Guest Reviews
- Ho (4/5): - Historical buildings Almost all the bed in the room is sinking in the middle which is very uncomfortable to sleep. For the first night of our stay, two of our rooms have no air-con remote control , the host sent us two the second day, the air-con is able to turn on but no “ cooling function “ ! It stay at 26-27 degrees Celsius the whole night.
We wouldn’t able to open the windows as there are lot of Noise from the street from vehicles.
Beware of the CLEANING fee! It’s 250 Euro which is higher than the price shown per night. Which I actually overlooked it and only noticed after I pay by credit card. Else I won’t book at this price.
- Gwyn (9/5): excellent - The size and facilities where great The air conditioning or heating, was not suitable for our short stay, during febuary
- Christina (4/5): Disappointing - The house and bathrooms smelt like sewer.
The sheets were dirty
Couches and walls were dirty
- Pummuky (4/5): No volvería - The apartment is big enough to easily accommodate up to 10 people.
There are a total of 4 toilets. When you pay €2,500 per week, you expect much more.
The air conditioning wasn't working properly. We called them, and while they did come to the apartment, not all the units worked—only those in the corridors.
We had to request blankets.
The cleaning needs significant improvement, starting with the oven, pans, floors, bathrooms, etc.
The plumbing requires maintenance to prevent flooding; 2 out of the 4 showers didn't work properly.
The dining chairs are terrible and urgently need to be reupholstered. It seems like the fabric hasn't been changed in 120 years.
The sofas were covered in stains.
And so on.
Definitely not worth the money.
- Brandy (1/5): AC never worked - The location The AC never worked! Blanket had vomit on it.
- Cynthia (8/5): Very good -
- Vanessa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mario (6/5): Pleasant - IT isn’t been cleaned for some time. It has a spirit
- Lazy_man (10/5): Exceptional -
- Glennm06 (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ajay (9/5): Good place. - Aircon
Reasonably good condition.
Beds were nice.
Staff were happy. 30min walk from centre - not a complaint, but just for info purposes.
Excellent place.
- Shimon (8/5): nice apartment for a large family or 2 - no elevator,
- Shaun (4/5): Disappointing - I liked the fact we had the entire family together in one place. Oh boy, where do I even begin with this hotel? If you're looking for a place where the cold air conditioning works like a charm, then let me save you some time and tell you to steer clear of this establishment.
You see, upon check-in, we were assured that the cold air worked perfectly fine in our room. Well, imagine our surprise when we entered and discovered that the room was hotter than a sauna in the Sahara desert. It was like stepping into a tropical rainforest, minus the lush greenery and exotic animals.
Naturally, we called the front desk to report the issue. And guess what? They sent over a technician who seemed to be an expert in everything except properly functioning air conditioning units. It was a comical sight, really. They poked, prodded, and pressed buttons as if they were trying to solve a Rubik's Cube blindfolded.
Eventually, they gave up and left, leaving us to swelter in our sweat-soaked misery. At that point, we knew we had made a grave mistake by choosing this hotel for our stay. But did we bother requesting a refund or talking to management about it? Nah, it simply wasn't worth our precious time. We'd rather suffer through a sleepless, sauna-like night than deal with the headache of explaining this whole debacle to them.
Needless to say, we didn't stick around for a second night. Who in their right mind would willingly subject themselves to a torturous, heat-induced nightmare? We promptly packed our bags, bid farewell to this air conditioning-less paradise, and sought refuge elsewhere.
So, if you're a fan of being drenched in your own perspiration while trying to sleep, then by all means, book a room at this hotel. But if you value your sanity and prefer a climate-controlled environment, I strongly advise you to look elsewhere. Trust me, you'll thank me later.
- Faycal (9/5): Superb -
- Keerthikaran (5/5): Passable -
- Keerthikaran (5/5): Passable - The location of the property was good, and the staff was communicating well. They helped us with the baggage storing when we made a de tour to other Tuscan region. 1. The property does not have a lift. In case you are traveling as a large group with multiple heavy suitcases, this will not suit your needs.
2. The air conditioning was a disaster. The temperature was pre-set to 26 degrees when it was almost the same temperature outside. We did not have the ability to control the room temperature, and it was a nightmare. Every member of our traveling group struggled with this issue, and we did not sleep properly for 2 days.
3. The property was designed to reflect that of a historical palace, however all the set pieces and furniture were sub-standard . Although it did give out the ancient feel, it was not merely as comfortable as it was supposed to be.
4. Broken pieces of the chandelier, very uncomfortable sofa in the halls , bugs & pests, birds flying into the house, all along , the stay was not up to the mark and needs a lot of work.
- Pujarini (5/5): the staff and office were very helpful. wish the house had better facilities - it was big and spacious. we were a party of 12. 6 adults and 6 children. every one had their own space. since we were so many of being together in a big space was perfect the place was big but very dated interiors. the photos look very pretty and historical. however it’s not at all comfortable. the couch chairs bed nothing was comfortable or usable. the air conditioning did not work. we complained but the service was not provided. we stayed there for 5 days.
- Liviu (10/5): Big, clean, close to city center. - Very big apartment, clean, with historical things.. A Little bit dificult to find the adress because is two Numbers 6 (red and blue)..
- Partha (8/5): Very good - Good spacious apartment checkin and checkout process needs to be streamlined
