The room was clean with a beautiful view of the bay. Breakfast was delicious. No elevator so it’s a bit of work hiking up 3rd floor, especially with the luggage.

De accommodatie heeft een mooi overdekt dakterras, de gehele dag vrij toegankelijk, waar in de ochtend een gevarieerd ontbijt wordt geserveerd. Op iedere verdieping stond drinkwater ter beschikking. Een aanrader dus.
• Hanako (8/5): - The staff was super friendly and accommodating, they were always willing to help you with your needs. I loved the room with ocean themes, stylish yet cozy, and very clean. It is a 4 story building without an elevator. The staff help you with the suite cases so unless you forget something in the room and go up and down😅 there won’t be much problem!
• Gabriele (8/5): - Die Lage war zum Fährhafen optimal und für die Übernachtung gut geeignet. Das Zimmer war zwar sehr schön und relativ neu, allerdings das Bett schon etwas klein für 2 Erwachsene. Ein Tipp an das Hotel, in so einem Zimmer braucht es wirklich KEINE hohe Badewanne, in die man umständlich einsteigen muss und bei der das Wasser beim Duschen im Badezimmer verteilt wird. Kein Reisender badet, eine schöne Dusche mit ganzer Duschwand wäre platzsparender in so einem kleinen Bad und wesentlich komfortabler.

Oscar nous a commandé un taxi pour aller au Rancho Primicias et nous a donné des conseils pour les activités à faire sur Santa Cruz. Quelques escaliers plutôt serrés donc pas facile avec nos grosses valises.

We stayed in a different place when we first stayed on Santa Cruz and we were sad we discovered this gem only at the end of our trip. I’d recommend this place to all of our friends. No complaints!

Café da amanhã é o do dia e servido a mesa. Deixam snacks como biscoitos e frutas a disposição, o que é muito bom. O quarto dispõe de secador de cabelo. Infelizmente faltou água quente em alguns dias, mas como estava muito calor, isso não foi um problema. A quantidade de escadas também não é confortável para lidar com as malas
• Adam (10/5): - The staff here is truly amazing. They go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need for a pleasant stay. The breakfast on the rooftop terrace every morning was outstanding (with a rotating menu), which is an excellent way to start each day. Rooms are nice and clean. Great location with easy access to restaurants and the main pier. Would happily return. You can book tours here directly, which I would recommend doing as well. You can hear some noise coming from outside (e.g., traffic, dogs), which might be an issue for some people. We were offered earplugs by the staff to help with this, but we slept with noise cancelling headphones which worked well. It wasn't a big problem for us, but it might be for light sleepers.
• Tracy (10/5): We were very comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casa Ocien Pier. Would definitely recommend it and stay ther - Great property! The room was spacious, charmingly decorated, and spotless. The roof terrace was always available and offered a nice place to relax and enjoy breakfast or the complimentary drinks and snacks. The location is very convenient- minutes away from everything a tourist is looking for. Felipe was very friendly and helpful. Nothing really. There was a lot of street noise on the Friday night, but it didn't go too late, and it's the trade off for being so centrally located, so we didn't mind. The other two nights were pretty quiet.
• Kevin (9/5): Excellent hotel and staff only spoiled by barking dog all night!!! - The hotel and staff were lovely…friendly and helpful. We had a great view on the highest room floor overlooking the pier. Spacious room as we booked the triple and very clean. Breakfast was good each day freshly prepared with omelette or scrambled eggs, fresh fruit, coffee etc up on the top floor which is also a nice chill out area anytime after breakfast. Room designs were exactly as pictures and very comfortable overall. Our only issue was a barking dog just over the road which meant we had disturbed sleep every night of our four night stay. On our last night the dog barked incessantly from 2.30am until 5.30am so very frustrating. The owner of the dog clearly doesn’t care or respect anyone else nearby and probably little the hotel can do about it unless there are local noise laws they can investigate? Sadly I fear they will lose business if reviews keep pointing this barking issue out and I would not want that as they’re clearly a hard working and friendly team. It’s such a shame as it did spoil our stay at this lovely hotel. Maybe they could supply earplugs to each room until the dog issue can be resolved?
• Dale (7/5): Casa Ocean Pier is a good option with a few caveats. - Once you enter your room, everything is lovely. It is comfortable and clean, and had everything we needed. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, and the breakfast is fresh and delicious! If was nice to sit on the roof top overlooking the ocean, and enjoy a nice breakfast before getting on with your day. Where the Casa Ocean Pier loses points is first trying to find it. There are no signs indicating where it is and they are not clear about how to find it in their description. It is actually run by an island tour agency. We were wandering up and down the street trying to find it until someone finally poked their head out and asked if we were looking for Casa Ocean Pier. Once we learned that it was actually just rooms next door to the tour agency, and got through the check in process, everything was fine. Because it isn't actually a hotel, they don't have a concierge service available, but Felipe will provide you with his number to communicate through WhatsApp. In regard to the room, it was very difficult to sleep because the street noise, dogs barking, traffic and people coming up and down the stairs is very loud. If you stay here, I would recommend that you ask for a room that is not street side. Finally, if you have mobility issues this is not the place for you. There are a lot of stairs to get to the roof top for breakfast.

You can see the ocean from your room and it is a short 2 minute walk to the pier to head out to the islands. • Leonie Mirjam (7/5): - Schönes Zimmer, sehr sauber, mit Blick auf einen Abschnitt des Hafens (im oberen Stockwerk). Freundliches Personal, das auch gute Tipps zu Ausflügen gab. Sehr gutes Frühstück (kleine Auswahl, aber was da ist, ist lecker). Tee, Kaffe, Früchte und Kekse sind jederzeit inbegriffen. Tolle Lage nur wenige Minuten entfernt vom Fährhafen. Komische Öffnungszeiten der Reception: obwohl ich meine ungefähre Check-out-Zeit vorangekündigt hatte, war um 7:30 niemand da. Zudem wurde mir gesagt, von 12-15 Uhr sei die Reception ebenfalls geschlossen. Sie ist in einem separaten abgeschlossenen Raum, weshalb ich vor meiner Abreise mein Gepäck nicht dort, sondern unbeaufsichtigt im Gang zwischenlagern musste (immerhin nur für Hotelgäste zugänglich, aber trotzdem). Ich nehme an, dass viele Gäste morgendliche Touren machen und nachmittags um 15 Uhr mit der Fähre die Insel verlassen. Bei einem vergleichsweise hohen Zimmerpreis ist die zu so strategischen Zeiten abgeschlossene Reception schlechter Service den Gästen gegenüber. Deswegen aus meiner Sicht nicht adäquates Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Our room had a great view of the ocean and pier as well. The staff was extremely accommodating (even packing us a breakfast when we couldnt make breakfast in the morning). The entire place was extremely clean to boot. The only downside is the neighborhood dogs barking at all hours of the night.

The location was next to the pier so it was easy to get to everywhere we needed to. The staff Felipe, Omar, Stephanie were all very courteous and helpful. Since we had booked a few tours with the same company, we had a very enjoyable experience. They made us feel like family. We will Definitely recommend to friends and family. You have to climb a set of stairs to get your room, however, the architecture was really good, so we didn’t mind the climb. The staff helped us with the luggage so this wasn’t really an issue.

• Santiago (10/5): Ocean pier is a great property at Santa Cruz. This will be our first choice as a place to arrive in Galapagos always - Everything was great! Super location, our host Felipe was always available to accomodate everything we needed, recommend activities, tours, etc Very comfortable room. Lovely terrace with snacks, tea, coffee, books The service girls were very very nice to us and prepared great empanadas! I really cant think on anything we didn’t liked about Ocean Pier. There was a small missunderstanding due to some entry requirements to Galapagos but it was easily solved. If I have to pick a downside, maybe I’ll say the property is 4 storys tall,, so there are quite a few stairs to climb. If you struggle with stairs maybe this wont be the place for you. For me and my wife it wasnt a problem

Establacimos contacto previamente para saber nuestra hora de llegada y nos recomendaron ferry para ir a San Cristobal. Situación muy cerca del Pier y la zona de bares y restaurantes. Habitación comoda y con vistas al Pier. Nos tocó la habitación con vistas, pero eso supone estar en el tercer piso y tocó subir muchas escalearas con el equipaje aunque nos ayudaron con las maletas. Por el resto, muy contentos con nuestra estancia

Felipe and Omar ensured all of our needs were met. Location was a few steps away from a main strip of restaurants and 12 minutes from Charles Darwin center.

No lift but helped with luggage to third floor. No obvious outside sign that property is there but good directions from host to help locate.

El personal muy amable y dispuestos a ayudar y a hacer la estadía lo mejor posible. A tener en cuenta: nuestra habitación estaba en un tercer piso por escalera y el desayuno es en el cuarto piso.
