• Ina (10/5): Very nice place close to downtown - The house was very nice and clean, everything was close by and we really enjoyed the coffee shops and the restaurants. We will be back again!

• Ha Hai (8/5): Book if you prefer a traditional Albanian home near center. - If you work remotely then there is a delegate living room with a door for quiet and the kitchen table. Kitchen was spacious enough to cook. Three couches including armchair and one twin bed for extra guests. Bed was comfy and hotel like. Balcony is cozy and ideal for smokers. Bathroom big enough with functional washer. Wi-Fi is decent and communications with Ela was quick and efficient. Home including furniture and appliances are old but I like it. Traditional Albanian style. Washer is tricky so have host show you at check in. Shower needed curtains but most Albanian showers do not even have. No drying rack so get creative. Heater functional only in bedroom so it can get cool in the kitchen and bathroom but there is a small heater fan to carry around. No elevator and have to climb maybe three floors so not ideal for elderly. Only one of two TVs are said to work but both were hard to configured. Ask host to show you. Short power outage one day but just reset the switches that sit behind the fridge. Location is ok with some cafes near by. You really get a taste of real Albania beyond central Vlore. Just take the taxi for three euros to the beachfront.

• MARK (8/5): Good value apartment very close to Old Town - Nice spacious apartment in good central location 5 minutes walk from the Old Town. Good wifi. Well equipped kitchen, nice shower and safe location. Very friendly host, Ela. Good value. Lots of bars and supermarkets local. Bear in mind it's a couple of miles from the beach, but you can take a regular bus or 40 minute pleasant walk.

• Bledipr (10/5): - The apartment had all the necessary amenities. It was very suitable for a family stay. All shops and supermarkets are nearby (5 min walk at most) and you can find anything available in the market. If you need to take a walk you can go easily also in the city centre and other places of interest. The host is great as well.

• Ks (10/5): A perfect stay near Vlore old town - Ela is a wonderful host, and the apartment is perfect. It comes fully equipped. There's everything you would need. Plates, cookware, washing machine, iron, etc... there is a cute little balcony where I loved to sit in the morning. Very close to old town where there are a lot of restaurants and coffee shops and a supermarket, bakery, fruit and veg shop are also a few minute's walk away. If you arrive or leave by bus, the bus station is also very close. The flat is incredibly clean, smells nice, and I especially loved the soft towels. I didn't like I had to leave so soon.

She replied quickly and she went above and beyond to answer my many questions :) The apartment was a perfect quiet space to work on my college classes with good wifi, right next to the Old Town of Vlorë. The kitchen is nice, as are the bathroom + washer and there are lots of plants, I would definitely stay here again!
• Ian (8/5): Very good - Really comfortable bed! Quiet location just a few minutes from old town of Vlore and bus station. Quiet neighbours. Homely feel to the property with good furniture in all rooms. Very clean. The host Ela and her mother were very friendly and helpful. They met me when I arrived and showed me how to work things in the apartment. Great communication with Ela both before and after I checked in. Some minor problems with fridge freezer and washing machine but I was able to resolve them without too much frustration. I'm happy to recommend this place and would stay here again if I go back to Vlore in the future. Good value for money!!
