- Emily (10/5): Relaxing, comfortable space, in a safe and convenient area. - I loved being in this quieter area, but still within easy walking distance of excellent food, shopping, and the airport! The staff was so kind and helpful. It seems quite common in Colombia to provide oy sheets on the bed. I would love a light blanket though, I just sleep better with a little weight. Despite setting the AC in the room to 28 C, I still got chilly in the middle of the night. (Good problems, I know).

- Sylvester (10/5): Small, well kept and clean - Review of De Greiff House Small, well kept and clean Johanna, our host, was tremendous with arranging our trips to Cerro Azul and Raudales Rio Guayabero and keeping us informed. The hostel is small, well kept, clean and offers a kitchen and complimentary water. It is an oasis in this grim town on the outskirts of the Amazon. Johanna is not onsite but at her nearby farm, so you need to ensure you get what you need when she is about. She is available by phone, What’s Ap and email Date of stay: September 2024 - See Similar Review on TripAdvisor Dogs barking at all hours of the night. Did not sleep that well.

- Sasha (7/5): Great place but some misinformation - The house is beautiful and clean. The area was quiet and not too far from downtown. The price seemed good for the area. Responsiveness on the booking.com app. The misinformation. On booking.com it says no deposit necessary. Yet I was later contacted and asked to pay a deposit. I never received the complete information I needed to make the deposit. And it was a bit of a bother to spend extra time coordinating to meet up and pay in cash when we wanted to just enjoy nature. Also, we were guaranteed a no fee late check out then were later charged. I was happy overall my with the facilities but there could have been clearer communication of polices/payment info.

I was able to organise excellent tours, particularly to the rock art Washing machine out of action, though it's possible to hand wash in the sink.

- Michael (9/5): Comfy stay and perfect neighbourhood - Squeaky clean rooms and apartment made us feel comfortable from the 1st minute we entered the property. Linen and towels all fresh. High-pressure shower with pleasant water temperature. A/C working fine. Stay could be flexibly extended. Amazing host sharing tips. Keys easy to access but locks are a little fiddly. Bathroom tiny, but that's typical for Colombia. Hangers in the wardrobe would have been useful.

- Lauragmworld (9/5): Superb - It is super close to the airport and the city center. There is a minimarket close which is pretty useful. The kitchen is available with a comfy fridge. I want ro highlight cleanliness. The price is good and the room was comfortable. For the price this is an excellent option I totally recommended The noise from other bedroom was noticeable and as the room is next to the washing machine the sound was hard. Just cash payment or transfer.

- Mary (8/5): SJ Guaviare Casita - I LOVED this casita. Good location for me. Nice residential area with a short walk to a great burger place and the airport and about 15 minutes to the centro. Comfortable room, well equipped kitchen. I immediately requested a 2nd night after arrival. Very clean. The other room was vacant but would have been easy to share the space. The manager was odd. He enerted the property unannounced. I knew someone was coming over to collet payment, but no knock, no introduction. He also seemed to know that I kept my wine in the freezer, opened it, and asked if he could have a glass. Then he didn't wash his glass. There was also a strange interaction when he forgot that I paid him for 2 nights in cash. I accidentally left town with the bedroom keys but blocked him from communication because he made me uncomfortable. I believe the security cameras are closely watched (it is listed). Women we aware. But with all aside, it is a cute place and would recommend with mindfulness.
