• Petra (9/5): - Das Zimmr war sehr schön und sehr sauber. Mit Klimagerät und elektrischen Rollläden. Bett prima mit mehreren Kissen zur Auswahl. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Parken im Hof in Garagen oder auf einem Stellplatz ist mitten in der Stadt sehr angenehm.

• Farid (4/5): Personnel sympa mais hôtel dans son jus - Personnel chaleureux, mais l’hôtel n’est pas au standard 4 étoiles. Très ancien, nécessite des travaux pour être à jour. Mobilier ancien. Climatisation module mobile bruyant et pas assez rafraîchissant. Attention, le SPA est payant (15€) mais je ne l’ai pas testé. On est clairement loin du standard d’hôtellerie actuel, j’ai été trompé par le classement de cet hôtel sur l’application.

The location is pretty central with a metro station2- 3 mins walk away All in all it was fine. What I didn’t like is that the rooms only get cleaned every 2 days. There were also long hairs scattered around the bed, that defenitly didn’t belong to me.
• Ahmed (10/5): A very pleasant surprise!! - What a lovely surprise!! Didn't expect it to be such a well run and professional outfit, but it was a very pleasant surprise!! From sending appropriate information before the arrival, to the way a staff member knew I was arriving later than normal, and not only did she stay around for longer than was necessary, but was extremely helpful also. The air conditioning was very welcome indeed, and the cleanliness was remarkable! Overall a place I'd happily return to!! The room given to me was on the smaller side, but nothing to warrant a negative point or expression.

• Antonio (7/5): Not bad, but a four-star hotel can offer more. - Excellent location, between downtown and university. The morning waitress was very professional and kind, very cooperative. As regards breakfast, the buffet should be richer and more limited the number of options to be expressed in advance. It is not pleasant to have to decide a day in advance all the details of your breakfast, including the time. I did not at all appreciate knowing what exactly the "Budget by" formula meant only once in the hotel. I considered it an opaque practice.
• Christopher (8/5): It was fine. I would stay there again. - The breakfast was not free (20 Euros) but there was a wide selection of very tasty breakfast foods. The staff were exceptionally nice. The window blinds are amazing. They completely block the light from outside. The hotel and rooms are very clean. But the floor needed to be swept and the room had a funny smell. The room was much smaller than I expected. I would like to have had a larger room.

The room was perfectly clean and has a mini bar, TV and a small safe. Some towels were too old and wore and sometimes a bad smell came out of the shower drain. But nothing that ruined my experience.

• Verified traveler (10/5): - Ich hatte das Hotel für eine Geschäftsreise an die Univerität gebucht und die Lage war dafür optimal: 10 Minuten Fußweg zum Hauptgebäude der Universität. Man erreicht aber auch in ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß in die Innenstadt von Hannover. Direkt am Hotel kann man (außer Freitagabend bis Samstag wegen Markt) auf dem Klagesmarkt kostenlos parken. Das Hotel bietet aber auch Garagenparkplätze gegen eine Gebühr an. Das Zimmer war klein, aber die Aufteilung gut durchdacht, da sich das Bett in einem separaten Teil befand. Mein Zimmer war von der Straße abgewand und sehr ruhig. Es gibt elektrische Rollläden mit denen das Zimmer vollständig verdunkelt werden kann. Das Personal war in allen Belangen (Check-In, Frühstück, Gepäckaufbewahrung) sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, mit einer großen Auswahl von herzhaften und süßen Speisen. Weiterhin besitzt das Hotel einen Wellnessbereich (nicht genutzt, sah aber sehr sauber und einladend aus) und einen kleinen Fitnessraum (jeweils ein Laufband, Crosstrainer, Rad, einige Möglichkeiten für Krafttraining), der gut in Schuss und sauber war. Insgesamt war ich mit meinem Aufenthalt rundum zufrieden und würde wieder kommen.

Poor treatment for sure. No one wants a conflict on a foreign trip.

• Verified traveler (2/5): Pay extra for SPA?? - Hotel in general is ok but the fact that they wanted to charge extra for the Spa is not fair. You see on hotels.com pictures of the SPA it is included in primary service of hotel and nowhere it is written you need to pay extra its use. I have no problem to pay but the reaction of the receptionists was rather aggressive where I was the one that did not understand how it works. Dear hotel if you publish lots of pictures of SPA facility and you put it in your description as primary service included and don´t mention it is a paid service, your customers will expect that you can use this and do not have to pay 15 euros extra to enter into the steam room.

Mann kann kaum glauben, daß das Hotel ****Stern Hotel kategoriert ist. ab 23:00 Uhr ist Reception nicht belegt und alle Türen sind geschlossen. Da mein Einsatu so lange dauerte, kamm ich nach 23:00Uhr ins Hotel. keine Mensch, keine Info, Keine Parkplatz! was soll dieses Hotel f. Geschäftsreisende??? Ich müßte draußen auf der Strasse parken. also als ****Sterne Hotel müß Reception 24Std. belegt sein.
• NELMA AUGUSTA (10/5): Aconchegante e charmoso - Escolha super acertada. Caminhei passeando por 20 minutos da HBF até o local, foi delicioso conhecer este lado da cidade. Também caminha-se 15 minutos até o Centro da cidade. O HOTEL oferece uma água e um delicioso café da manhã incluído na diária. Não conta taxa de turismo. Recomendo com certeza, me senti em casa.

• Albertus (8/5): Goed hotel - Schone kamer, goed bed, goede douche, erg goed ontbijt. Centrum op loopafstand. Ontvangst was matig: Voordeur op slot met een bel. Na lang wachten werd de deur geopend. Receptioniste kon in eerste instantie mijn reservering niet vinden. Ik had een garage geboekt voor de auto, daar snapte ze helemaal niets van. Ook vreemd voor een 4-terren hotel is dat er totaal geen personeel meer is en geen bemande receptie na 22:30 uur.

• YUJI (10/5): 交通便利で豪華サービス良いホテル - 夜11時以降の裏口から入る鍵をいくらやってもドアが開いてくれず焦ったが、出て来てくれて玄関開けてくれた。少し、車の往来がうるさかった。夕食を部屋に持って来てくれた際に生ビール忘れ遅れたのでサービスしてくれた。朝食も夕食も凄く手作りで美味しかった。

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und geräumig, die Nasszelle hätte etwas größer sein dürfen. Auch das Frühstück war absolut topp. Werde gerne wieder kommen.

• Amir (10/5): Familien geführtes Hotel mit Tradition - Das Savoy in Hannover gehört nicht zu der Savoy Kette, das war die erste Überraschung. Die zweite war das familiäre und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Als junge Familie mit einem Baby haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Um es kurz zu machen. Wir kommen wieder.

The receptionist waited for our late arrival, after 23:00, and was very helpful during our arrival. The central location has traffic noise as a 'partner' and as the room had no A/C we had a very hot night due to the warm weather on the day of our arrival. The breakfast and service of this hotel in impeccable.

The breakfast was good, nice variety. We stay for three nights and enjoyed each and every day. English spoken freely with no communication problems.
