No in person staff available when we were tired and hot from traveling. The shuttle support to airport was believed to be included and ended up being expensive. No breakfast included. Beds not very comfy. They say you get what you pay for but I feel I still overpaid for this stay.

• Serena (5/5): Peli sulle lenzuola, sconsiglio - Posizione centralissima e molto comoda. Struttura e camera arredata con gusto, l’host mi é sembrato cortese e disponibile al telefono. Poteva essere un buon soggiorno se non fosse stato per la pulizia del letto. Avrei accettato un po’ di polvere per terra o sulle mensole ma quando si ritrovano le lenzuola piene di peli maschili é difficile pensare di passare una nottata piacevole. Anche i cuscini andrebbero rivisti ma é un fattore superabile per una notte.

In the end he organised a taxi for us to go to - The badroom was good and it had a good airco which was very needed. The matras moves a lot when the person next to you moves, it was like i was on sea. A good improvement would be id there was a small fridge to store some water in it.

• Helen (8/5): Very good - Location was good, host was responsive, rooms felt secure and were clean and as expected. Air con was very much appreciated! We had a triple room which had a bigger double and a smaller double, rather than a double and one single, so that was nice. The instructions to get in the door to the building were a bit difficult to follow and didn't necessarily work as described. Obviously we managed in the end but it was a bit tricky!

There is a kettle but no cups there was 1 chair at the table , no slippers no house coat the breakfast is at a cafe that is rude and doesn’t want to accept the cards no coffee or anything in the room no fridge the soaps in the shower are just filled with water it is by NO means soundproof we were woken up non stop and early in the morning it is so loud the room next doors shower and toilet was extremely loud and dogs barking constantly the curtains were ripped off when we got there by the previous guest they put them back up but not properly and not both sets so if you need to sleep in good luck it’s really bright the bathroom was full of ants and there was gross sticky stuff spilt all on the side of the bed frame and table dirty hand print on the wall bed is not comfortable we travelled all around Italy and everything was lovely but this one and for the price not worth it.. why is there a even a kettle of you have no cups or anything to offer

• Piotr (8/5): Old city - The room was clean and spacious. The air conditioning was functioning properly. The bathroom was equipped with basic amenities. The best comparison for accessing this room would be the game Let Me Out — though in this case, it’s more like Let Me In. The staff sends instructional videos, and you are expected to locate a box, unlock padlocks, figure out how to operate the elevator, and open a door secured with a combination lock. This experience may be enjoyable for younger guests, but it can be challenging and tiring for older individuals. The room doors could only be opened by a man, as a woman did not have the strength to do so. The streets in the area are very narrow, so if you plan to arrive by car, a small vehicle is highly recommended.

• Maria (7/5): Comfortable bed with fireworks at night. - Nothing bad actually, receptionist Andrea kind and clear with everything. He mentioned the Turist Tax must be paid in cash. Room and bed is amazing, really good shower and breakfast is simple, Italian coffee and Cornetto really good for me maybe for others not so fulfilling but that’s Italy. In general, I had a good stay comfortable room and it has an elevator. At least from the balcony you could hear the noise at night as the location is really central it’s good but the neighbours in the area like restaurants like to party and they have loud music. Last night (18 May 25) was the Napoli soccer game I wasn’t aware about that so it’s was a bit annoying as they threw fireworks almost all night but that’s outside our control it’s the central area of the neighbourhood Spaccanapoli also important to know Napoli streets have cobblestones so a bit difficult for your luggage.
• Joanne (8/5): Great location - Location is excellent and rooms are very comfortable. We were travelling with our two boys and it was great. Very secure property also. The owner was very chatty and nice. We arrived early and our room was ready. It was very hard to find the entrance. There is no sign outside or inside the courtyard. However when we contacted the owner he came down to get us. I personally didn’t like the breakfast, it is a choice between a chocolate or plain croissant and a coffee. There is no safe in the room.

• Lyn (9/5): Superb - Black Woody's was in a great location in the historical centre, close to restaurants and cafes with an easy walk to the train station. Our room was light and very clean with a lovely bathroom. Although it was small, our room had a large terrace attached. It was also great to have a lift as Black Woody's is on the 4th floor. Black Woody was a little hard to find as there is no obvious sign or number out the front of the building. A room number list with buzzers was at the front gate but this was small, to the side and not obvious. As the gate was unlocked, we walked through without noticing the room buzzers and then didn't know where to go. It would be helpful if it was pointed out in the information to look for the room list to the right of the gate and to buzz the owner from there.
• Peter (3/5): Potentially a nice place to stay but ruined by bad communications and poor hosting - The room itself is bigger than expected and modern. The bathroom is excellent and the terrace was good. It was also relatively quiet considering how central the location is. There were two major problems here – the hosting and the host's communication, and the facilities. The communication from the host was appalling and might have even ruined the stay for us. The check-in was needlessly complicated, and we never actually met anyone. We were given five videos/photos (in no particular order) to follow in order to gain entry to the apartment. We knew we were in Room 4, but there were no numbers on the doors. There was no paperwork (house rules or helpful information) in either the room or at the reception desk so everything from thereon was complete guesswork. Reviews on here stated that breakfast was served to each room – this has changed and is now served at a nearby café, but this was not explained to us. After some difficult messaging with the host, we worked out the location (the Google pin she sent took us to the wrong place). When we got there the next morning, we were asked to present our ticket to receive breakfast (a coffee and a croissant), but we were never given a ticket (they gave us the breakfast anyway). The room had no glasses or cups, so we couldn't have a glass of water. When asking about this, the host got very defensive very quickly. Apparently you have to request cups (I've never experienced this before) and she said she would bring us some the next day – but this after our checkout. Because of this, I checked the items listed as Facilities on the site and many were missing. She tried telling us we were wrong about the Facilities listed, despite me having the list in front of me. The room had one chair (in a double room), a kettle but no cups, and no hand towels. We were not given any checkout instructions, so we just left the key on the table the next day. Based on all of this, I would recommend you avoid this place, as it was needlessly stressful and you could spend a lot of time sorting out the administrative inadequacies of the host.

• Nicolas (10/5): Excellent location, nicely renovated - Location is perfect, literally in the centre and easily reachable on foot from the train station (or anywhere else in the centre actually). The rooms are located in a former appartment, on the 4th floor of a very large building, renovated and transformed into rooms/studios. Elevator available, though the huge open staircase is worth the climb, as you immediately feel the Napoli atmosphere throught the inner courtyard and all surroundings appartements. Breakfast takes place in a small bar nearby. Friendly communicaiton and welcome (which is rather rare in Napoli), very good value for money. Beds could be better, but still ok (you can feel the springs of the mattrass)
• Marta (7/5): Ok accommodation, good location, very expensive parking and hard to get to if you have a rental car - We only had one night here as we were off to Puglia the next morning. The flat is right in the Spaccanapoli which was great for an explore and getting food etc. However, if you have a rent car then I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It’s difficult to get to the parking garage because the roads are so narrow and the drivers are crazy! We had a Ford Kuga car and the parking cost is 40 euros for one night which is crazy to me. We were going to stay another night here before our flight home at the end of our stay but decided to cancel, mainly for this reason (there are others below) The bathroom was clean but the flat is a little bit tired, could do with a fresh lick of paint. Unfortunately the bedding - in particularly thee blanket on my sons bed was not perfectly clean, some marks on it and few hairs around which was quite off putting. It states breakfast is included - this is only a croissant from a cafe across the street with really unfriendly staff (but that’s not unusual for Napoli from our experience). There is no indoor seating so we had to sit outside. In April when the weather wasn’t great. The host was friendly and communicated well and answered questions promptly.

Vía forcella has a los of night life and a lot of minimarkets. Central location Near Pizza da Michelle Near metro station Duomo Very safe to walk during the night, a bit dark but no problem at all. Lift is a bit small Breakfast included is provided two blocks away at a cafe and it is a cappuccino and croissant, might be too simple.

• Chloe (6/5): Would recommend for sight seeing in naples - The location was incredible, walking distance to most things. The staff that worked there were super friendly and kind. The room was a little run down in comparison to pictures, thin walls, hairs on bed, empty shower gel/soap bottles provided. One of our biggest problems was opening the door to get in, we really struggled to do this on multiple occasions. Also the hotel was not labelled outside so could be tricky to find. We were out sight seeing majority of the day, so not a massive problem, but if you intended to spend more time in the room I am not sure I would not recommend.

• José (9/5): Nice, warm and well located - Extraordinary location. The service was very cordial and friendly. The room is very spacious, and everything is very clean. Considering how bustling Naples is, it’s as quiet a place as it can be.
• Emilia (10/5): Comfortable and convenient stay in Naples. - Friendly and very accomodating host. The rooms were very spacious and the property felt safe and secure😊 There was nothing we didn’t like. Everything was perfect!

• Viktor (2/5): Hard to find and low standard - Only positive is that it is within old town and you can use the apartment as a waypoint between sights. We couldnt find the apartments because there is no sign on the house, had to call the "guy" to come down for us, the room is nothing compared to the pictures, no rug, no liquid soap, there is a water boiler but no glasses. Previous guests beardhair was all over the washbasin, the bed was very uncomfortable. Walls are paper thin, i was awaken by a toilet flushing beside my head and things put down loudly. There is also a loud washing machine on the corridor. I dont recommend this place.
• Rentia (7/5): Would have prefered a quieter neighborhood - It was nicely renovated and comfortable. The hosts were wonderful and attentive. Our dissatisfaction had more to do with the area than the property itself. The historic area, although highly recommended by many travel blogs, was not for us. It was incredibly noisy and not ideal with small children. Didn’t feel like the safest area, definitely not clean. The room wasn’t very clean, dust and hair all over the floors. The bathroom was tiny for a family of four.
• Jackson (6/5): Comfortable but be mindful of - The room was spacious and looked clean upon entry. The owner of the apartments responds quickly if any issues arise. We didn’t find the property as central as all the other reviews. If you don’t mind the 15-20min walk to the city central then this apartment is fine. Unfortunately the walls/ doors aren’t very soundproof so due to this we could hear everything, we had a very loud family with 2 children screaming and banging our wall quite often - in regards to this we did contact the host and he promptly tried to rectify the issue. On the last night we were here cleaners were sent at 9pm at night and brought their child with them who sat out the front of our door in the hallway and watched videos on full volume, the cleaners were really loud where we had to go out and ask them to quieten down as we were trying to sleep.
• Amir (9/5): Superb - The room was quite good—spacious, with a balcony and a smart TV. It is centrally located, just steps away from the heart of the old town and also close to the main streets and the more modern parts of the city. The location strikes a perfect balance between historic charm and modern convenience. I was traveling with large luggage, and it was quite difficult to reach the apartment using public transport, so I had to take a taxi upon arrival. On the day of departure, I had to leave early, around 6 AM, and unfortunately, I had to walk the entire way with my heavy luggage, which was quite challenging.

• Yuliia (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfortable, clean, renovated room was just what I needed after a long working week. The breakfast was excellent, plus there was a toaster in the room for the sandwich. Valerio was super nice, responded fast whenever I had questions, and even allowed me to leave my bag after the checkout so I could walk around Naples light. Highly recommend!

• Lee-ann (9/5): In the heart of Naples. close to the station - Clean and quiet, a good sized room with an outdoor patio. Comfortable bed, great bathroom. Fabulous position, being 10 minutes walk to Garibaldi and Centrale train stations.

• Svet (9/5): great one night layover - break fast was minimal, but enough to start the day would have been ideal to have a breakfast room, nook. Rather than eat in your room.

Andrea the hosts is a lovely person who gives you tips and advises for food and main sites, very responsive and always happy to help The WiFi was not properly working and had to hotspotting while there
• Andres (3/5): I would not recommend it with families. On the street i did not feel safe. - To be honest, nothing The bed was full of dust. Breakfast ... very bad. Couple of toasts. Location is terrible.
• Evangelia (10/5): Exceptional - The room was new and very clean. It was comfortable for four people with large beds and a large bathroom. Andriano who was working there was very kind and helpful . The location was great right in the corner of the main street of centro storico and not scary at all at night cause it was a bar with music and people until very late at night next to us . I will come back for sure . Grazie 🇮🇹
