• Sabandar (10/5): - I don't think I could recommend a hotel more! Despite only staying for one night, it was probably the highlight of our week-long holiday in Europe. The staff were wonderful, the apartment that we rented was breathtakingly beautiful and the hotel is situated right at the centre of Ærøskøbing. The breakfast was lovely, with staff cooking my son gluten free bread fresh when we mentioned his struggles with gluten. The courtyard was beautiful, and the restaurant offered lovely dinners and drinks. The open top beef sandwich was phenomenal. I cannot recommend this hotel more - particularly if you're staying in an apartment. We hope to come back for longer in the future!

• Art (5/5): Beautiful location and design, but poor service and lack of privacy made it a disappointing stay. - The location was beautiful, the design of the hotel was charming, and the bed was very comfortable. It was extremely noisy, which made it difficult to relax. This was particularly disappointing as it was the night before our wedding, and despite informing the staff, nothing special was done to accommodate us. Some of the staff was also rude not all — one even barged in while my wife was getting ready, which was unacceptable. They didn’t allow us any flexibility with checkout (10am feels far too early), and privacy and heat in the room were also issues.

• Christina (1/5): A A horrible servic - Simple but adequate In the late night, We arrived and encountered a locked office in pitch dark. We called the number posted on the door and no one answered. After traveling 27 hours from US, we were in panic. Later we finally found envelopes laying on the floor half hidden behind a plant. Then, we were painstakingly looking for our rooms in the midnight. Even though I asked them directly about the ferry question, they should have informed me with such an arrangement. Next day, I had to try 3 different times to find some staff working in thenorrice

• Dorothy (10/5): Old-world charm and modern conveniences on a beautiful island. - Gorgeous hotel, filled with both old world charm and modern conveniences. Every single detail was so well thought out and in harmony with the style of the hotel- from the elegant but never stuffy furnishings, to the calm colors and lighting. Even the shampoo and soap smells were lovely. Not a thing. We would stay here again, anytime. The staff were all warm and helpful.

• Barbara (10/5): Lovely place to stay - The pictures on booking .com did not do justice to the apartment. It was large with a separate kitchen and dining area with a spacious lounge. The decor was lovely and in keeping with the beautiful 17th century town. Breakfast was included with homemade bread and jams . The owner and staff were extremely helpful. Everywhere was within easy reach including a netto supermarket for shopping. Nothing

Lovely location, lovely inn. Could have used more of a lounge chair or seating area in the apartment, but not a big issue at all. Only ones at the restaurant for dinner and it closed at 7, so we went earlier than normal. Would have liked to have learned more about other options in the town.

• Susan (9/5): Wonderful weekend treat - Lovely location within easy walking to the harbour and shops. Apartment rooms are delightful very cosy and a seating area in the back courtyard, great for al fresco lunch. Breakfast was delicious, lots of fruit, cheese, cold meats, yoghurt, bacon and eggs, tea or coffee, bread and croissants. Was lovely sitting looking out on the square. Staff were great and very helpful. Nice lunch and evening menu too with a good choice of wine and beers.

• Thomas (10/5): Exceptional - Very friendly owner and staff made our stay an amazing experience. Excellent breakfast. Room was big enough and had all amenities needed. Bed and chairs were very comfortable. The hotel also has a very good restaurant. Hotel is at the main square in Aeroskobing. Nothing to dislike really. If one has to find something then that the bathroom is quite small and the main mirror is hanging behind the bathroom door. Aero can be cold in autumn so better take a pajama. The room is directly under the roof so you can hear a strong wind and when it's raining.

Gunnar checked us in and was extremely helpful and kind. The room was very clean and comfortable.  they hotel location was great, not far from the fairy yet close to many restaurants and stores Breakfast was excellent.

Perfect location to wander the old streets and rent bikes. Cute Whiskey/wine/beer garden directly across. Breakfast was abundant, healthy and delicious. Highly recommend. Easy walk from the Ferry.
• Maria (9/5): Pa Torvet was a most delightful place for us! - Brunch—Perfect for us! Good coffee, cocoa, lovely fresh fruit, nice egg and bacon “muffins,” hearty oats&yogurt with jams. Staff— made time to help us with a doorlock instruction, good conversation about local places, and even some news about the royals! Luggage stored for us. Thank you, Katrine and Des! Our private outdoor seating area for enjoying sunrises & sunsets on our sweer little deck. Very quiet! The charming church bells nextdoor helped us keep track of time during the night. Comfortable beds! And room coffee and fridge— so helpful! Fantastic location right on the town torvet (square) & close to our relatives. Perhaps i should have taken more time to learn how to work the beautiful, Grohe showers because I think it was my fault that my shower was mostly cold. My husband just mentioned his shower turned cold quickly, so we are not sure what happened.

The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful with directions, recommendations, and anything else we needed. Breakfast was quite good. Free parking nearby. View of the courtyard from the window was peaceful. The location was superb. We did hear some movement in the room upstairs. This is a very small quibble.

• Andrea (9/5): Fantastic apartment right in the center of town - The apartment was great. Spacious and at an excellent location. The parking lot nearby had an EV charger which was very convenient. The kitchen equipment was very minimal. Not one single knife. I was lucky to bring knives and other tools from home. A toaster would have been nice too.

I loved the location very central everything, my family and I stayed in one of the apartments and eve was very clean, my wife’s love the classic look and how comfortable everything was

No face tissue in the bathroom, no information about anything on arrival Staff could have been a bit more informative. It was the end of their season and soon would be closing for the winter and the only heat in the 3 room apartment was in the bedroom. Would not want to stay there when the temperature dropped.
