Nos tocó dormir la noche que había fiesta en el pueblo, con una discoteca móvil con música muy alta al lado. Las ventanas no insonorizaban nada. Una pena porque esto empañó nuestra visita.

- Naomi (10/5): Perfect - Beautiful very comfortable room with air conditioning. Location was ideal with common room just outside our door. Parking can be an issue during the busy lunch hour but mellows oit in the afternoon. Wonderful place to stay. Host is also amazing! Nothing. I guess if you don’t want to walk up a few flights of stairs then this location may not be for you, thus no elevator.
- Gillian (10/5): A great stay in a lovely house and idyllic location. - It was an idyllic location. Small walled village. Terri sent us a link for nearest car park. No cars in village all car parks outside wall. Short walk to Manor and Robert met us there. Lovely room with roof terrace. Terri booked restaurants for all 3 nights for us as it was weekend. Robert recommended wine tasting at Fabulista which was great - we were only ones on tour. The underground passages at tourist information were worth seeing as it explained history. Santa Maria church was a good visit. You have to go on guided tour in Spanish but door screen was fantastic and inside church good as well. Lovely alleyways with bars and restaurants. We had breakfast at cafe Velar in the main square which was very good. We had a very relaxing stay for 3 nights and never moved the car. Thank you Terri and Robert for your hospitality. The only thing that could gave improved our stay was access to a fridge. I mentioned this to Terri and she is already sourcing one
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional - Terri was a wonderful host of a lovely property. We had done little planning for our 2 night stay and Terri made suggestions for dinners/activities and made reservations as well. She also gave us recommendations to visit in-town bodegas. We loved the air-conditioned One Wine shop in the square - great option for wine-tasting and super friendly host. Parking isn't available in town so she met us at the parking area and drove us to an available spot (the St John/Paul festival was on so it was quite busy). Overall great stay in a beautiful part of Spain. Our room at the manor house was lovely and had a terrace great for early morning coffees BUT it was directly above Calle Mayor and the noise from the band celebrating the last night of the festival was intense keeping us awake most of the night. My daughter's room at the back was apparently quiet SO if you are staying over the last night of fiesta or when a band is playing in the square, stay in a back room NOT over the street unless you want to be awake all night. No noise on the 2nd night.

- Marit (10/5): Special gem in Laguardia - Terri is an angel and made us an upgrade just because she had the opportunity! We have stayed one night at the Retiro del Obispo, which was excellent both in terms of room, facilities and a super communal kitchen on the top floor with terrace overlooking the vineyards. The next night we spent in the Manor House (our original booking) which is a gem in the Kalea Mayor. Extra space in a big living room, choice of toiletries, coffee maker in the room with many choices of coffee, extra thought for female guests with hair towel, lots of wardrobe space, lovely decor of the room, and bathtub. We have loved both places so much, and cherish the detail and attention Terri and her husband puts into the house as well as the organising part. Thanks to Terri we were able to visit the Bai Gorri winery and have an amaazing lunch with five of their lovely wines (they were fully booked on the internet, but she fixed it). She also helped us rent bikes that took us out in the vineyards. Her suggestion to go to Biazteri for dinner was also very helpful, we loved the food and the ambiance. It is so nice to come to a place which is as nice as in the pictures! We will definitely love to come back! We loved everything.
- Don (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful place to stay right in the heart of the city. There are two car parks close by plus there is a bus stop where you could drop off luggage and passengers just outside one of the main gates. It is a 50 meter walk to the Manor House from the bus stop. The car parks are about 200 meters away which reuire you to walk up a gradual slope. Self-check in with excellent instructions. Everything was excellent. I highly recommend.
- Stehouwer (10/5): Exceptional - We recently stayed at The Manor House in Laguardia. We such a had a wonderful time! The room was cozy, charming, and comfortable and there was a very pleasant common sitting area. Robert and Terri were increadibly kind and helpful and made everything wonderfully relaxing and easy for us! Robert met us at the city gate upon our arrival, escourted us to our place, made sure we had everything we needed and asked what sorts of activities we were interested in during our stay. When we mentioned we were interested in renting bikes, they arranged for 2 gravel bikes, in perfect condition, to be delivered from a neighboring town - along with everything else we needed - at a very reasonable price. This saved us so much time and hassle. They even allwoed us to store the bikes in their garage. We had an incredible ride through the vinyards and along the Ebro river. After asking what type of wine tasting experience we were interested in they recommended some local wineries and set up tastings for us. We had a delightful time touring La Casa Primicia, the oldest winery in Spain. We learned so much and had a delightful tasting in their beautiful tasting room. They also made great recommendations for local restaurants and pintxos bars and made reservations for us when needed. They connected us with the local tourism office and provided suggestions of things to do without being the least bit pushy. The three days we spent in Laguardia were a highlight of our trip. It is a beautiful town\. The Manor House is a lovely place to stay and Robert and Teri showed us such hospitality. Would highly recommend!

Terri contacted us before our arrival, directed us to parking, and met us at the property. The accommodation is very well decorated, clean and comfortable. They have clearly thought about the guest experience and the little touches like the personal bags of toiletries were great. The location is right in the centre of the walled town. Highly recommended.

- Terry (10/5): Laguardia and The Manor House make for a perfect stay. - This property is right in the centre of Laguardia, a medieval walled village surrounded by vineyards. Cars must be left outside the village which adds to the old-world charm as you walk everywhere - nowhere is very far! Breakfast was found in a cafe 2 doors away and restaurants are too numerous to mention. We tried a few and they were very good. Proprietors Terri and Robert were very keen to make our visit memorable and booked us on tours and into restaurants that we would not have found alone. Laguardia has a magical atmosphere that The Manor House complements very well. There was nothing.

Felt very special to be staying there, a great base for exploring the region and a wonderful spot to return to surrounded by the medieval city, Mountain View’s and a plethora of restaurants and bars. Owners very helpful and kind. Rooms very spacious with great showers ! Room can get quite hot … request for extra fan.
