Frank (9/5): the staff were amazing. felt like familily - the staff
- Marco (7/5): Good - Staff and commodities The bed was very old and uncomfortable
