Icara e Lorenzo sono stati fantastici e abbiamo trascorso molto tempo anche con gli altri ospiti della casa! Fare yoga una settimana di fila è stato bellissimo, e pur essendo la prima volta, è stato facilissimo prenderci gusto. Non è stato solo un semplice alloggio per le vacanze ma è stato come sentirsi in famiglia, condividendo esperienze e momenti unici. Per quanto riguarda la manutenzione della casa, pur essendoci state delle tempeste importanti in questi mesi, si trova in uno stato veramente notevole. Empezando por Firgas, que es un pueblo precioso con una fuente espectacular y restaurantes donde se vive la auténtica esencia canaria. Pero lo mejor fue la casa: una vivienda típica de 1800 que conserva todo su encanto, realzado por el respeto y la devoción que le pone su anfitriona. No esperaba que Icara fuera tan atenta, empática y dispuesta a ayudar en todo momento. La casa tiene solera, un sello personal único y una atmósfera muy acogedora; incluso hicimos amistad con otros huéspedes compartiendo barbacoas y charlas inolvidables. Además, sus mascotas te hacen sentir como parte de la familia. En resumen, fue un regalo. ¡Muy agradecido, repetiré seguro!" Nada

Icara she is amazing and made sure I get to meet other travelers and I am not going to stay alone - and instead of 3 days of solo travelling I spent amazing time with other guests (Chiara and Manu), travelling the whole island. We had dinner every night together and enjoyed time together, and also with the wonderful pets of Icara. Icara cooks amazing and we tried some nice Italian lasagna she cooked. The house is very nice and has an amazing view from the upstairs terrace. And not to forget about the Yoga we had the chance to try every morning (!). She never missed a class during my stay. It was so nice and I really learnt new things. I had a truly wonderful experience, with some personal lessons I took for myself and I am very grateful for that.

I had higher expectations in terms of comfort by the other reviews. The room we got was very very humid, the bed very uncomfortable. Maybe we weren't the right kind of guests. :)
• Deepak (10/5): A truly special stay—stunning views, heartfelt hospitality, and a peaceful, home-away-from-home atmo - Excellent place with stunning views, beautifully maintained by a gracious and generous host. It’s very close to the train station—I had some issues with my car rental, so I was delighted to learn it’s only about 100 meters from the bus stop, yet still incredibly quiet. Since I had large luggage and no car, the host kindly picked me up and dropped me off, even for that short distance. Thank you for that thoughtful gesture! The host also makes a special effort to help guests connect with each other (morning yoga, dinners, etc), while still respecting everyone’s need for privacy. The pets are wonderful—it’s such a joy to wake up, see them, take in the views, and prepare breakfast in the charming cave kitchen. Overall, it’s a very warm and generous place—I truly felt at home.

• David (10/5): Magical Homestay With Yoga Vibes - Our stay at Acoran Family Homestay was absolutely fantastic. We loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere this cozy hostel offers to travelers. Iccara is a wonderful host, full of energy, kindness, and always eager to help everyone make the most of their time on the island. The morning yoga sessions were one of the highlights of our stay, a perfect way to start the day and do something great for body and mind. I truly felt part of a family here: we often cooked and shared dinner together with Iccara and other travelers who wanted to join in. We even enjoyed a fun rooftop BBQ under the stars! I couldn’t be happier with our choice. We had magical moments, beautiful connections, and the chance to make new friends that made this experience unforgettable. If you like hiking, I would also highly recommend the beautiful “Barranco de Azuaje” trail, which starts directly from Firgas. This isn’t a luxury stay, and that’s part of its charm. The accommodation focuses more on atmosphere, yoga and community than on 5‑star‑hotel comfort. If you’re looking for a genuine local experience, with shared moments and friendly vibes, I’d personally recommend staying at least 2 or 3 nights to really enjoy it.
• Willem (9/5): - The location and view are amazing. It's easy to get to by public transport and there are beautiful hiking trails that start just 5 minutes from the guesthouse. The hostess is very welcoming, and her yoga classes are a great way to start the day. I loved having her very sweet dog and cats around, and appreciated the free coffee and tea, and the kitchen filled with cooking oils, spices, and cooking utensils. There are many bus lines just minutes from the guesthouse. A trip to Las Palmas takes just 50 minutes for instance.

Ubytování není úplně pro vysoké jedince, celkem nízké stropy, dveře, kuchyňka v jeskyni atraktivní, ale vždy pozor na hlavu. Pokojík maličký, na naše 2 noci postačující.

Le lit est abominable, avec ses ressorts qui grincent et rentrent dans le dos. Nous n'avons pas eu de chance ,il a très fortement plu la nuit. Il y avait de l'eau partout (, un déluge d'eau et une cascade bruyante juste devant notre porte, je suis resté réveillé 3h la nuit,)y compris sous la porte et aller aux toilettes la nuit à 15 m sous un déluge avec des petites marches glissantes, c'est très problématique. La chambre est au fond d'un trou sans aucune vue ,et très sombre .Enfin la chambre est vraiment très petite, impossible d'ouvrir une valise et on entend la route qui passe juste au-dessus. Même si elle a du charme, la cuisine avec son entrée à 1 m 50 du hauteur est dangereuse. Le prix est vraiment trop élevé. Peut-être qu'avec du beau temps, et une chambre avec vue,on aurait été mieux. Je ne suis pas très difficile , j'ai voyagé dans 75 pays dans des conditions souvent sommaires....

• Greta (10/5): - It was an authentic experience in the heart of Firgas. The host was incredibly friendly, I felt more like I was visiting a relative than staying at a hotel. The morning yoga class was a perfect start to the day before hiking in the mountains. The room (and the weather outside) were a bit cold, but thanks to the three blankets kindly provided by the host, I actually slept very well. If you plan to visit Cenobio de Valerón, you might reconsider, because the kitchen here offers a surprisingly similar atmosphere. And if you’re lucky, a cat may join you on the terrace in the evening and sit on your lap. Niente.
• Laura (10/5): Sonnige, gemütliche und sehr saubere Unterkunft mit toller Gastgeberin! - Die Atmosphäre der Unterkunft ist ganz toll und liebevoll! Es gibt jeden Morgen das Angebot eine angeleitete yogastunde mitzumachen. Die Gastgeberin ist extrem hilfsbereit und immer für Fragen anwesend. Es ist extrem sauber und auch die Ausstattung der Küche und Badezimmer ist super. Es gibt viele sonnige und gemütliche chill areas und auch die Tiere sind sehr entspannt und freundlich. Man trifft andere Reisende und kommt schnell ins Gespräch. Da es im Haus mehrere Zimmer für Reisende gibt und es gemeinsam genutzte Räumlichkeiten gibt ist es kein Ort der kompletten Stille. Aber die Gastgeberin bemüht sich sehr dass alle die Hausregeln befolgen und niemand gestört wird. Das Bett war sehr bequem und es gab ausreichend Kissen und Decken. Alles ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch die Lage ist wunderbar, man wohnt in dem süßen Firgas direkt neben dem Barranco de Azuaje, wo man mit atemberaubenden Aussichten wandern kann. Auch die Salinas in Agaete sind mit dem Auto nur einen Katzensprung entfernt. Wenn man Tipps braucht steht die Gastgeberin einem immer zur Seite. Sollte ich wieder nach Gran canaria reisen, dann definitiv wieder in diese tolle Unterkunft! Es gibt nichts was mir nicht gefallen hat.

• Saskia (9/5): - Op een leuke locatie in Firgas. Een prachtig en bijzonder huis, met allemaal leuke hoekjes en zitjes. Ik voelde mij helemaal welkom. Ik kon zelfs eerder inchecken, zodat ik nog een mooie hike kon maken in de omgeving. De yogales in de ochtend was heel fijn! Doordat het afgelopen tijd veel heeft geregend, was het vrij vochtig in het huis. Hopelijk komen er zonnige dagen aan :)

Ícara es encantadora, hizo que tuviesemos una estancia muy especial en la isla y que recordaremos con mucho cariño, cuida mucho a los huéspedes y se esfuerza por mantenerlo todo limpio. Además sus clases de yoga fueron un regalo mágico. Llovió mucho y no pudimos disfrutar de las terrazas ni espacios exteriores, pero son factores externos q no se pueden controlar.

• Petra (10/5): Budete se tu cítit jako doma - V tomhle ubytování se cítíte opravdu jako doma. Hostitelka je moc milá a ochotná. Její dům je úžasný a útulný. Kromě majitelky tu žijí i její domácí mazlíčci - nějaké kočičky a dva psi. Všichni jsou moc milí. V domě máte k dispozici i společnou kuchyni, která má opravdu unikátní atmosféru, protože je ve skále. Navíc máte možnost každé ráno absolvovat skvělou lekci jógy, čehož jsme moc rádi využili a byli jsme nadšení. Tohle byl vážně skvělý pobyt. Moc děkujeme a vřele doporučujeme!
• Manuel (10/5): - Me ha gustado muchísimo porque este tipo de vivienda me recuerda a mi niñez ya que crecí en un entorno parecido. Lo mejor de todo la anfitriona que es un encanto de persona, muy atenta en todo momento y y que consigue que te sientas como en casa. Agradecer también la clase de yoga que tuvimos con ella.

• Natalia (10/5): Repetiríamos. - Icara, la anfitriona, es genial y se esmera para que tengas la mejor experiencia posible durante la estancia. Incluso te recibe con detallitos de bienvenida. Además: ― La casa es muy especial, tiene mucho encanto. ― La cama es francamente cómoda y la habitación, aunque no es muy grande, tiene mesita de noche, armario, escritorio y silla. ― Los dos baños están muy bien (uno de ellos es enoooorme)... y parecen el Sephora por la cantidad de productos de aseo que ofrece. Buenas duchas (el agua sale caliente y a buena presión). ― La cocina, estando en una cueva, parece de cuento. Está totalmente equipada (además, hay espacio en la nevera para cada habitación) y nos fue perfecta para los desayunos. Extras: ― En la casa hay una guía de Gran Canaria que es magnífica y que nos descubrió lugares que no teníamos apuntados en nuestra ruta, nos fue de fábula. ― No fuimos a las sesiones de yoga, pero los huéspedes con los que coincidimos nos dijeron que estaban superbien. ― La tarde en la que llegamos estaban los restaurantes cerrados (era el Día de Reyes,así que también el supermercado) y a Icara le faltó tiempo para preguntarnos qué necesitábamos. De hecho, no quedamos sin cenar gracias a ella.

• Yasmina (8/5): Muy cómodo y amable - Muy buen trato, disponibilidad y bonitos detalles. Los espacios para hacer yoga y chill out son muy cómodos. La cocina está genial y facilita mucho la estancia. El colchón que nos tocó era nuy viejo
• ANNE (10/5): Comme à la maison - Accueil plus que parfait par Icara que nous avions eu plusieurs fois par messagerie, du coup, on s'est naturellement fait la bise dès l'arrivée, l'impression de passer un séjour chez une copine :D Lieu atypique très cool, bohème, zen, décor coloré qui se marie très bien avec le paysage... Petite cuisine à disposition style grotte, très charmante... et que dire des petits animaux, et des minous qui viennent ronronner sur nos lits le matin (on leur a ouvert notre porte, parce qu'on était en manque de nos petits amours). Bref, une sensation d'être comme à la maison, Icara nous donne en plus de bons conseils voyage en plus de la météo :D

• Jacques (9/5): Un bel endroit agrémenté par cours de Yoga inclus sur super rooftop avec vue splendide - bel endroit un peu bohème, très bien décoré avec rooftop pour le yoga du matin avec une vue magnifique sur la mer et Ténériffe. Des petits espaces commun très cosy (petite térrasse pour se poser) , une cuisine commune dans une grotte pour le café du matin offert , des petits cadeaux de bienvenue (vin et bonbons) et des cours de Yoga inclus chaque matin à 9H00. Super , nous avons passés deux belles journées avec Icara, la maitresse des lieux parfait pour nous

(10/5): A peaceful place to enjoy life - Everything was great, the room very confortable, the place frienship with other people, the possibility to cook, the delicious lasagnas that Riccarda has cooked for us, but more over her kindness to everyone and the peace of the place with yoga every morning. I wish I was still there. The rain but it has nothing to do with the place.

• Leslie (10/5): Lieu où l'on doit venir - La gérante est une personne exceptionnelle que vous devez rencontrer. Le rapport qualité prix est unique. Si vous cherchez un hébergement 4 étoiles tracé votre route. Ce n'est pas l'état d'esprit. Vue magnifique et en prime cours de yoga. Rien.

• Erika (10/5): Yoga und Sonne auf Gran Canaria - Ein sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Yoga-Zentrum, mit vielen gemütlichen Sitzplätzen, vielen Pflanzen, wunderschöner Beleuchtung. Man spürt an allen Ecken, mit wieviel Liebe und Herzblut sich die Inhaberin Icara um alles kümmert. In der Küche, die sich wie in einer Höhle befindet, treffen sich die Gäste aus aller Welt. Morgens gibt es eine Yogapraxis, die Icara mit großer Kompetenz auf englisch anleitet, bei gutem Wetter auf der sonnigen Dachterrasse. Und das ist in dem sehr günstigen Preis mit inbegriffen! Icara hat meine Elektrosensibilität sehr respektvoll akzeptiert und mir ein anderes Zimmer gegeben, das weiter weg vom Router lag. So viel Verständnis und Empathie bin ich von anderen Vermietern nicht gewohnt. Das Haus liegt an einer recht viel befahrenen Straße, es gibt also Autolärm.
• Francisco Javier (3/5): Desconcertante - El pueblo en el que se encuentra La instalación están anticuadas , puertas y ventanas de la habitación nefastas, al igual que el baño, lavabo diminuto que apenas se puede lavar los dientes sín que se salga toda el agua , plato ducha incómodo . Tiene un radiador pero es de pago según me informa la propiedad a mi llegada , esta zona en otoño y en invierno es muy fría con lo cual mi estancia no fue nada cómoda porque tampoco me dijo cuánto tenía que pagar en caso de usarla.

Comunque si accetta più facilmente qualche pecca con un prezzo così ragionevole Niente, in quanto tutto coerente con una filosofia alternativa al consumismo standard

Charmerende sted ikke nyt men med mange små skæve hjørner og kroge hvor du kan slappe af og arbejde fra. Fantastisk udsigt over havet nordsiden af gran canary Island. Stor anbefaling herfra ! Der var enten jeg ikke kunne li, men internettet var noget svingende mht at ha fuld power på din computer adgang.

Grande générosité. Il y a des chiens et des chats qui viennent vous saluer. Ceux qui n' aiment pas les animaux s'abstenir😉

Great big house with lovely spaces and our room was perfect- and we loved the cool underground kitchen. The host is so welcoming and kind. There was also sweet dogs and kitties on the property .
