• Sarah (8/5): Lovely older home - Beautiful property comfortable beds overrall great spot to visit The shower was dirty - dirt grime that wasn’t cleaned. Being pick but the tv can be hard to hear as the living room echos.

• Monica (8/5): Nice but not perfect - Liked the location We felt more attention to detail was required. It wasn’t perfectly clean- floors, shower tile grout, inside of drawers, cobwebs could have been cleaner. Bin cupboard didn’t open to touch. No glad wrap or foil, no salt & pepper, no washing powder, no tv subscriptions- just free to air, no barbecue- our feeling is that for $300 a night those details could be expected. Perhaps even a welcome pack- most perceived “ high end” accommodation leave guests a bottle of wine at least- if not more.

• Darren (8/5): we would stay here again as the location was fabulous - great location with many cafe's and short distance to shops and supermarkets the lounge was not very comfortable for persons of our age (unfortunately we found it very uncomfortable)
• Werani Family (7/5): Hui, aber nur auf den ersten Blick - Auf den ersten Blick alles wie auf den Bildern ... ... aber bei genauerem Hinsehen ist es mir ein Rätsel wie diese Unterkunft so gute Bewertungen hat. Der Backofen war do dreckig dass wir Lüften mussten um den Gestank rauszukriegen, das Geschirr/Besteck haben wir komplett vorher durchgespült, Teppich hat wohl länger keinen Staubsauger mehr gesehen, überall tote Insekten, Staub und Spinnweben. Gott sei Dank haben wir nur 1 Nacht gebucht.
• Louise (7/5): - It was very spacious, in a good location, quiet area with comfy beds. The front door stuck on the floor when opening. I couldn’t open the cupboard doors to find the kitchen bin and detergent, so when learning that that’s where they were, I opened them from underneath. Instant coffee and sugar was supplied, as well as green tea but I thought it odd that there was no black tea.

• Karin (10/5): Zu Hause in Geelong. - Gemütliches Haus in einer ruhigen Wohngegend. Fanden es schön, dass man es auch für 2 Nächte buchen konnte. Wir kamen nicht ins Haus. Dachten schon, wir sind zu dumm den Code für die Schlüsselbox einzugeben. Da es erst 20 Uhr war, konnten wir noch anrufen und es stellte sich heraus, dass es der falsche Code war.

Plenty of kitchen utensils - we needed for nothing. Thanks to our hosts. We could not acess the garage. Would of been handy to get the two vehicles we were travelling in off the street.

Stingy ammenities! 5 tea bags for 3 guests for a 4 day stay No body wash in the shower. I thought I remember a bbq in the photo but it wasn’t there. Dangerous Wood pile with nails at the entry of the back car parking. Needs Re stumping I kept feeling like I was on a boat.

• Diane (9/5): Well located in an appealing street with many pleasant front gardens. - The open plan kitchen dining loungeroom had large windows with lots a neat greenery outside, which was very pleasant. The large TV had lots of options. Everything we needed was available, although I did find the cupboard under the sink tricky to open but I can be accessed. The property was quiet. It was scary that the door code that we had been given didn't work and we had to phone the property. Fortunately I was able to access the required phone number on my phone. The call was answered promptly and the new code worked and from then on everything was very good and became excellent when a park in front of the house became available, which I suspect was due to the property owner ingenuity.

• Maryanne (6/5): Overall an OK property with the bathroom very tired & in need of an upgrade. - The location was handy to the centre of town. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom needs a heater & a new basin tap plus new towels. The cleanliness of the dining chairs needs attention as does the cover of the ironing board. The second bedroom could do with a mirror and the chipped kitchen mugs need replacing. Value for money did not equal the overall presentation of the property.

• Bethann (8/5): We’ll equipped house that is close to the Geelong waterfront. - The house was easy to find and parking was available on the street. The kitchen was nicely equipped and the bed was comfortable. There wasn’t a house information book with information like how to log in to the WiFi, restaurant suggestions or a list of recommended sites to visit. It always feels more welcoming when an information book is available and usually it means that the visitor doesn’t have to disturb the host with questions. I had to contact the host for the WiFi information, which they sent without a problem. There was a strange revving noise that came from outside the house day and night. It might have been the neighbor’s heat condenser. The noise became tiresome. At night we closed the bedroom door, which muffled the sound somewhat.
