Chaitanya (10/5): Perfect base to explore the city! - 2 bed, 2 bath worked great for a family of four! Had all the essentials from coffee pods, sugar, salt & pepper, to detergent and dishwashwer soap. Most importantly, it was very clean, well-kept and presented. It is about 8-10 min walk from Rundle street and main transport links, but we all enjoyed walking around even though the youngest was only 7yr old. So, if you don't mind a bit of a walk - Adelaide streets are clean, safe and easy to walk onto - then, this could be a perfect base to explore! All of the pillows (there were plenty and even spares) were too hard and thick for my liking! The blanket, too warm! So couldn't really get the best sleep even though the bed was great! And one of the dining chairs was broken (we found it stored in the bedroom wardrobe), so we couldn't all sit together at the table for dinner. Hope they fix this one soon!
Deanna (7/5): Thank you for communication. The price seemed very costly for such a small place. - Proximity to town and gardens. Good communication and attempt to clean place early. Comfortable. Small and average view . Plastic plants. Soap not refilled. Dirty balcony. No milk.
Chez (9/5): The beds were comfortable and the unit was clean enough - Close to where we needed to be As we are from interstate we had no idea there was no parking space with the unit and it was not indicated on the website that there was no free parking in Adelaide. Having to go and move the car every 2 hours around the accommodation was not much fun. Also that there are no flyscreens or doors and we couldn't open the balcony door to let out the heat and let in the fresh air as there was a pidgeon nest with babies on the balcony that wanted to get in every time the door was open.
Kristin (8/5): Zen on Flinders review - The communication with the company was done well: clear and complete. The 2 bed, 2 bath combo was very useful for our purposes, and not so easy to find, so real selling point. The linen was good as was cupboard space. The bathrooms were neat and clean as were the bedrooms. It was a bit surprising that there was nothing in the kitchen, not even a single uht milk, but okay this isn't necessarily a deal breaker. But shops weren't that close or easy to find. The pillows were so ( initially) hard and a bit difficult to sleep on. I think the carpet needs a good clean, as does the shower heads. The fact that the front glass door had a known problem with its handle ( thank you for the warning) but getting that fixed is paramount.
