Guest Reviews
- Lestor (10/5): Nice apartment in quiet neighborhood - Quiet Location: it's a quiet neighborhood, yet just a few minutes' walk to many amenities. It's also near Sensō-ji - you can walk there in the late evening to enjoy the epic view.
Relatively near to train stations: It's about 600m to Inaricho Station, but we prefer the 1.2km walk to Ueno Station, which connects to all the major train lines. Ueno is only two stations away from Akihabara station. You can also take the Hibiya Line from Ueno and switch at Hatchobori to go to Disneyland (all around 30 minutes of work).
Easy access: it's easy to check-in and check-out. Instructions provided by the host were clear and precise.
Washer included: staying for over a week, we needed to wash our clothes on more than one occasion. There's a washer in the room that allowed us to do so, and a laundromat just a minute away (closes at 11pm) that we used for quick drying. Do bring your own laundry bags as it's not provided.
Responsive host: the host answers all query quickly. We initially had issues with our airport taxi booking as we couldn't find the address on Google maps. After checking with the host two weeks before our trip, he reassured us and provided the address that we could use for our booking. Soon after we arrived in Tokyo, we also found that the address could be found on Google maps. Room is slightly small: which is common in Japan, we suppose. It isn't a big issue for us as it could still fit two double beds for our family of 2 adults and 2 kids. Occasionally, we found not much space to put our luggage and had to place all our shopping bags on the sofa
No ramp on lift access: if you have heavy luggage, you'd need to carry them up one step - again, not a big issue for us but in case you need to know
- 炳駿 (8/5): - 附近就有洗衣烘衣店、超市,十分方便,床很大,兩人住很舒服。 隔壁及樓上的居民偶爾會發出聲響,隔音微妙。
- Lois (6/5): It was quite, the bed was comfortable, handy to 7/11 store . - It’s in a nice quiet area, easy walk to train. We didn’t get a bath mat , hand towel or tea towel .

Nada
- Nicole (10/5): - Great host. Responsive and great location Could’ve had instructions for washer/dryer but host guided me to laundry a block away which worked out great.
- Antoine (10/5): - Perfect accomodation near Asakusak and Ueno. Very hard to book always full.m
- Emma (6/5): Ok - The location (although right next to a cemetery!) and the staff - they were very helpful, responding immediately to every question. The kitchen facilities (not enough utensils and pans etc given it is an apartment) and the cleanliness of the kitchen (eg the grill pan was full of fat) and the cleanliness of the balcony where you hang the clothes to dry - it was filthy on the floor so if any washing fell whilst hanging it ended up black and muddy.
- yuuki (10/5): -
- Carina (10/5): Great location, easy to use. Perfect! - Clean, comfortable and practical Nothing
- Kelly (6/5): Accommodation in Ueno close to train station. - Vlean room, comfortable beds & good storage. It had a bath to soak in at the end of the day.
Appreciated the kitchen to cook meals. There were plenty of conbinis and restaurants near the famous kitchen areas of Ueno and fake food. There was a smell of mould around the washing machine. This needs to be addressed asap.
- Carole (9/5): Good apartment for our family stay - We stayed in this apartment twice, at the start and end of our trip around Japan. It has everything we needed for our family of three. The bedroom has sliding doors to close it off from the lounge area. There is a small kitchen with pots, plates, etc, a microwave, grill and hobs and a good sized fridge/freezer. The toilet is the high tech bidet you become accustomed to in Japan! And the bathroom had a good shower and bit bath. The location is good - it was so nice to come back to the calm neighbourhood after spending time in busy areas like Shinjuku. We were able to walk (about 10 mins) to stations and get metros all around the city. There is a Family Mart one block away which we spent a lot of time in! It was the smallest apartment that we stayed at on our trip, but I guess that it is because it is in Tokyo. We were 2 adults + 1 child and had enough space but having 6 adults in this apartment would be so cramped. I would recommend no more than 4 people to be comfortable. We couldn't get the balcony door to lock, but it wasn't an issue as Japan is so safe and it was not on the ground floor. A nice addition would be more space to hang clothes to dry.
- Mellissa (10/5): Soft comfortable big beds. - Comfortable big soft beds, silky smooth sheets, washing machine, kitchen. No space for luggage.
- Andrea (8/5): A great quiet location, close to all the important attractions. - The property was close to the main train station, as well as Asakusa Temple and Kappabashi Street. Great location and a quiet neighbourhood.
The property could update the amenities and refresh with a lick of paint.
- Davide (8/5): Functional flat to sleep 4 near Ueno. - Plenty of space, including storage/luggage space (for Tokyo standards). Definitely a usable flat, not just a sleeping place - however kitchen and bathroom are old and need renovation. Good heating/AC and excellent WiFi. Building is ugly, but safe and quiet. Host is helpful, responding quickly to messages on Booking. Location is less than 10 minutes walk from Metro (Inaricho) and ~15 from Ueno station. Just about walkable with heavy luggage... Kitchen and bathroom seem to be 50+ year old and even if clean look dirty from time and use. Location is hard to find on 'English' Google Maps. It didn't matter for us, but if one of the beds had been left as a sofa (as in the pictures on Booking), it would have made the flat look so much better.
- พิสัยชาญ (10/5): I really enjoyed staying at this place. If I get the chance next time, I will stay here again. - I love everything about this room. The bed is comfortable, there's a washing machine, and I got to use the kitchen. It’s within walking distance of the metro line. Ginza line,On the day of departure, we walked to Ueno Station to catch the Keisei Skyliner back to Narita Airport. The hallway light in front of the room sometimes isn’t turned on even after dark, so I had to use my phone’s flashlight.Since there was road construction in front of the property during my stay, the garbage disposal point was relocated. Apologies for not being able to dispose of my trash properly.
- Samantha (10/5): Location, ease of access and appartment was wonderful, there is so much to do in the area and our host was amazing. We w - It’s compact but has everything we needed
- Wee (8/5): Very good -
- David (9/5): Great location, clean - Location was good, quite at night
- Judy (9/5): We enjoyed staying at the apartment and loved the location. - The location was perfect for us and we really liked the quiet neighborhood. The apartment was spacious by Japan standards and it was clean. We appreciated how the host responded to questions right away. The toilet room had a bad smell so we had to keep that door closed all the time. It was not pleasant using the toilet because of the odor.
- Dion (10/5): Awesome location, central to everything in Tokyo. - Comfortable beds, and great location. Too small, not enough room to fit 6 people.
- Ngoc (8/5): Very good - Such a good place to stay in Tokyo. The price is reasonable, the room is clean and the owner is willing to help. Not even a negative feeling in this hotel! This place is also very near Ueno station and Asakusa subway station, so you can easily go to many famous places in Tokyo from here The room is pretty small, so if you plan to go with a group up to more than 4 people, then you should find a larger place.
