James (4/5): Reasonably clean but dated and smells pretty bad. The checkin / room assignment is a shambles - The location was convenient for me as I was working in offices locally and there is a restaurant below ( not linked to this business). I didnt really like anything else about the place. Online checkin was tedious. Noone at the property to greet me. Information provided about my assigned room and code for key box outside room was inconsistent; the room assigned was already occupied and the key box code opened a keybox for another room...that was also occupied. I had to call the manager and await his arrival to sort out the above. He was polite and helpful but I understand from two other guests there that exactly the same happend to them. Not at all good if you arrive late ! The room that I was originally assigned (that was occupied) didnt smell great. The other room that I could access because my key code opened that rooms key box (that was occupied) also smelt bad. The room that I was finally assigned was sufficiently clean but was dated and smelt like the other rooms I saw. They smelt like teenagers bedrooms ! The manager did email me after the first night to ask if I needed anything but I felt that the problems there were fundamental and not something that he could change overnight. If it wasnt as late as it was and I had transport I would have just walked away from the place. I dont understand how this place can have a Google review "4.6".
