Thank you kindly for your extra effort to ensure we had everything we needed at our fingertips. The ocean view was spectacular and we saw deer and seals from the deck as we enjoyed the ocean view. We appreciated the opportunity to wash our clothes as we were extending our trip to other parts of B.C. There are many hiking and mountain biking trails nearby which we hope to have time for on our next trip. There are quite a few steps to get down to the boathouse but they are well lit and gave us our much needed daily exercise. Our host also offered to help with luggage if needed but we had no issues.
• Susan (10/5): The accommodation was outstanding! Two sightings of killer whales from our deck! - Location was central to our daily excursions…and fabulous for seeing ocean life. Such a beautiful location. Host was helpful and friendly. Resident deer on the property too. Rental was clean, well supplied and comfortable. Would stay again! Didn’t realize there were 89 steps down to our place! No hand railing or night lighting. Carrying suitcases or heavy items up or down was difficult. Must have a car…no public transportation if needed.
• Anette (9/5): Weite - Aussicht - Ruhe - Der Ausblick ist umwerfend!! Wir haben die Weite und die Ruhe sehr genossen. Abends kamen junge Elche (?) auf dem Gelände zu Besuch, ebenfalls genießend ;) Das Bett war sehr gemütlich und es gab genügend Handtücher; auch in der kleinen Küche fehlte es an nichts! Um das Boothaus herum wirkte es ein bisschen trostlos… aber das spielte letztlich keine Rolle.
• Steve (10/5): Stunning views at the boathouse - the views from the boathouse cant be beat! so many things to see including otters, seals, starfish, deer and tons of other wildlife!

• Don (8/5): Very enjoyable except for the steep steps. - The ocean front view ,it was very quiet and peaceful the owner was extremely helpful with any and all of our requests. There are many steps to get from the parking area and we are 80 plus old made daily trips difficult however the owner was very understanding and helpful.
