• Robert (1/5): Won’t be back - There was nobody there to let me in and if it was not for total strangers who helped me I would still be there waiting outside. I don’t have or use a mobile phone so as a 73 year old technophobe I would strongly recommend that you take this property OFF your website.

• Mary (5/5): - The place was very clean and neat. The bathtub was very comfortable. The place is well designed and easy to care for. The couch slopes towards the floor so that when you sit there,you have to brace yourself. The mattress was ok, but not great. Motion sensitive lights in the hallway would be a good idea.

• Maria (8/5): Good for a short and cheap stay - The location was great, it was easy to reach the city center. The neighborhood was multicultural, with supermarkets, fast food places, etc., open until late at night. The apartment was clean, but not very comfortable, which is reflected in the low price. The apartment is a bit old, not renovated and you need to keep the windows open all the time to have fresh air. But the price is quite low, so cannot complain.

• Emirosa (6/5): Good spot for a short stay - We stayed here two nights, and it’s not bad for a short visit. The location is fantastic: super easy access to public transport and  very close to the theater, little shops and good places to eat. Really convenient! The room looks fairly clean at first glance, especially the areas in plain sight. But if you look a bit closer, you’ll notice some of the less obvious spots are quite grubby. The balcony looked like a mini tornado had just passed through. And the cutlery? Still dirty, so we stuck to eating out... which was more fun anyway. The entrance to the building could definitely use some love as well. The carpet was dirty and the whole vibe was a bit scruffy. Not the best first impression, but luckily we didn’t spend much time indoors. All in all: good location, the basics are okay, but it could be cleaner and better maintained. Fine for a couple of days, but not particularly comfortable. We'd rate this place a 7 if there had been more than 1 towel per person and if the bathroom and kitchen had been supplied with guest towels and dish towels, respectively. The owner told us to use paper towels instead. I mean, seriously?!

The best part of it all was the location with ev - I liked that the property came with everything you would need for a short stay. It was very clean and an amazing location. The window in the bedroom is permanently blacked out which makes it very dark in the day time. Blind’s or curtains on all windows in the apartment would be nice.

• Lisa (4/5): Needs a new bed and a thorough clean. - It was in a good location for central Walthamstow. The room was at the back of the building and was quiet. The communal stairway to the room was really dirty. The room itself was also dirty, skirting boards, window sills etc. it needs a thorough clean throughout. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was like sleeping on a deflated bouncy castle. There was an ironing board in the kitchenette but no trace of an iron. What is the point in that!

• Craig (10/5): Clean, comfortable spotless value for money - The property was spotless and had everything I needed for a short stay. Communication with the owner was good and as someone who is a light sleeper there was no noise from outside or other properties. I would definitely stay here again. The communal corridor once you enter from the Main Street was a bit off putting but that's no fault of the owner.
