ANNA (8/5): Une étape qui vaut le détour sur la route des vacances - Le côté « campagne » avec les animaux qui se baladent dans la copropriété librement, la piscine, et le restaurant. L’odeur de l’humidité dans la chambre, manque de ventilation.

Jeremy (10/5): Lovely overnight stay in the forest - Beautiful quiet location in small village, but with choice of nearby bars and restaurants. Not that there was any need as the food was excellent, proper local, homemade stuff. Cosy room in good taste. Very helpful staff who went out if their way to make my stay so pleasant. The weather :-)

Aanrader. - Maison de Mezos is een fijne relaxte lokatie, in een mooie omgeving met een prachtig zwembad en je kunt er geweldig eten. Het restaurant, dat helaas gaat verhuizen, heeft sinds recent een Bib Gourmand erkenning. De kamers zijn eenvoudig, maar schoon en functioneel.

Sara (6/5): Extravagante y atípico - El lugar es peculiar, una típica casa francesa dividida en habitaciones con decoración muy vintage, como una gran casa de campo lujosa con aspecto de los años 60. Nos encantó el jardín, las cabañas y las caravanas que se pueden alquilar, los animales en libertad allí presentes (todos muy amigables), y la zona de piscina. El personal muy agradable y amable, gente joven pero bien preparada para la gestión y que hicieron nuestra estancia muy amena. La planta de arriba y las habitaciones necesitan una reforma urgente, los suelos son de moqueta de cuerda y el suelo en el interior de la vivienda es irregular, no está nivelado. La zona del lago no está nada conservada y el agua estaba estancada.

Nicholas (8/5): Overall a pleasant stay - Overall it was a pleasant stay , we had an evening meal that was superb ! Location was good, and easy to get around by bike and car For us personally, we would have liked to see a breakfast menu to have more choices, ie , fresh fruit , cheese , cereals etc ? What we had was nice but limited Whilst we are animal lovers , we found cats jumping on the breakfast table while you are trying to eat a bit much , Our room was acceptable however it could do with an upgrade , it was ‘clean’ however, lots of spiders and carpets that were stained , also the toilet that desperately needs moving so it is straight ! , noise from next door rooms even when bathroom tap running ! We stayed for four nights and unfortunately Our room was not checked /cleaned , and coffee / tea etc was not available in the room, perhaps we expected too much however ? When checking out , we were left ‘waiting ´ 20 mins until someone came , and unfortunately wasn’t even asked if we enjoyed our stay ? It’s such a shame and think it could be so much better with a small amount of changes
Silvia (10/5): In the countryside but close to the sea - This place is cozy and unique. It is just a few kms from the coast but in the countryside. The environment is so beautiful and charmant. You can really take a rest here. Abd the restaurant is very good.

I know that the rooms are basic but the cleanliness is below par. - Location was great - nice cafe near by and the river at the rear of the property made it feel tranquil. We stayed in the triple room in the central building and it was worse than some hostels I've been in. - Floor was damp - Cockroaches in the bathroom - Room not clean - Dirt and dust everywhere - Spiders in the wardrobe and all over the room - again hints at not having being cleaned - tired/ worn/ stained furniture - NO WINDOW!!
