• Kareem (2/5): A basement. Save your money and book a hotel. - This property was a huge disappointment and not as described. We were placed in a basement unit despite booking what was advertised as a “premier house.” It’s not suitable for six guests. we were only five and still found it inadequate. Basic essentials were lacking: just two rolls of toilet paper for six days (the host was arguing with us that there was more even though we have picture proof there was two), towels smelled of mildew, and not enough sheets for the beds we requested. Amenities like laundry and ironing were shared with the upstairs unit, which was a disaster. We never got to use the washer / dryer bc it was occupied the entire time during our stay. Noise from upstairs began as early as 7 a.m., and even after asking them to be quieter, it continued. The property feels neglected and is currently for sale, with no urgency to make it comfortable. The host was responsive but often rude. While we were granted a partial refund and allowed to cancel after a few days, the conditions were unlivable for the full week. What’s worse, we raised concerns after reading a negative review written just a week before our stay. The host dismissed it as inaccurate, claiming the guest was upset about a refund. That was false our experience was identical to theirs. The photos do not reflect the actual basement unit. Overall, the stay was misleading, uncomfortable, and not worth the money. We would never stay here again and cannot recommend this property.
• Samer (2/5): - This was one of the worst stays we’ve ever had. The listing was completely misleading. We booked the property for six nights believing we were renting a full house, based on the photos and description provided. However, upon arrival, we were shocked to discover that we had been placed in a basement unit, which was never disclosed prior to booking. This was not just inconvenient — it was a serious issue. My mother has a leg injury and cannot safely use stairs, and there was no mention in the listing that the unit was only accessible by stairs. We immediately contacted the host and requested a refund so we could find a more suitable accommodation, but he ignored all of our messages and did not respond to Expedia’s attempts to reach him either. On top of that, the laundry room is shared between the basement unit and the upstairs guests, which was also not disclosed in the listing. Because of this, we unknowingly left the laundry area unlocked, thinking it was part of our private space — only to find other guests coming in and out. We booked for six people, and the space was far too small to accommodate us comfortably. The rooms were cramped, there were no extra blankets, and because the host was unresponsive, we had no way to request additional items. This host was dishonest, unprofessional, and completely unresponsive. The property was falsely advertised, and our experience was frustrating and stressful. I do not recommend this place to anyone — we will never return. Again
