• Armin (9/5): Relaxing days in a wonderful environment - Great location on the beach away from the village, large property with room and villas well spread out. It is a picture perfect place, long beach, palm trees, well maintained property, great food by the artists in the kitchen (extremely well done, fresh, tasty, innovative, but comes with a price). The team is super friendly and welcoming. If you look for secluded and comfortable days on the beach as a stopover on the way further east, that is it. The resort was awesome (you pay for the location, though), but not sure what the attraction of Palomino is. Strand is mainly washed away and only a small strip remains, in places it was quite dirty, stabilisation structures make a beach walk challenging. As it is a sand beach open to the sea, water is not as clear as around Santa Marta and the Toyona NP.

• IPM (7/5): Séjour au calme dans un cadre agréable - Le cadre est très bien, espaces verts bien entretenus. L'hôtel est situé en dehors de la ville de Palomino mais on peut s'y rendre à pied en marchant un peu (15-20 mn). Par contre, pour un retour de nuit, il est préférable de prendre un taxi ou un tuktuk; ou bien dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel. Le personnel est agréable et à l'écoute des hôtes. Suite à de fortes pluies en janvier, un pont s'est effondré à mi-chemin entre Santa Marta et Palomino. Les véhicules ne pouvant plus passer, seuls les piétons étaient autorisés à traverser le pont, avec leurs bagages! Il a fallu complètement changer notre programme et nos moyens de transport. Cela a occasionné de belles rencontres et plein de souvenirs. La mer est en contrebas de l'hôtel mais impossible de nager car mer très agitée, plutôt adaptée pour des surfeurs. Bien que la chambre soit propre, on aime ou pas le sol en ciment. La présentation dominante de l'hôtel se veut écologique: le rapport qualité-prix est-il correct?

Food was great I was also lucky enough to score a room upgrade on checkin - thank-you!! I had such a wonderful time at this resort and Palomino. I loved everything about this place, for me it was perfect - I think the only watch out could suggest would be the focus of this hotel is on nature connection and relaxation, rather than luxury. It certainly is premium and has fantastic service, but it’s not a corporate luxury hotel (which I think is a positive)

We loved seeing all the wildlife too, especially around the lake. The river tour was more expensive than other places but was a private river trip to a secluded beach and was very picturesque and lovely.

El clima óptimo Limpieza 100% No es que no nos hubiera gustado , pero un Tour a la casa museo Antive si es demasiado costoso para lo que hay que ver y visitar . No desmeritamos la explicación y charla con la dueña de la casa Museo, pues conoce mucho de las culturas indígenas de la zona, ella muy atenta y amable . Pero hay bajarle el precio al recorrido.

This place is already unfairly good: ocean view that resets your nervous system, massages that melt time, breakfast you think about hours later, and a pool that makes you forget your phone exists. And still, the highlight of the stay was Raiza. Raiza’s service wasn’t “polite” or “professional.” It was human, warm, intuitive, and effortlessly excellent. She reads the room without hovering, solves things before they become problems, and makes you feel genuinely welcome rather than serviced. That’s rare. She booked massages, tuk tuks, and helped with a first aid kit we needed. You don’t notice it while it’s happening — you notice it when you realize how relaxed and taken care of you feel. I’ve stayed in great hotels all over the world. Views blur together. Pools are pools. But people like Raiza are the reason you remember a place and want to come back. She didn’t just elevate the stay — she was the stay. If management is reading this: protect her, reward her, and clone her if science allows. • Carlijn (8/5): We hebben een fijn verblijf gehad, wel is het verblijf iets gedateerd. Wel goed schoon. - De plek is erg mooi, daarnaast was het erg schoon. Yoga les wat ze aanbieden kan ik aanbevelen. Jammer dat de douche niet warm was. Ontbijt eerste ochtend was beperkt omdat we wat later waren ivm een yoga les. Er was geen airco, wel een ven. In de nacht vaak koud gehad.

• Carlos Mario Lozano (8/5): Buen hotel - Las instalaciones son bonitas, el hotel es grande, bastante tranquilo, con acceso al mar. Habitación amplia La cama no es cómoda, muy dura, no apta para descansar.
• Leon (10/5): Geld zeker waard!! - Alles! Het was rustig hadden de bungalow het dichtstbij het strand echt heerlijk! Goed ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel die bij alles willen helpen. Voor het ongemak wat we hadden gehad kregen wij een gratis cocktail. Echt het geld dubbel en dwars waard. Het was wel onhandig lopen over het strand naar palomino, maar dat was het waard. Ook was er ongedierte een soort rat die de hele tijd bij ons naar binnen kwam. Ze hebben het proberen te verhelpen, maar omdat wij een buitendouche hadden kon hij even goed zo naar binnen. Ze hadden van te voren mogen vertellen dat het eten in een plastic bak moest doen omdat anders het beestje erin gaat knagen. Mijn tasje en verschillende kledingstukken zijn namelijk stuk gebeten door het beest.

Sea was nice but hard to get into water with some of the sand erosion. Some issues with getting room phones to work. Lighting in bungalows could be a little better to make it easier to see in main room.

Se escuchan las conversaciones de las habitaciones de al lado y a veces es dificil descansar con ese ruido. No se si es por lo silencioso del lugar o las paredes muy delgadas.
• Olaf (8/5): - Direkt am Strand und super ruhig bis auf das Wellenrauschen und Tiergeräusche. Netter Service im Restaurant und auch an der Strandbar. Restaurant nur erreichbar über einen Treppe. Bungalows sind ok, manchmal (je nach Sonnenschein) hat man auch heisses Duschwasser :) Pool ist am Strand, tolle Lage und ausreichend groß. Manchmal lange Wartezeiten im Restaurant.

• Noel (4/5): Je geld echt niet waard - Het was mooi en zat aan het strand Het eten (vooral lunch en diner) was heel erg matig. Alles was ontzettend zout. De kamer was slecht, niet hygiënisch en verre van 5 sterren waard. De bedjes aan het zwemband vielen van ellende uit elkaar.

• havanna4u (7/5): - Ładnie położony teren, dostęp do plaży i basenu. Bardzo dobre jedzenie. Pierwszego dnia w moim pokoju nie było ręczników, ani ciepłej wody. Internet wifi też wieczorem przestał działać. Recepcjonistka zwinęła się do domu ok. 21.00 i dopiero następnego dnia raczyła odpowiedzieć na wysłane wiadomości. Wieczorem nie ma kontaktu z obsługą. Hotel świeci pustkami. Pokój był bardzo ciemny, a zamiast łóżka małżeńskiego dostałam 2 złączone, z podziałem na środku. Bardzo drogie wycieczki oferowane przez recepcję.

• Gilles (10/5): Fantastic stay - We enjoyed everything there, starting with a well-trained always smiling staff, very attentive to our needs. The property and location are great. Food is fantastic, a lot better than we would have expected there which reduces the need to go to Palomino. All in all, we had a fantastic stay! The beach of the hotel itself is still great, but Palomino beaches are getting narrower year after year and it is a bit cumbersome to walk to the village (many obstacles, can't just walk on the beach). They offer a paid tuktuk service to get you there and back though.

• Vincent (10/5): Villas sur la plage: ouahhh - Magnifique. Ne ratez pas les villas sur la plage avec une vue sur la mer au réveil. Le prix en vaut l'expérience. Pour ceux qui veulent décompresser qu calme, c'est l'idéal et loin du bruit de la ville
• Gabriele (9/5): Herrliche Lage mit vielen Palmen und Schatten, köstliches Essen - eine klare Empfehlung! - Wir hatten einen Bungalow am Strand, das ist sehr zu empfehlen - man schläft mit dem Rauschen des Meeres ein und wacht damit auf. Generell ist im Osten die Lage viel viel besser. Im Ort Palomino selbst hat es den Strand großteils weggespült, dort gibt es kaum mehr einen, also unbedingt auf dieser Seite buchen. Frühstück, Mittagessen, Abendessen - alles wirklich sehr gut. Es ist wunderbar viel Platz und eine herrliche Ruhe, das haben wir sehr geschätzt. Die Auflagen der Liegen könnten vielleicht besser gereinigt oder einmal erneuert werden, aber sonst gibt es nichts auszusetzen.
• Hélène (7/5): Bel emplacement, bel hôtel, mais trop cher pour le service pas à la hauteur. - Belle piscine, emplacement agréable et calme. Chambre avec vue plage très confortable. Bon restaurant et grand choix de cocktails. Spa agréable (on se fait masser avec le bruit de la mer), masseuses très gentilles et professionnelles. Arrives à 12h30, les chambres n’étaient pas prêtes, nous avons donc attendu au restaurant de la plage en consommant des plats et des boissons. María de la réception (très gentille et efficace) nous avait dit qu’elle nous enverrait un message WhatsApp quand les chambres serait prêtes. Finalement à 15h, aucune nouvelle. J’ai envoyé un message WhatsApp qui est resté sans réponse !! De retour à la réception, María était partie mais sa collègue nous a dit qu’une seule chambre était prête. Il a fallu attendre une heure de plus pour disposer de la 2ème chambre, malgré plusieurs relances de notre part !! On a eu l’impression que le personnel ne faisait aucun effort. Ils nous ont juste offert des cocktails étant donné qu’on était vraiment pas contents. Dans la chambre Ni Muni (vue montagne), pas du tout d’eau chaude et aucune pression dans la douche ! Et très bruyant à cause de la proximité du groupe électrogène. Inadmissible vu le prix payé. La chambre Nuii vue plage était plus calme, si ce n’est que, vu le manque d’isolation, on entendait le voisin ronfler et discuter au téléphone, comme s’il avait été dans la même chambre que nous ! Attente interminable au restaurant (en moyenne une heure), surtout le deuxième repas de midi au restaurant de la plage… aucun mot d’excuse de la part du personnel, très nonchalant. Petit déjeuner pas terrible (une seule option sucrée pour 4 options salées). Fruits au sirop sur les pancakes, pas bons.
• Philipp (8/5): Schöne Anlage am Meer - Super schöne Anlage mit vielen Palmen. Je nach Zimmer Kategorie schläft man direkt am Stromgenerator. Dieser ist sehr laut. In unserem Zimmer, war die Lampe sehr schwach, weshalb es abends sehr dunkel war. Liegt relativ weit außerhalb, ohne Taxi schwer was zu unternehmen.

Bedding and towels very comfy and facilities are very good. Management is also very responsive and they immediately sorted a minor issue we had. Food is good too

• Graça (3/5): Beau séjour sauf pour la chambre ça ne vaut pas le prix - La tranquillité du site et de la plage, les excellents restaurants ainsi que le personnel chaleureux. La chambre en général, pas d’air climatisé, manque de circulation de l’air, moustiquaire brisé. Salle de bain désuète.
• Manuel (9/5): Una perla Guajira - Me pareció un excelente alojamiento. El servicio muy bueno, la comida está bien. Lo que más me gustó es que no hay ruido ni música ni tv. Creo que el restaurante debería ofrecer opciones de especialidades típicas de La Guajira.
• KARINA (8/5): Un lugar lindo para desconectar - Las instalaciones son muy lindas, todo muy limpio y lleno de detalles. Es tranquilo, perfecto para desconectar. Esperábamos otra cosa de la playa. Nos apena que no sea nada fácil caminar, es casi una carrera de obstáculos. Bajar a la playa desde el sector de parasoles es todo un trámite y uno corre el riesgo de lastimarse. Tal vez sea información importante para cierto tipo de viajeros y para que puedan proveer de unas gradas o una pequeña rampa. De resto, la comida en el hotel es aceptable pero nada del otro mundo, y cara, casi como en un restaurante gourmet. Es muy común que no haya alguna de las opciones que se ofrecen.

• Sandra patricia (8/5): Relax - Como pase mi cumpleaños el desayuno de este día fue muy especial y en general la atención de las personas Creo que para mejorar un poco la limpieza de las escaleras a la playa y la limpieza de los adoquines a cada habitación sería bueno en la mañana que se barran para pasar al área de desayuno .mi habitación sumeia no tenía ventanas se sentía un poco claustrofobia. Ya que solo había luz natural en el baño .
