Margot (8/5): - J'y ai passé un bon séjour. Les espaces communs (cuisine et sanitaire) étaient propres. Le ménage y est fait régulièrement. Il y a les bus juste à coté qui vous amène soit au port soit au centre commercial. Des commerces (café, resto) sont à proximité. De plus si vous avez un visa travail il y avait des annonces pour chercher du travail. Le matelas était pas très confort mais ça a été pour 2 nuits.

Sebastian (7/5): Eines von vielen Hostels an der Eadt Coast - Hatte ein Doppelzimmer dorm Bett gebucht und es gab keinen zweiten Gast die Nacht. Parkplätze auf dem Gelände begrenzt aber in der strasse genug freie Parkplätze. Die eingeführte altersbegrenzung. Ich war am Anfang meines Roadtrips dort und wollte wieder einchecken, hieß es, nur noch teures Einzelzimmer möglich. Dafür ist die Ausstattung erheblich zu schlecht. Nun Pool gab es, habe ich beim ersten Besuch nicht genutzt, strand ist in der Nähe.

Steffen (7/5): Hostel with good facilities but not overwhealming - It is quite a social hostel offering some activities (e.g. weekly movie night) and options to gather together (pool, pool table, kitchen). Helpful staff. Kitchen is equipped well. Laundry facilities. Good WIFI. Aldi supermarket not too far away. Location was not that great from my point of view. Of course, the beach is not too far away. But is it far away anywhere at the Sunshine Coast? It is a laid-back street but the surrounding neighborhood is not very exciting and there's not much to do. Very few nice cafes, bars and/or restaurants close by. The Queen-size bedroom is very small. Two people and two bigger bags will be a challenge. For me alone it was okay. I was very surprised that the room has no A/C and only a fan. It was okay for two rainy days in March. I wouldn't want to be there on a hot and sunny day (room is also on the 1st floor and therefore under the roof). Due to the small size of the room, you will also always be faced to the airstream of the fan (I am quite sensitive on that). Few seating areas in the kitchen area and not dining table in the room either. The matress is VERY soft.

Lorinda (7/5): Nice small hostel - Nice small hostel, close to the beach and public transport. The owner is really nice and welcoming. I've stayed here 3 times in the space of a year. This last time I was in a 4 bed dorm that appeared to have 2 longtermers in it. Their stuff was everywhere a complete mess I was surprised as when I have stayed here before the rooms have been kept tidy. Maybe just keep the long term guests in the same dorm especially if they aren't being considering the room. Think there may be some mould or dust in the Aircon as my sinuses not irritated in the room.

christian (6/5): A day trip on Sunshine Coast. - Staff was brilliant. Room was ok if you like sharing but I’m getting a bit old for that now (climbing on top bunk). It seemed pretty clean. Was only there for a short one day trip though. If you like hostels you will like this place. Air con at night right next to bed and seemed loud. So I left early. Need it on though in this heat. That’s my only complaint about this place.

Samantha Wyatt Smith (9/5): Perfect for a quick trip to the sunshine coast :) - I loved the shared communal spaces, the cute pool and lounge room. The location was easy to walk to the beach and local cafe's and restaurants. I didn't need the kitchen facilities but it looked like they had anything you could want or need in there :)

Rebecca (6/5): Fint hostel for et par nætter - Fine senge og dejligt store rum. God beliggenhed, tæt på stranden. Dejligt loungeområde til afslapning når man venter på at kunne tjekke ind Et hostel der på virker rent, men faktisk er beskidt. Håndklædet jeg fik givet ved tjek ind, var med beskidte pletter på. Møbler og poolen var beskidt. Atmosfæren var ikke rar, en gruppe var konstant påvirket og der blev røget hash og rullet i fællesområdet, i køkkenet og på værelserne. Personalet virkede kun til at opmuntre det.

Salomé Cardona (5/5): Nice staff and great design, but the place needs more order and better upkeep. - The property itself is beautiful, well designed, nicely decorated, and looks recently renovated. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. It has a lot of potential to be a great place if better managed, as the overall setup and design are lovely. Unfortunately, the place felt quite disorganized. When I entered my room, there were clothes all over the floor, the bathroom was full of other guests’ belongings, and the shower was flooded. The lockers looked messy and were already taken. At night, there was no quiet time, people kept gathering by the pool and common areas after 10 p.m., coming in and out of rooms late. I also saw people smoking cigarettes and weed in front of the non-smoking area, which was upsetting. It seemed there was no supervision after office hours, which really affected the experience.
Jane (10/5): wonderful - A safe, clean, secure hostel with everything needed. wonderful staff and easy communication. great location close to shops and everything. just a small suggestion, not a complaint maybe consider blinds on beds for more privacy for the rooms with a lot of beds.

Tabitha (9/5): Great place, great people - Amazing location, 7 minutes walk from the beach and loads of great food and shops around. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Had free pool and ping pong tables. Lots of social areas to hang out and there were occasional events that the hostel held like free bbq nights. Good vibes and good people Clearly a very popular hostel so book in advance as it’s quite hard to extend your stay. Often fully booked. Also large rooms of about 10 people with only one bathroom and shower but there is also communal showers too so not the end of the world.

Barson (3/5): the place is very noisy and the management has a poor attitude. - the pool was good ,also the kitchen was well set up. There was a very loud argument one night with two people yelling at the top of their lungs.This went on for more than ten minutes and nothing was done about it. When I complained to the owner the next day, he said there was an overnight supervisor on duty and laughed. that is a very poor response. All the rooms had automatic door closers which made a loud bang every time someone went in or out. not a nice experience overall. My room was $200 per night. It had a queen bed but no tv or bathroom,not even a chair. Next time I will stay at a motel , which can be had for about the same cost.

Sarah (1/5): Look elsewhere - Clean bathroom and room - although very small Party house- kept awake both nights with excessive noise throughout the night and other guests smoking outside the room we occupied which caused a bright light to come on through the night and fumes. Left earlier then planned - not good value for money. Used to backpackers as base to stay but this was not what I would recommend, unless you want a party

Daina (6/5): It was fine for one night - Was super bright & affordable. Facilities were great quality - bathrooms were clean Check in & check out was confusing and a bit annoying - the location where they stored my luggage for the day seemed a bit dodgy, I was quite nervous for the rest of the day before I could check in - guy in the morning said to come back a little earlier than 2 & we can see if I can check in to my room early. So I did, but then found out that reception was “closed” until 2pm. So I just sat around for 30 mins - check out was by 10am. So, at 9:30am I go to hand my key back and finalise my stay but there was no one around - despite the sign saying “reception opens at 9am”. Seems weird to not have someone around in the morning when you know there’s check outs happening. The phone number provided kept hanging up on me, so I ended up just leaving the key beside the door & left. As well, there are sensor lights all along the balcony where the rooms are. Understandable, but they were picking up movements of literally anything, and the blinds don’t do a good job of blocking light out, so the room was lighting up all throughout the night. Lastly - I know it’s a hostel and people are there for a fun time - but there were guys that were up and shouting until about 4-5am. Most hostels I’ve stayed at have rules around quiet hours, making sure those people who don’t want to be up all night partying are able to enjoy their stay just as much as those that do.

Karen (3/5): Poor - Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean. No toilet paper in ladies toilet upstairs at 9pm. No clean hand towel or paper towel to dry hands. Noisey outside our room. Not much sleep, music can be heard until midnight. Other hostel users yelling out to friends and talking loudly on phone outside room. Wouldn't stay close to stairs again, or bathrooms. Perhaps bar fridges in rooms would be a great idea.

Jennifer (7/5): Overall very good - The facilities were definitely clean and cleaned regularly, nice decor, and the vibe was friendly and easygoing. Many people asked me if I needed help with my luggage on the way in, and were friendly in general, that is always nice. The place had well-coordinated events, and staff were great at communicating this to guests. There was a 7/11 around the corner, with a few other shops. And other amenities within reasonable walking distance to the hostel, location is very doable without a car. The tea, coffee, and milk provided by the hostel were a nice touch. It meant it didn't need to buy and store these things. Common areas were nice, and there are some very cool swinging egg chairs out the front. Designated smoking areas on the property. And lots of games, like darts, ping pong table, and small pool. I stayed in an 8-bed dorm room. The beds do not have curtains and are relatively flimsy, so depending on who you share with... a bit wobbly. Pillows were very thin, too. Needed to use clothing to prop underneath. Mattress was okay, and there is a bedside light you can use, too. Another thing was that the cleaner came in at 830 am on a Sunday morning, which I thought was pretty odd, given it was cleaned the night before, and checkout is 10 am on any given day. There was loud partying going on downstairs at night, but I booked in on a Friday/Saturday night, so that's typical and kind of to be expected - I can't speak for Sunday through to Thursday.

Guadalupe (10/5): Recommend if you are looking for something quiet close to the beach :) - The hostel is brand new and it was super clean. Staff is very friendly. Easy parking either on he hostel or street. Close to shops and the beach. They even provide blanket and towel. It is ok if you are not looking to much into socialize and just to chill by yourself and rest which was what I wanted after a long month of travel Kitchen was dirty, but is not the fault of the staff is because of people that cook doesn’t clean after. Lisa (3/5): Poor - I have booked a dorm and ask if i can have a bed below on the bank bed and also ground floor because i have a knee injury and they confirm in a email, but as i arrived they told me they hav nothing groundfloor only a private room for 125$ , no aircon , no bathroom inside and very noisy i ask them nicely to close the reception door softly but no allways slamming so in my room and could not rest 😱i have to say after more the 10 y traveling in 50 country’s over 100 Hostels this was sad for me to get treated this way Above
