• Carole (10/5): Fun, friendly and comfortable accommodation. Highly recommend. - We left this morning, very sad. Eight nights of the most comfortable accommodation. Incredibly reasonable price and excellent value. But the true gem of this place are the hosts. Wayne and Ange have been incredibly friendly, generous and informative. We loved our bougie shack in Coffin Bay. Close to everything and we had some delightful walks each day. Local restaurants were amazing and all the locals were friendly and kind. It felt like home. Truly, the most amazing bed, a great kitchen and excellent shower. Coffin Bay is far away from where we live but worth the journey, we loved the emus and kangaroos calling in to say hello, the beautiful birds and the briny taste of superb oysters. The value for money is exceptional and we felt like we were truly living the beach life. Highly recommend. We didn’t like leaving!

Wayne and Ange made there stay very welcoming.. and on the day they left Wayne gave them some sites to see as they made there way to Streaky Bay .. So thankyou u both for being amazing people.. nothing
• John (10/5): Polly’s is a bit different, but a very comfortable place to stay in a good location. - Excellent unit, extremely well equipped and very comfortable. The unit is full of interesting items from a bygone era which decorate the premises, inside and out. The bathroom was modern and well equipped with washing machine etc. A The grounds are very well maintained. Wayne, the host was most helpful and provided advice on how the make the most of our stay.

Property hosts, Wayne and Ange are very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable of the Coffin Bay Area. When I return to Coffin Bay I will definitely stay here again. Everything is done with great taste, and every detail feels special and brings joy. The house was spotlessly clean, perfectly prepared, and incredibly comfortable. The hosts are amazing — very kind, welcoming, and attentive, making us feel truly at home from the very first moment. We had a perfect, relaxing stay and even the most colorful dreams 😊 The only regret is that we had just one day and had to leave. Everything has been considered from towels to music on arrival. Highly recommend, an exceptional stay in a stunning little town. Loved the oysters at HQ a short walk and highly recommend the Oyster Trail a lovely path following the water. Loved this place and Pollys made it.

• Jennifer (10/5): - Polly's Place had everything we needed amongst a beautiful private garden setting, complete with goldfish pond and highly patronised bird feeder utilised by a wide range of local customers! The decor was of added interest and jogged a few memories while whiling away some time over a relaxed cuppa'. The welcoming touches were much appreciated as was Wayne's assistance in oyster purchasing and places to visit while continuing on with our drive to Streaky Bay. The bread was great Wayne! The bread and butter in the fridge with cereal for breakfast was great as well have been travelling since 1st November and only stayed one for two nights at different places so didn’t buy any groceries. Your provisions meant we could have breakfast before we left which we appreciated. What a beautiful place you have, just wished we could have stayed longer. There is nothing we didn’t like

• Pippa (10/5): What can I say - we loved everything about this property! - Loved the amount of space, how well fitted out it was, the HUGE bed, the original decor, the bird feeder outside the kitchen window, the privacy, and Wayne’s friendly welcome and assistance. In fact, in a month of travelling around Victoria and South Australia it was our favourite property. Nothing - we loved it all.

Couldn't have asked for any better. Honestly wish we lived closer so we could be more frequent return guests. Highly recommend!

The bungalow was clean and absolutely stunning in the garden. Wake up in the morning with birds feeding on the bird feeder. Kangaroos and emus wandering around. Our hosts were fabulous and very informative. There is no stove, but there is a microwave and airfryer so plenty of options.

This stay was remarkable, showcasing the host's meticulous attention to detail and unique creativity. The garden was beautifully arranged, and the room was equipped with everything one might need—even thoughtful extras beyond expectations. The fish pond and bird feeding station added an extra touch of charm. The cleanliness and comfort far exceeded most hotels, making me regret not staying longer instead of spending time at disappointing accommodations in Port Lincoln. The host was courteous and hospitable—highly recommended!

• Peter (10/5): A tranquil, exceptionally appointed little paradise away from home. - Polly’s Retreat is a gorgeous little property with everything you could need. There is a humongous comfy bed, couch and big TV in one room, and a well appointed little kitchen. Not hotplates, but there is a BBQ, an air frier, microwave, rice cooker, coffee machine, toaster, and the usual crockery and cutlery. Bottled water is provided for the kettle and coffee machine. Not only are the makings of a continental breakfast provided, but a basket of complimentary snacks and treats as well. There is a washing machine, huge shower and amazing soap and shampoo and conditioner pump bottles. The garden is fabulous, with a little fishpond out one kitchen window and a lovely bird feeder attracting all the local bird life out another. So peaceful and tranquil. The hosts Wayne and Ange were absolutely lovely - so helpful, without in any way being intrusive. They really know how to stock a lovely place to stay away from home, and we’re ready to help out if there was anything we needed (which we didn’t). Nothing!
