Mabel (10/5): Will surely stay here when I come back to Dali next time - The location is superb. Just round the corner of the busy ancient city alleys and nested in a quiet street. We can easily get back to hotel for a toilet break n return to shopping n drinks at one of the many bars in the ancient city. The signature breakfast offers variety n good quality choices, ranging from chicken soup, abalone, sea cumber to noodles, in addition to the basics of juice, cold cut, cereal, bread…. When we come back from dinner n drinks in late evening, staff offer hot milk and sweet soup and bring up to our room for us. Very thoughtful. The design n decoration is tastifully done while keeping the beauty of the local culture. My room’s only window opens to the wall of the next door building. The staff offered me a bigger room (a free upgrade) to 3rd floor.
