Guest Reviews
- Verónica (3/5): - Smooth and clear check in
Location in a proper bairro It is dirty, floor, bathroom and bedsheets. The walls are very thin, you can hear the other guests
- andre (1/5): Camera degli orrori - Niente Tutto ... tanto che al nostro arrivo ce ne siamo andati ... abbiamo cambiato alloggio per la sporcizia e la camera che non corrispondeva alle foto !
- juan (6/5): -
- Kanyangu (7/5): Good -
- Mandeep (4/5): Disappointing -
- Grzegorz (4/5): Disappointing - very dark, no windows, just a bed and telly. bare minimum. sleep and get out.
- Keith (3/5): Our worst stay on the Camino Portuguese Coastal Route. - It had a bed and we were very tired. Otherwise, we wouldn't have stayed there. Where to start... the apartment appeared to be undergoing renovation, and the photos/description online didn't represent the current state of the apartment. The bed was not cleaned between guests. We found lots of a prior guest's hair on the sheets. GROSS! There was construction dust all over the room, which made it difficult to walk around without getting dirty. There was almost no airflow in the room, which made it hot and stuffy. There was a window in the room, but it was broken. The panes of glass were broken, leaving sharp shards exposed, and the raise/lower mechanism was broken. I had to shove my rolled-up sleep sack under the window to keep it up enough to get even the slightest airflow into the room. Overall, this was our worst stay during our Camino Portuguese Coastal Route experience.
- Liz (6/5): Pleasant - I may be naive but i felt that this place was not worth the money. The photos represent the place 100% so in a way you will not be deceived.
- Danian (6/5): Pleasant - It is well situated around many supermarkets and restaurants. It needs a fair amount of maintenance and renewal.
- Emil (8/5): Very good -
- Maurere (7/5): Good -
- Edward (5/5): Passable -
- Grant (1/5): Did not feel safe - The location is good and it was cheap It did not feel safe. The host isn’t there and the building is under construction. The kitchen is not well-stocked (no cutting board, 2 random cups, 5 spoons of assorted sizes) and there is a camera watching you in the kitchen right above a photo of Jesus. Doors and windows were old. We also were not asked for our passport info, which everywhere else has asked for so I don’t think this is even a fully legal rental. There should be a clear fire escape plan, especially if construction is happening on the stairs. Do not book this. It should not even be on booking.com
- Amine (10/5): Exceptional - I like how clean was the room there and it was in à good place, everything was close by Nothing basically
- Raya (7/5): Good -
- Vladyslav (5/5): Passable -
- Kristaps (8/5): Very good -
- Becir (5/5): Passable - The building in which the apartment is located was under renovation of the staircase and elevator. The apartment is on the 5th floor without an elevator. The apartment looked like it was in an unfinished renovation. The drain in the kitchen is blocked.
- Asli (8/5): Very good -
- Hanno (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (9/5): Handy room in Vigo - The room was quiet and help from the proprietor was first class. Very clean too. It wasn't a problem for me but the corridor and hallway was a building site. Coded entry initially provided was incorrect but proprietor went out of his way to assist once I called him.
I didn't know how to work the shower.
- Nolen (8/5): Very good -
- Olivier (9/5): Superb - Clean and well located No heater it was cold at night
- Una (6/5): Room for improvement. - Has possibilities of self check in, host will help if any issues.
It was ok, and close to another place I had stayed, so it was convenient for me to get in there. The doorcode to the flat didn't work when I tried to get in . But maybe it was because someone had let me in the main entrance.. (Maybe it has to be opened from there, to be 'activaded' somehow?). But the host came and helped me with that, and also with the luggage, to access the flat. A young couple let me in, and they seemed nice both of them. The room itself has a big TV, as others have mentioned, and a bed. There was no source of heating, so I got a bit cold in the night. The code-system, as well as sensors for lighting, and also the blinds, seem quite new, and bathroom seem quite newly refurbished. (There is a little bit smell from the drain, or the backyard, I'm not sure which).
I think it depends on what one looks for. If to visit the city and relax in the evening, with telly, I guess it's ok. There was construction work starting before nine in the morning when I was there. (I put on more clothes.. and then fell asleep again, when got a bit warmer). Why I didn't want to stay any longer. (They seemed to have stopped a bit later; maybe due to the rain?). There is pictured a 'full kitchen'.. but there was no equipment there. No pots or pans or cutlery or even plates. (There was one cup with a spoon in it, but not sure if it was out there on purpose, or left, by maybe a guest? I guess it might be possible to make coffee, but you must bring your own coffee maker. And maybe cups, if you need more than one) There was a fridge, and I believe there was a full oven (not just a stovetop even)
The shower I think was good, with adjustable height, and a bath mat.
I guess this is a new place, and I guess things can be improved with some time. I think that some source of heat for the winter, and maybe some equipment for the kitchen, could be a good start? Camera surveillance. Which is positive and negative.
There is an elevator. But stairs (maybe 13? .. a shorter and a longer) to get there. The host seems
willing to assist on that part if there should be any need though.
