Guest Reviews
- Claire (1/5): Owner not responsive - The worst thing about this stay has been the response and interaction with the host.
During our stay someone broke into the apartment in the middle of the night. This was obviously incredibly distressing, and my family and I did not feel safe staying so found alternative accommodation. I don't blame the owner for this incident, and when I spoke with them about it they were initially very compassionate. However they have since failed to engage in communication with me, and despite initially offering a refund for the nights we did not stay there, I have been informed by Booking.com that they have since withdrawn this. A horrible experience all round.

- Grace (7/5): - Great value compared to other places - good location and easy to access. Clear communication from host for getting in! Very spacious and big beds, nicely decorated and close to public transport. I didn’t think to check if there would be body wash/shampoo/conditioner (there wasn’t) which was a shame as I had to pack light. The curtains in the bedrooms don’t block out the light which can be quite bright, and the pillows were a bit thin and lumpy. But otherwise great!
- Luke (8/5): Good value for money and a good location on the outskirts of the CBD - Good location .. plenty of space in the appartment Toilet needs fixing
- Kevin (8/5): - The location & easy access, plus the host was willing to accommodate certain request. N/A
- rob (10/5): - Great location quiet enjoyed my stay
- Janielle (10/5): Unreal, will definitely return! Thank you! - Host was exceptional and so welcoming and helpful. Will 100% book with them everytime I'm in Melbourne. :) Staircase was a great workout everyday, took us by surprise but ended up being our favourite activity. Location is so central and accessible. Walking distance to the best pub food ever! Only wish there was a stove top/microwave so we could prepare food from home but that is the ONLY thing I can fault from our entire experience.
- Rose (7/5): Overall the stay was good for the one night. - Location was perfect. The property was quite cold and it would have been good to have some extra blankets for the beds.
- Meg (8/5): Very good -
- Veronique (10/5): Perfect location, slept really well but no facilities to self cater for any meals or breakfast. - Very comfortable beds. Very close to where our friend lives. Very clean. Also quiet and spacious. Easy to find keys. The fridge was minuscule. The toilets were broken. No coffee plunger, no toaster. There was no table at normal height. The corridor could accommodate a higher benchtop and high stools to serve as breakfast bar. As a family we don’t necessarily want to go out for breakfast as we all wake up at different times.
- Lauren (10/5): Great for the Family - We loved our stay, the apartment was clean, spacious and easily accessible to lots on Melbourne.
Hannah was very accommodating and flexible, especially when we had a family emergency.
The cold water fountain was an awesome bonus.
The split systems in all bedrooms were fantastic for the late afternoon heat, otherwise the apartment stayed very cool.
The apartment is easy to get to and public transport is very close by
the local 'the retreat' is just a short walk, has the most amazing pub meals.
Definitely will be back again
- Vicki (9/5): Comfortable, central and super convenient - will be back! - Awesome communication with the host and incredibly accommodating. Comfortable spacious rooms. Great location close to terrific pubs and other eateries. Will definitely return and recommend to others. Wifi is a little patchy, particularly in the evening. Not a big deal though.
- Ryan (8/5): Very good - Great customer service when we reported faulty shower Minimal kitchen and not instant tea/coffee
- Quynh (8/5): Very good -
- Knott (7/5): Good -
- Anna (9/5): It was a comfortable stay - plenty of space, great location. - Convenient location, comfortable, very spacious, good value Not enough cutlery (only one spoon), also we ran out of toilet paper.
- Vikki (5/5): Good location, but unorganised and should have been cleaner. - Location is good, place was relaxing and overall good. We did not receive any information about how to get into the property and struggled to get hold of the hosts when we were nearly there which was stressful. We found a giant piece of broken glass on the floor of the living room which could have been very bad if someone had stood on it and there was no way to clean the dishes and utensils, so we had to buy washing up liquid and sponges to wash things in the bathroom sink. This made me doubt they were clean when we arrived. We let the hosts know about the issues and they offered a partial refund which never came.
- Owen (8/5): Very good - Very clean, comfy beds and simple check-in. Great location too!
- Cameron (8/5): Very good - Nice quiet neighbourhood
Big rooms with comfy beds Probably needs a bigger area for a kitchen to cook dinners
Didn’t have the game console
- Sunny (10/5): Awesome place to stay, very comfortable. - Awesome location. Really cute little apartment, with heaps of little bonuses around the place. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay. nothing. was all good.

- Deanne (8/5): If you are looking for space easy train access and a comfortable sleep this one is for you. - We wanted space for our blended family and easy access to the mcg. The direct train line was 5min walk I couldn’t cook there but I could heat up meals and it does have a fridge and cups etc.
