- J Le Rossignol (10/5): Fabulous manoir & location. Lovely staff, wonderful room with view of the grounds & excellent b/fast -

- Katy (10/5): - A fabulous place, so quiet and peaceful.
The man running it was excellent and very helpful.
Great breakfast, comfy beds
- Benno (10/5): - Der Ort liegt an
- Andrew (8/5): Lovely character property - Excellent location Breakfast not enough tables laid
Had to wait to prepare ,buffet most items running out and not replenished both days had to ask

- Claudio Emilio (8/5): -
- Jane (10/5): - Fabulous.
- Dominique (10/5): Magnifique séjour dans un lieu exceptionnel -
- Werner (10/5): -
- Anna (10/5): - Un maniero isolato con giardino e accoglienti salotti. La moquette vecchia in camera.
- Giuseppe (8/5): - Location bellissima , colazione un po’ basica
- Marco (9/5): -
Gewoon zalig! Niets was hen teveel! Niets
- Amelie (9/5): -
- Roberto (9/5): -
- nathalie (9/5): - Très bon accueil. Lieu très agréable alliant calme et confort.
- Thierry (9/5): -
Locatie was top!
- Oliver (7/5): Nice old building, needs a bit of TLC nice staff good location - Lose to the marina where I was working decent parking breakfast was enjoyable Lots of slightly noisy wildlife in the lake had the window open a bit and could hear them
- Maria Rosa (10/5): - Luogo incantevole
- William (8/5): Very good - Charming manoir just outside of lovely town of La Foret Fouesnant on the south coast of Brittany. Lovely location, great recreations (swimming, sailing etc)
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Lynne (10/5): A beautiful place to stay - A beautiful building with gorgeous furniture and grounds. We would definitely stay again if we return to Brittany. A very good breakfast, private parking and a courteous welcome from the owner.
- Charles (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christopher (8/5): Very good - Lovely old building. Bedroom was nice and comfortable. Breakfast room and lounge were nicely appointed. Breakfast was good. There was no restaurant for an evening meal. This is a Hotel and should provide a restaurant. If the owner does not have a chef, then it should be listed as a Chamber d'Hote, ie a B&B!!
- Debby (10/5): Exceptional - Absolutely beautiful spot to stay. Peaceful, well maintained grounds, with the lovely sound of ducks! The staff were lovely. We did not eat anything, but did see a beautiful breakfast laid out. (We are not breakfast people!) The bed was firm, but oh so comfortable. Clarins toiletries added to thr feeling of luxury! There was a wonderful old world charm to the whole place. We loved it. Could not fault anything.
- Ronald (10/5): Historic charm - Such a wonderful atmosphere and a charming setting. The manor is set in such a tranquil area and is surrounded by beautiful gardens, ponds and fields. Our host was very friendly and ensured our stay was relaxed. Breakfasts were wonderful and there was no expectation to rush.
- Annie (10/5): Beautiful classic French style & hospitality. - We loved the setting, the house is beautiful in traditional French style. The location is a good walk to La Foret. Our host was perfect. The breakfasts were lovely set in the dining room over looking the lakes. The perfect accommodation to relax in. For us it was perfect.❤️
- Bruno (10/5): - Tres bonne nuit au calme
- Andrej (10/5): The castle by the small lake. - Excellent for those who like castels.4 Everything fine.
- Ann (1/5): It was not a pleasant place to stay. The heat was a problem, but screens on the windows would have - The manoir is run down. There are no screens in the windows and each evening my room was full of moths. Carpet dirty. Towels not changed. Breakfast mediocre. There should have been fans. The owner was unpleasant. Resisted helping me with my suitcase. Not helpful. The property needed sprucing up
- Mike (5/5): Disappointing as interior did not match the impressive exterior. - Impressive exterior Unsecured parking. Very tired decor. No TV. NoAC. Very limited complimentary tray. Uncomfortable seating in room. Had great difficulty locating the property. Directions should be positioned on roads in the locality. Postcode not helpful with sat at.
- Catherine (10/5): This is the type of property I find ideal. - Unique property. Lovely grounds. Beautiful views. Lovely staff. Great breakfast. Somewhat inconvenient access to any restaurants. Property does offer a charcuterie board.
- Heather (10/5): Relaxing atmosphere, beautiful setting, family owner run, worth a visit - Beautiful peaceful setting, helpful friendly owner with a good sense of humour
- Eeva (10/5): - A gorgeous old manor house in the countryside. We had a car, it was necessary due to the rural location, but you don't have to drive far to get to a nice beach on the seaside and a nearby town. Comfortable beds, spacy rooms, beautiful dining room, great views. Recommend!
- Jean (9/5): Superb -
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jan (8/5): Very good -
- Shai (7/5): Good - Beautiful property albeit old and smells at times.
Host is extremely friendly. Renovation is over due.
- Anthony (6/5): Okay - The outside of the building is very quaint and the setting is lovely. After you leave the beautiful central staircase you enter through a plain fire door into a corridor that looked like a student halls.
Not great if you want good internet.
We did not like being asked to pay on check out even though we had paid up front.
- Stephen (6/5): it’s in a lovely part of the world but once the novelty of staying in an old Manor is over it’s overpriced for what you - lovely old Manor House is nice grounds very basic amenities. room was comfortable but no frills.
- Paul (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (10/5): Very enjoyable stay - recommended. -
- Jill (7/5): Good - Location and garden. Being able to eat on a terrace. Pleasant and helpful staff. Toilet in bedroom, no TV or radio, breakfast lacked imagination and choice of produce, very little choice of meats, bread, eggs, cheese. The gardens are a little neglected lots of weeds in the terrace borders. Service very pleasant though. The room was in need of an update. Decor very tired.
- Gary (8/5): The tranquil Manoir du Stang was the perfect location for a relaxing holiday - It’s a beautiful building. the grounds are lovely.
We enjoyed our morning coffee on the terrace overlooking the lake.
Pretty villages and beaches are only a short drive away The old floorboards are very creaky, you can hear everyone walking around
Nothing within walking distance, needed the car.
- Agustin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Julien (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Dominique (8/5): Very good - a beautiful manoir in a quiet setting.
- Nathalie (8/5): Calme et reposant - Bon accueil et hôte sympathique. Environnement nature reposant.
- Marc (8/5): Superb! - Very quite and far away from any traffic. Lovely manoir and friendly host
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Relaxing environment and very peaceful. Hubert is a most gracious host.
- Shirley (10/5): Beautiful Manor House - A relaxing opportunity to escape from the modern world.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Bucolic beauty. - Walking into the bedroom with my lover and looking out through the windows onto the beautiful expanse of water and towering trees, was breathtaking! We loved every bit of it.
- Verified traveler (8/5): Off the main road, peaceful. - Very quiet, comfortable and clean, breakfast served but no dinner.
- Robert (8/5): Charming, well-run hotel in a historical manor - The hotel is part of a stately old manor house attractively situated at the end of a tree-lined drive nears the beach resorts of the south (Riviera) cost of Brittany. The owner and hotelier, the eighth generation owner of the property, is a charming and knowledgable host who has maintained the traditions of the property while running a charming hotel. Off the beaten path a bit, it is worth seeking out for a getaway weekend or a site conveniently located to Quimper and the beach towns of south Finistere. I would rated the hotel at 5, except that the bed mattress was so hard that sleep was difficult. After four nights there, the escape to a softer mattress was a great relief.
- Hughes (10/5): A magical place - We were welcomed by the owner and taken on a tour of the Manoir. Our room was on the third floor in the tower, it was spacious and decorated like a private home.
We had ample time to explore the gorgeous grounds before heading out to a restaurant suggested at our request by the owner. Breakfast in the morning was served in the lovely dining room of this historic property : all in all a memorable overnight stay
- James (10/5): Ideal bolt hole - This is a perfect place for a quick getaway. Relaxed but attentive staff and a generally laid back feel with good resources made this a very enjoyable few days. Food and wine is locally sourced with pride and the place is just the right size for a balance of privacy and comfort.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Beautiful and historical chateau - The Chateau was beautiful as well as the grounds. It is located very conveniently to surrounding sights.
