- Shannon (9/5): Everything you need in a vacay home but still under a bit of construction, did not affect our stay. - Beautiful home! So much to do and occupy us during our week! We stayed outdoors almost the entire length of our stay enjoying the covered outdoor area with lights and fans and firepit! We enjoyed the pool, sand volleyball, basketball and mini golf! A true vacation home for everyone, young and old, to enjoy. Minutes from the beach, in good traffic. The entire garage was under major construction, 2-foot-deep hole approximately 4 feet x 2 foot. Metal rods sticking out of the unfinished concrete floor and electrical wires hanging off walls. Could be very dangerous for children. On the side of the house lots of construction tools and supplies covered in tarps. This should definitely be fixed and in my opinion, should not be rented until it is fixed. I have photos and it was shocking, at least lock the garage door to prevent anyone from entering. Also, the house just needs a little love, maybe a property manager to fix small things like the toilet paper holders falling off the walls. The bath towels are so thin and rough, nice towels would elevate the house to the next level. In addition, the hand soap and body soap were the same liquid soap. One hand dispenser would not work, I opened it up and the internal tube was just missing. When we alerted the hosts about the kitchen sink being clogged, when we first arrived, the reply was "it was working this morning." Well, we just arrived. A bit rude. Then I messaged the hosts about the internet being down, nine of us had no wifi, and the reply was, "This is not true, we can see it remotely and it is working." So I was a bit shocked. The maintenance man came to fix the sink and found the internet router behind a bed was indeed unplugged. The maintenance man was amazing! Much nicer than the hosts for sure. After this, it seemed like a different host was communicating because the tone was much nicer. Overall great home, when the construction is finished.
