Guest Reviews
- Kate (10/5): Exceptional -
- John (5/5): Location is fab. Great deli opposite and sourdough bakery a few doors down from that - Brilliant location and beautiful sitting room Needs an electric kettle - that one is dangerous and also full of limescale. Need to fix the fridge door shelf - impossible to have a bottle of wine upright in it. Fix the shower fitting in the bathroom. Shower also needs a wall shelf for shampoo etc. You need a toilet roll holder either on the wall or self standing. Fix the chandelier in the sitting room so you don’t have to bend down to the ground to plug it in. Be good to know where the nearest recycling is.
- Dean (9/5): Rome apartment - Location is excellent. So close to the Colosseum. Beautiful furniture in the apartment. Great cafe directly opposite. Very narrow kitchen.
- Ruth (8/5): Very good -
- Anthony (1/5): Never again. We had to buy our own toilet paper and soap - Location Trying to collect my key, on Sunday night, I said to my g/f, we may have to stay in a hotel tonight. The key delivery system was appalling.
- Ann (10/5): A unique and comfortable apartment with very friendly and helpful management - The location is very central and we know the area well and are fond of it. There are good restaurants within walking distance and lots of nice independent shops, including the one remaining lovely old fashioned friendly grocers/greengrocers. The apartment is warm and comfortable, there are two big sofas and the bedroom is quiet. It is tastefully decorated with vintage furniture and interesting pictures, much nicer than the usual wall-to-wall IKEA. Claire is absolutely lovely, very welcoming and helpful. When booking we had a problem with the bank and the agency was understanding and helpful
Very close to Cavour metro station and Termini main station None of the kitchen knives were sharp enough to chop vegetables efficiently
- Ellen (10/5): We had a wonderful time. - Beautiful large living room. Nice bedroom. Was warm but a fan was provided. Fantastic location. . . steps from the Colosseum. Lots of shopping, restaurants and groceries nearby. Bathroom was difficult to maneuver as it was small. Shower had mold. Three flights of stairs was hard with luggage and bad knees.
- Kim (8/5): We had a great time staying. The value for money was amazing and Andrea was such a wonderful help. - The location was fantastic. Some street noise.
- Vanessa (9/5): Fantastic location - Very comfortable apartment and great location. Had everything you needed. Not really a negative just note that it is listed as 2 single beds and 2 sofa beds. Our 2 single beds were made up as one bed. When booking make sure you advise them how you want them configured.
- Hoofkantoor (8/5): Very good -
- Sue (8/5): A good value for the price and a great place if you want a real Roman living experience. - We booked this apartment to have a true Roman experience, living as real Romans do. Loved the apartment and its decor, and the kitchen facilities, including the washing machine. Andrea was a great host - he was both informative and very responsive and helpful before and during our stay. Plenty of room for luggage and clothing in the bedroom. The location is great for access to restaurants, cafes, and attractions. We knew the apartment did not have air conditioning when we booked, but underestimated how hot Rome would be in early September. Fans helped but were not enough to make it easy to sleep. The property would be ideal with the addition of a small air conditioner in the bedroom.
- Vanessa (9/5): Superb - The location was excellent. The decor in the apartment felt homely and authentic.Loved the fact that there was a washing machine in the apartment. There was no aircon and we would have preferred softer pillows on the bed.
- Trish (10/5): great area fab bars and restaurants 5 min walk from Colosseum - the location
- Lorraine (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ann (9/5): Very helpful host, beautifully furnished apartment, super clean, good value for central Rome - Perfect location which we already knew very well There is a bright light outside the bedroom at night and the blind was not big enough or dark enough to cut it out
- Louwrens (9/5): Superb -
- Petrovska (10/5): Everything was like described, and location is great - Location is perfect. Apartment is big, cozy, and clean. Claire was our host and she was really lovely and helpful
- Quan (8/5): Very good -
- Luisa (9/5): Great city trip in Rome in perfect location - Beautiful apartment in perfect location! The street is full of little restaurants and bars, very close to colosseum. Loved our stay, the classical interior and art details and the kind hospitality by the management of the Apartment. They even sent a map of places to eat and other recommendations. Felt very cared for! Grazie! Of course it’s an older building, so don’t expect modern interior. Unfortunately we had no warm water but wasn’t a big deal in summer. We had to bring our rubbish to the road which was a bit odd:D
- Luke (10/5): Exceptional - Great location! Nicolas was very helpful and accommodating
- Kinga (10/5): Exceptional - Location, nice owner 👍🏻
- Salome (10/5): Wonderful time in Monti. In front of the door there’s a wonderful vineria, the piazza for breakfas… - The availability of Nicolò always asking if we were ok or need something. I forgot a trouser and they put it aside for to collect later. The flat has interesting antiques who give a very "family" sensation.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb - Nicholas was exceptional from start to finish. I booked this stay for my parents and he went out of his way to make sure that they were well taken care of, including carrying my mum's luggage up the stairs. My parents had no complaints. Thanks Nicholas!
- Murray (9/5): Great value for money, highly recommend this apartment to anyone - Location, location, location
Loved being in the quaint streets with so much activity around
Close to so many historical sites within walking distance in the old city
close to great restaurants and coffee shop Nothing
Only one thing is that the microwave door couldn't open
- Shirley (10/5): Beautiful historical apartment with nice taste looking - The location is excellent. It is located in a historical area, and only takes about 7-8 minutes to the Colosseum, and most historical areas are very close. The signal bed was a little too small, but Italy might only have that small one. The kitchen was small and narrow, but since we didn't really do cooking that was okay.
- Gerald (9/5): Superb - The location especially and the living room. Bathroom and kitchen were cramped but adequate
- Steven (8/5): A special place, feels so Italian - great location, lots of character, quirky, amazing old furniture. It is like going back to a different age. old books and artwork. Genteel sitting room. a little dark, narrow bathroom
