• Astrid Lorena (10/5): Excelente hotel - El servicio es excelente, fueron muy amables y estuvieron pendientes de nosotros todo el tiempo. La comida deliciosa, a pesar de que el pueblo es frío las habitaciones son muy cálidas. La decoración del lugar y las zonas húmedas son excelentes, la terraza tiene una viste hermosa, la zona de juegos es ideal si uno quiere distraerse un rato con la familia.

Nette Details wie ein Wasserkocher oder Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer für den idealen Start in den Tag, Dartscheibe, Tischtennisplatte, Bademäntel und eine ansprechende Einrichtung. Perfekter und sehr freundlicher Service. Ein insgesamt gut durchdachtes Konzept. Gerne wieder. Kein Aufzug/ nicht barrierefrei. Wobei das zumindest mit dem Kinderwagen kein Problem war, dank des netten Personals.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—nothing was ever too much to ask for, which made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. A special mention to the lady at reception, who went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The hotel is in a great location with a lovely setting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The breakfast was fabulous, with plenty of delicious options to start the day right, and the hotel restaurant was excellent as well. We also enjoyed wonderful massages and made full use of the facilities, which added an extra level of comfort and relaxation to our stay. Overall, a truly memorable experience that we would highly recommend.

• Marco (10/5): Completamente recomendado para disfrutar Monguí - Todo. Es un hotel bonito, casi nuevo o muy bien cuidado. Las personas son muy atentas y siempre con buena energía. La habitación bien aislada del frío e impecable. Caminamos en el páramo y al llegar pudimos disfrutar del spa y de un rico masaje. Los desayunos son deliciosos y muy completos. Solo comimos una noche y también delicioso. Está bien ubicado, cerca de la plaza pero sin ruido. La vista de la habitación es linda. La zona de la sala tiene juegos como dardos, Ping pong, maquinitas, libros, chimenea, tomamos un delicioso cocktail y todo fue agradable. Tienen parqueadero privado en la misma cuadra. Solo hay un detalle y es que por alguna razón cuando es horario de desayuno o cena el olor de la cocina se sube. Solo es cuestión de cerrar rápido la puerta de la habitación cuando uno sale para que no se meta.

Les chambres sont belles, confortables, modernes, le double vitrage apporte insonorisation et conserve une température fraiche mais pas froide. Les repas sont bons. Seule la jeune manager, Nicole, très compétente et efficace, parle anglais. Mais dans l'ensemble, le staff est sympathique et fait de son mieux pour nous aider. L'emplacement de la salle à manger, trop bruyante car au même endroit que le salon de détente (TV et Billard)

• Blanca (10/5): La mejor experiencia en la Noche de Navidad es hospedarse en el Hotel Boutique de San Luis, Monguí. - Fué la decisión perfecta al escoger el Hotel Boutique San Luis, Mongui, para celebrar una Noche Solemne de Navidad con Mami de 92 años, lo que más nos gustó fue su Invaluable Activo, Personal/ Seres Humanos Maravillosos, sin excepción, absolutamente todos, iniciando por su compañera y líder Laurita Peña , con esos deseos de ayudar a que Mami estuviera atendida y confortable. Hasta nos ayudaron a subirla en una hermosa silla a su cuarto. Fue la Reina Madre esa tarde. Las instalaciones y su decoración impecables. Nos sentimos como en las películas Americanas de Christmas 🎄 , la comida deliciosa, excelente presentación, temperatura y con un muy alto control para cuidar y evitar mal gasto y sobre todo de salubridad. El Hotel y su personal sobrepasaron nuestras expectativas. Únicamente vimos, que en el área de la ducha faltaba un par de pasamanos, para ayudar con su estabilidad y seguridad a las personas en general.

• Nelly (10/5): Unfassbar schön! - Und hat ausnahmslos wirklich alles gefallen. Das gesamte Hotel war so gemütlich und schön und hell eingerichtet, inklusive der Zimmer. Im Aufenthaltsraum gibt es zahlreiche Beschäftigungsmöglichkeiten, aber auch einfach ein bequemes Sofa am Kamin. Die Dachterrasse mit Whirlpool konnten wir nicht nutzen, weil es zu kalt war, aber der Blick über den Ort von dort aus war wirklich schön. Beim Frühstück hat sich die Köchin sehr viel Mühe gegeben, die vegane Ernährung unseres Freundes zu berücksichtigen. Wir hätten am Liebsten unsere weiteren Hotels ausgelassen, um unseren Aufenthalt dort zu verlängern. -

Nice showers The so called double beds are too small. For that room size and price there should be king size beds. The food un the restaurant is sub-par. There is lots of room for improvement. We paid for rooms upon reservation with two different credit cards. Both got apparently rejected on prepayment. Never happened before, thus we suspect this is a designed pattern. The staff at the reception was adhering to ridiculous policies without showing any form of common sense or ability to adapt to the situation. We originally got refused to access the hotel since we could not produce birth certificates of our children! Who on earth travels with birth certs with minors whose names are the same as their parents? This policy might be useful in Medellin or Cartagena, where abuse of minors and sex trafficking is happening. But in Mongui, with a family that holds 5 Swiss passports with the same name, all showing entry chops into Colombia at the same day? We tried to argue with reason, but the reception staff did not accept our documents. Only after we had left in anger the manager later called us and apologised for the erratic welcome . If you stick to such a ridiculous policy, you should forewarn your guests BEFORE they book and travel 4 hours from Bogota to get there. And there must be a certain amount of leeway to deal with such a policy, especially if a family so obvious from the same household is arriving at your hotel. Never happened before in decades of traveling. The hotel management needs to get this sorted, otherwise they will get a mass of bad reviews

• Daniel (10/5): The best hotel in Colombia - Mongui is a beautiful town and the paramo and surrounding pueblos are so unique and beautiful. We had a great time at sun Luis. We were made to feel welcome, the staff helped us with anything we required without any problems. They organised a great guide for the paramo (Juan) and were happy to prepare us some food for the hike. I have travelled through hundreds of towns in Colombia over the years , Mongui is my fav and san luis hotel is without doubt the best hotel I have stayed in. You can have a great looking hotel, but without great staff it’s nothing. 10/10 for this hotel. The fact we had to leave 😉

For instance we asked for early breakfast to be able to reach our walking trip without delay. Breakfast was fantastic also. We could not use the hot bath, as it got cold while we got to use it.
