• Braasch (10/5): Highly recommended. We would return in a heartbeat. - We just had a heartfelt stay at The Argyle Townhomes near King’s Cross St Pancras by Short Stories London. The location could not have been more perfect. Situated right in the heart of Central London, we were steps from everything we wanted to explore, with the vibrant energy of the city quite literally at our doorstep. With the British Library, Tube access, and major rail connections just moments away, navigating London could not have been easier. The townhome itself is absolutely gorgeous, with soaring ceilings, elegant touches throughout, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that immediately made us feel at home. Everything was exceptionally well appointed, comfortable, and thoughtfully maintained. What truly sets this property apart is the feeling it evokes. After two weeks, we genuinely found ourselves imagining what it would be like to actually live there. It felt less like temporary accommodation and more like the beautifully kept home of a dear family member, so comfortable and familiar that it mirrored the feeling of our own homes, which is perhaps the highest compliment one can give a place. We liked everything.
• Tirpata (9/5): - The space and the location is absolutely fantastic! It doesnt get better than this!! To have a spacious and well equipped kitchen is amazing! The gate and the steps 🙈🙈 People with mobility issues will struggle with the tiny steps and that gate needs to be looked at for sure. Aside from that it would be very very beneficial to install a fly mesh on the doors and windows leading to the garden. As lovely as it is to open the door and let the fresh air in , the flies and assorted Boeing sized Honey Bees find their way into the apartment. Google lens and I had to find creative ways to lure them out safely.

• Acet (10/5): Perfect stay. I will definetely come bavk and stay here again - I felt like home, loves the kitchen and the little private garden. We could not do the heating, it can be easier to set the heating.

• Sarah (10/5): Amazing stay in this family friendly, accessible unit! - Great location very accessible! Lots of space and well equipped for our family of 6. Kitchen, laundry all were great. Hosts were very responsive to questions leading up to our trip. We had a great stay. We visited over Christmas with our kids and had been asking about how we could buy a little Christmas tree to have. When we arrived there was one set up and decorated in the unit. So thoughtful! Some street noise, but was very manageable.

• Nicole (9/5): Excellent. - Very well appointed whole basement apartment in very central location. Appreciated all the communication with hosts. Everything we needed with well appointed kitchen and washer dryer. Beautifully done. Nice extra touch with Xmas tree set up made it festive. Train nearby vibration may bother some.

• Elena (9/5): Perfect Perfect Perfect - I used to live in London and this little apartment brought the best memories for me. The location was perfect. So close to everything yet tucket away. The place was well equipped and organized to accommodate a long stay for a couple or a small family. The outside patio was amazing!! It's my new "go to" for all future trips in London. It can get a bit noisy with the kids playground on the back but honestly nothing to complain considering you are in one of the busiest places in Europe

• MEHMET FATİH (10/5): Herşeyi ile güzel. - Bahçe katı dairede eşim ve kızım ile ailecek kaldık. Ev tertemiz ve çok zevkli tasarlanmış. Mutfaktan ufak bir bahçeye çıkılıyor ki akşamları çok keyifli. Ev yeterince sıcak; sıcak su problemi de hiç yaşamadık. Odalar yeterince büyük.Dolap ve çekmeceler fırın buzdolabı olabildiğince temiz ve yeniler. Konumu 5 farklı metronun aktarma noktası olan st.pancras metro istasyonuna sadece 2 dk. Ayrıca otobüs durağına da sadece 2 dk. Şehirler arası tren istasyonu olan king cross a da yine aynı şekilde. Akşam bile canlı olan ana caddede restoranlar ve market bulmak mümkün. Tren istasyonunda da yine market var. Biz evin konumunu; temizliğini ve dizaynını çok beğendik. Londra’ya yine gelirsem yine aynı yerde kalırım. Teşekkürler.

• Michael (9/5): Fantastiskt boende med närhet till King’s Cross station. Rekommenderar skarpt! - Fantastiskt fin, fräsch och välstädat boende. Närheten till King’s Cross station gjorde att allt fanns nära tillhands. Lite kyligt emellanåt men värmen gick att justera.

• Ben (5/5): At the price, I felt we should have an apartment above ground. - Apartment is a ross the street from St Pancras International train station and Kings Crossing Tube. Clean and beautiful apartment. I can hear the tube line run all night. The apartment is below the road in the basement of another apartment. Gate next to the sidewalk is extremely to open. Put the key in the lock from "inside" the gate. There is a school behind the apts and gets loud with kids during recess.

But I realise this is a City centre issue and nothing to do with the services/facilities. The courtyard is a great featire and I think quite unusual for a centrally located apartment in London.

• Ruoyu (9/5): - Very spacious, well-equipped and designed apartment, close to the train station and public transportation. Very friendly and helpful staff. The staff went out of the way to arrange a baby seat for us last minute, which was really kind. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Minor issues for improvement: temperature control seems to be fixed, the apartment is heated up soon on a sunny day and it seems we could not lower the temperature but opening the windows to cool off. The street can be noisy at night and early morning due to open windows.

• Jiawei (7/5): - 地理位置绝佳，室内装饰不错，基本设施齐全 公寓其实是地下室，这点并没有说清楚，只在快到达时才告知，其实对住客并不公平，且进门的台阶很陡，不建议年纪大的人和携带很多行李的人入住，而且通往浴室也要下台阶，很不方便。 此外，卧室的通风不好，晚上睡觉的气候觉得很闷热。床品上有头发，不知道有没有换过。
• Amanda (8/5): Absolutely perfect and stress free. - The property was lovely and clean and was better than photos. The amenities in the property were we’re great. We were there at the height of the heatwave and there were 3 large fans that were definitely needed in the weather and greatly appreciated. Location was perfect for what we wanted. And location to Kings Cross/ St Pancras was less than a minute walk. We arrived into London earlier than expected and we were able to check in earlier than expected which was a massive bonus. Obviously this was because the property was tenant free on day we arrived. But I asked what the likelihood of checking in earlier would be and it wasn’t an issue at all. Being a seasoned traveler this rarely happens. I don’t think I could complain about anything in the house. The only thing I would say, but I do believe it’s reiterated in the property listing is, as it’s the ground floor flat, the stairs to get down to front door would be difficult for somebody with mobility issues.

• Valeriia (9/5): Had the best weekend! - The house had a perfect location, the host was very friendly and helpful, gave clear instructions. The place was spotless clean with all necessary kitchen and bathroom amenities( except for some reason there was no cutlery which was a shame). Overall very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend! Quite noisy due to the location but it’s expected and not the owners fault.

• Christyn (9/5): Superb - Location and facilities in the apartment was great. 3 minutes walk from King Cross station and buses outside. You can hear the trains but it’s ok for us. Wished there is a lockbox is at the property instead of retrieving and sending the keys back at a hotel nearby. I could not open the main door with the key. Luckily my husband was open to but using some strength and a bit of force!
• Tonya (10/5): Regardless of the bathroom issue it was amazing and we would stay there again. - It is so close to the Kings Cross Station which allows you to see all of London. We arrived very late and I was happy the checkin was still available at the partner hotel front desk. Also- the staff was VERY quick to respond to our questions and addressed them. The bathroom ventilation was very poor. After each shower is was extremely hot and humid and there was a little smell of mildew which I assumed was from poor ventilation.
• Mari (10/5): Beautiful, clean, well appointed property right in the heart of Camden. - The property needed more fans for warmer days. There was online one fan in the top floor, front bedroom. Need instructions for opening skylights on top floor. I did not like that the property is on a VERY noisy street. I was awoken at 4-5 AM every day. Just be aware when renting the property.

• Nineth (6/5): Beautiful. but mold issues - It is a beautiful apartment; everything is like the pictures. The kitchen and appliances are very high-end. Sadly, the apartment has a mold problem in the bathroom. From the moment you enter the apartment, you feel the smell, and it was showing in the walls.  The host was extremely helpful. We were planning to stay four nights there, but because of the smell and the health hazards, we were offered to move to another apartment in a very different location. Maybe not with all the high-end things, but bigger and very nice too.  I think the moment they get rid of the mold it will be a great place to stay.

• Teresa (8/5): Convenient and central location - The location is great. 5 mins to King's Cross station which brings us anywhere in the UK. A lot of good restaurants around which is very convenient. The ventilation in the bathroom is not working well and it has smell of mold. The apartment is underground and we could hear the underground train in the bedroom.

You can hear the trains/tubes, the bedroom was hot and hard to cool down even with a fan. The temperature control didn’t seem to work.

The location is amazing- just a few steps to the Kings Cross - and train station, the staff was helpful, and responsive! Nice smart tv, great for families It can be hot if the weather is too warm , because no AC- but there are several strong fans… -there are 3 levels- so lots of stairs- while we didn’t mind at all- I could see this being difficult for others (?)
