L’entrée à travers le petit supermarché rend l’endroit encore plus charmant et atypique, on adore le concept ! Tout le staff est absolument adorable. Un immense merci à Thor pour son aide, son écoute et toutes ses attentions pendant notre séjour. Il a été incroyablement attentionné et nous a gentiment changé de chambre à cause du bruit de la rue afin que nous soyons plus confortables. Merci aussi au monsieur qui travaille le soir, toujours souriant et accueillant, ainsi qu’à la dame qui prépare les petits déjeuners : ils sont absolument délicieux et faits avec beaucoup de soin. Une adresse chaleureuse, pleine de charme, que nous recommandons les yeux fermés et où nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir lors d’un prochain passage à Hanoi !

• Mingyuan (10/5): Beautiful hotel, hidden gem - Excellent hotel, amazing room and view. The staff is so friendly and welcoming!! Every little detail of this property is beautiful, has that old school charm while being super clean and polished. Don’t let the Circle K entrance fool you…. It’s a hidden gem. The breakfast was delicious too! Would be great if the breakfast area had AC, but the food was delicious so it didn’t matter.

Mr Thor and his team will ensure that you enjoy every single moment of your travel before/during/and after your stay. The room with view on the lake is very beautiful and nicely decorated. The peacefull rooftop offers one of the best view in old town. Everything is clean. Even if the hotel is above a convenience store it wasn’t noisy. All was absolutely PERFECT 😍 One night was too fast 😁

As mentioned, Thor and his team are exceptional, the breakfast was superb, the view from our room across the lake from our balcony was gorgeous. I loved the decor and the location - we were so lucky to have stayed over a weekend when they close the lakeside to traffic which made it much quieter. As mentioned, we stayed Friday and Saturday nights and it was quiet at night as the roads are closed to traffic at weekends - could imagine it may be much noisier at other times but we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

• Jacqueline (10/5): We had a comfortable and lovely first two nights in Hanoi at La Belle Maison, Thor was the best! - We loved the balcony view, the size of the room, the big bed, the room decor, a generous breakfast and the kindness and helpfulness of staff.
• Ronald (10/5): - Location is great. Right in the middle of the Old Quarter. Plenty of eating options and other stuff around. If you're facing the street vs facing the lake, you'll encounter loud music from a store across the street. Fortunately, it stops at around 11pm.
• Ella (9/5): Superb - A really cute hotel, impeccably clean and very helpful staff. The bedding was very comfortable and the balcony was such a sweet addition letting us take in the city. The room itself was super spacious and we loved the beautiful wooden furniture. The staff were so kind, offering recommendations, helping us book a taxi from the airport, and even walking us with our luggage to our pickup point for transport out of Hanoi. A highlight was the breakfast which has a stunning view of the lake and more fruit/pastry options than you know what to do with, as well as a freshly-served main of your choice each morning. I wish the shampoo and body soap offered was a little bit nicer, but it's a minor detail.

• colin (9/5): De nombreux atouts mais pas l'idéal pour une bonne nuit de sommeil - super emplacement ; beau cadre et le personnel était au top ; belle vue pour le petit déjeuner la supérette au rdc (circle k) a une sonnette à l'entrée qui sonne toute les 3 secondes et ce bruit résonne dans les étages du bâtiment ; mauvaise isolation sonore et chambre sur une rue très animée ; on ne peut pas avoir le noir complet dans la chambre à cause des carreaux décoratifs au dessus de la porte d'entrée.

• Kensuke (10/5): 初ベトナム旅行でしたが、最高の時間を過ごせました。 - 建物自体は古いのだと思いますが、内装はとてもおしゃれなアンティーク調であり、綺麗です。エアコンや天井のファンで、外が暑くても快適です。 また、ホアンキエム湖の目の前なので、眺めも良く、賑やかな雰囲気です。旧市街へのアクセスも良く、観光や食事、ちょっとした買い物等にも大変便利です。一階がサークルKなので、飲み物やお菓子も安く買えて便利です。部屋の冷蔵庫に入っている有料の飲み物も安いので、面倒であれば気軽に使えます。 ホアンキエム湖が見える、高い部屋に泊まりましたが、部屋の雰囲気や清潔さ、移動やちょっとした買い物にお金や時間が掛からないことを考えると、結果的にお得だと思います。 スタッフも大変礼儀正しく、誠実に対応していただけました。whatsuppを入れておくと連絡が取りやすいです。 ベトナムに旅行する際には持っていると思いますが、コンセントの変換器は部屋にないので、自分で用意する必要があります。(周りですぐ買えそうですが) あえて言うなら、入り口がサークルKの中にあるので、調べてない場合、見つけにくいことと、コンセントの変換器が必要なことくらいです。また、良いホテルなので激安ホテルを探している方には合わないです。 あとは、周りが賑やかなエリアなので、静かさを 求める人にも合わないと思います。(自分は二泊しましたが、音で嫌な思いをしたことはなかったです。)

Mention spéciale à Thor, qui a été d’une extrême gentillesse, à nous aider avant notre arrivée afin d’arriver dans les meilleurs dispositions, puis qui nous a aidé à organiser les prochaines étapes du voyage avec grand succès car tout s’est passé pour le mieux. Thor parle anglais ce qui nous a fortement aidé et je recommande fortement ce lieu. Nous allons même repasser par Hanoï et ce sera avec très grand plaisir que nous y relogerions. • Luke (10/5): Great location, lovely lake views, and exceptional staff - would definitely recommend. - The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, especially Thor, who was always eager to assist at any moment without being overbearing. The location is excellent, and the view over the lake is beautiful. The rooftop access is a great perk for enjoying a couple of drinks while taking in the scenery. The room was clean, the facilities were all good, and having access to a gym and spa at a partner hotel across the road was a nice bonus. The complimentary breakfast was also very enjoyable, with a wide variety of options and plenty of food.
• Gitte (10/5): - Vi havde fornøjelsen af at bo på dette lille, charmerende hotel med kun 6 værelser, og jeg kan kun anbefale det til alle, der ønsker en unik oplevelse i Hanoi. Hotellets beliggenhed i den gamle bydel er simpelthen perfekt, og udsigten over Hoan Kiem-søen er betagende! Velkomst og atmosfære: Ved ankomsten blev vi mødt med en varm velkomst, komplet med et lækkert frugtfad og forfriskende juice. Det satte virkelig en skøn tone for vores ophold. Værelset: Vores værelse var kæmpestort og komfortabelt, hvilket gjorde det til et ideelt sted at slappe af efter en dag med sightseeing. Udsigten fra værelsets balkon var en af højdepunkterne - herfra kunne man se søen og følge livet på pladsen foran og rund om søen. Personalet: Personalet var utrolig hjælpsomme og venlige. De var altid klar til at assistere med spørgsmål eller anbefalinger til lokale aktiviteter og restauranter. Morgenmad: Morgenmaden var helt fantastisk! Det bedste, vi har fået på vores tur i Vietnam. Vi kunne vælge mellem fire forskellige menuer, der indeholdt alt, hvad vi kunne ønske os Funfact: En sjov detalje ved hotellet er, at man skal gå igennem Cirkel-K butikken for at komme ind. Butikken ligger i stueetagen og første sal, og man skal op ad trappen (der er ingen elevator) for at nå receptionen. Det tilføjer en lille ekstra charme til besøget! Konklusion: Alt i alt var vores ophold på La Bella Maison en uforglemmelig oplevelse. Jeg vil bestemt anbefale dette hotel til alle, der ønsker en hyggelig og autentisk oplevelse i Hanoi. Vi vil helt sikkert vende tilbage!

Niesamowicie uprzejmi, pomocni ze wszystkim, nie tylko w kwestii zakwaterowania, ale całości pobytu, wliczając zwiedzanie, polecenia restauracji i transport.

Le secteur est bruyant certes mais toute la ville l'est. L'hôtel fournit des boules quies.
• Gill (9/5): Hidden gem - Lovely comfy rooms and Thor was very helpful. Breakfast was fantastic 😋 Slightly odd as you access the hotel through the convenience store on the ground floor. Once upstairs you wouldn't know though and the shop was handy to buys drinks and snacks. Slight smell from the sewers, mentioned it to Thor who sorted it for us whilst we were out.

• Patrick (10/5): Fantastic - will be my new default choice when visiting Hanoi - Fantastic location (slightly hidden away though above circle k), the lake view suite I had was fantastic. spacious, very nice interior and design, small balcony with direct lake views where you could sit and just watch and enjoy the hustle and bustle. The breakfast was also very nice. Again, great views from the restaurant down to the lake and the breakfast itself was plenty and very tasty (really enjoyed the à la carte style instead of the usual buffet). Staff was also super friendly and helpful. Having a convenience store in the same building is a plus as well! Will definitely stay here again should I come back to Hanoi. Room (I was in 302) is relatively noise (outside noise) but the staff pointed that out during check in and they do proactively provide you with earplugs. Given the location this was not a surprise to me and I generally didn’t have any issues with this. I guess the higher floor your room is the less noisy it would be but even for me on the third floor (which is the bottom floor of the actual hotel) it was not really a problem.

If you’re considering booking, do it :) - La Belle Maison is in such a great location with beautiful views over the lake. The entrance through the Circle K is so unique and fun, also very convenient. The rooms are so unique and with beautiful furnishings and very comfortable beds. Though located in the heart of the city, it was not as noisy as expected and they provide earplugs in case they’re needed, I did not need them. There is also a great rooftop patio that has incredible views over the whole city with a nice breeze to get a break from the Hanoi heat. Aside from the beauty of the hotel, the service was incredible. Thor was so accommodating with recommendations and assistance with any need we had throughout our stay, he made us a reservation at an incredible restaurant and also booked us a ride to our next location. We lived averaging about our stay! Can’t think of anything negative to say, it was perfect.

The location is very good, right by the lake in the old quarter quarter within walking distance to many of the things we wanted to do. The breakfast was plentiful and pretty good. The bed was so firm that for my husband and I it was actually uncomfortable, we did request an extra duvet to lie on to cushion it, but still both had achey shoulders/backs…we’re 35 not 85 ha. The toilet/shower cubicles in the room are pretty basic and more aligned with a hostel or budget hotel, they sort of drag the room down- I understand why they’re not really pictured in the photos of the rooms. It wasn’t too hard to find the hotel, but you enter through a circle K, which whilst we didn’t mind this, doesn’t really give the upmarket hotel vibe.

• Phung (9/5): Amazing location, exceptional service, and friendly staff. - Prime location to view the lake. The service and staff were excellent. They accommodated us with our luggage, served us fresh fruits and drinks upon arrival, and very friendly. The hotel was located on top of a convenience store, it was confusing to find. No lift, but this isn’t a problem as the staff will assist with carrying your lunges upstairs.

• Constandino (10/5): - This hidden treasure boutique hotel is the only place I would ever stay in when I return to Hanoi. The location is unbeatable (on the north side of Hoan Kiem Lake), the rooms are stylish and modern (with a tasteful and atmospheric colonial design flair) and the fresh breakfast in the rooftop breakfast is delicious and plentiful (there are breakfast menu options to choose from for each day). What really stands out and elevates this hotel to 5 star service are the incredible staff: Thor, Andrew and Louis are such professionals at welcoming guests and instantly making them feel at home. No request was too difficult and they showed kindness, courtesy and attentiveness every moment. Even upon returning to collect our bags after check out we were greeted with water bottles and a taxi booking for our onward journey. Thor and his colleagues are the heart and soul of La Belle Maison and the reason we hope to return one day. Thank you for everything gentlemen! Everything was perfect just the way it is.

• Aisling (10/5): Thank you to Thor and your team for looking after us so well at La Belle Maison! - We had a fantastic stay at La Belle Maison in Hanoi - we cannot fault the service, attentiveness and communication of the staff. As we were celebrating our honeymoon, they went above and beyond to make it truly special, with lovely surprises and meaningful gestures that made our trip unforgettable. The location is perfect for exploring the city - slightly away from the crazy business of the Old Quarter - and our room had an incredible view of Hoam Kiem lake from our balcony which was so special. The hotel facilities were excellent—clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. We highly recommend this hotel to any couple visiting Hanoi for a romantic stay. Nothing !! You enter the hotel via Circle K which can be accessed at both sides of the street. There is no lift to the rooms but the staff are very helpful in bringing cases up to your room :)

Das Personal war super freundlich und hilfsbereit, egal ob es um den Aufenthalt, Aktivitäten oder Transfer ging, es wurde bei allem geholfen. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!
• Basile (10/5): - L’hôtel est très bien placé même si un peu difficile à trouver de prime abord (on y accède par un petit supermarché). La chambre est spacieuse et bien aménagée. La décoration de l’hôtel est soignée et tout est extrêmement propre. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux, faits maison et très bons. Mais ce qui a réellement fait la différence est le personnel et tout particulièrement Thor, responsable de la réception, qui est d’une extrême gentillesse. Toujours disponible pour nous renseigner, nous conseiller et nous aider. Merci encore à lui d’avoir rendu notre séjour à Hanoï si agréable!! :))
• Louise (10/5): Absolute hidden gem in the heart of Hanoi! - Incredible hotel with a high-quality boutique feel, rooms are humongous, clean and beautifully decorated, location is outstanding with views of the city and lake. Breakfast was superb. Staff were flawless - particularly Thor who was kind and attentive. Was genuinely one of me and my partners favourite hotels in whole of Vietnam! Nothing!

They also gave us tons of great recommendations for things to do in Hanoi. It was not clear through the booking that there was no elevator and that we had to enter through a store (circleK) to find the property. Difficult access the first time in.

• Benjamin (9/5): Magnifique chambre dans un bâtiment historique au charme authentique. Vue exceptionnelle sur le lac Hoàn Kiếm. - Très bel établissement, très bien tenu. Le caractère patrimonial du bâtiment a été conservé et mis en valeur, ce qui est très appréciable. Une mention spéciale pour Thor qui a été aux petits soins du début à la fin de notre séjour, un grand merci à lui. Les délicates attentions à notre arrivée et dans notre chambre nous ont touchées. Emplacement idéal et vue exceptionnelle sur le lac Hoàn Kiếm. Rien. Notre chambre était côté lac, avec un certain bruit lié à la circulation inévitable à cet emplacement dans Hanoi. L’hôtel met à disposition des bouchons d’oreille mais nous n’en avons pas eu besoin et avons très bien dormi. Une suggestion d’amélioration : la configuration de la douche et des toilettes dénote, en comparaison au très grand soin apporté à chacun des éléments de la chambre.

No lifts, but we knew that already. Good thing Thor lifted our heavy bags up and down the stairs :) there’s a phone number on the sign out front, just call Thor to the rescue 👍🏻

Our room had a balcony overlooking the lake The breakfast was great, freshly cooked and a mix of everything The hotel starts on the third floor and there is no lift - for us it was fine but just be aware of this.

The morning breakfast was delicious with great options and very filing. Every staff member was very nice and helpful. Thor goes above and beyond to help with any needs you may have. We stayed on the lake side and our room was as quiet as you could hope while still being in the middle of it all. No complaints!
