• Sonia (3/5): Not worth it. - For several hours while I was sleeping I could smell cigarette smoking inside the cabin as there was someone smoking nearby (assuming the owners as the main house is the only dwelling close by). It was dark so I didn't go outside to have a look but it was very disturbing not only it woke me up several times but also made me feel uneasy, I didn't have a restful sleep at all.

The cabin was very narrow and small. Had I’d known it was in the front yard of a residence I’d never of booked it.

• Joahne (9/5): We’re very grateful to the owners for sharing their home with us. The place was comfortable, clean, and exactly what we - It was quiet. Really what we needed to recharge. Clean and very cozy and homey feeling. Everything was really good. This was just a random necessity on our part but maybe add kitchen tongs and a pair of scissors for the kitchen utensils?

Perhaps the drive is a little snug but unless you’re a terrible driver not a problem! Free firewood would also be a perk.

Definitely coming back to stay here again Was a bit of a struggle to figure out tv for netflix an so on so had to just use my acc, my laptop wouldn't connect to the internet as per the password so gave up, but all good, just ran with it, no one home when knocked on door so couldn't get help.

Very rare to have such a comfy lounge to sit on in any accommodation these days, so that was a big plus! Excellent communication. The bed was a bit too firm for us so didn't have the best night's sleep. 'Compact' did mean not a lot of room, although that was fine for one night.

• Meredith (9/5): Perfect for our needs - The cabin was immaculately clean. We only stayed for one night, but it had everything you would need for a longer stay. We LOVED the fire pit, we sat in front of it for hours while listening to music. Very relaxing. The coffee provided was good and there were even crackers, bottled water and little chocolates. It was very comfortable.

The unit is set back from the road in beautiful, well tended gardens a short distance from the main house but completely private. The neighborhood is so peaceful with bird song to be heard. The unit is comfortable and so thoughtfully stocked to cater to your needs. The perfect location to explore Mt Tamborine and surrounding areas with a short drive to the village for supplies. Nina and Bob are so lovely, easy to communicate with, and accommodating.

• Pamela (9/5): Quiet and sweet - For the size of the cabin, it had enough room in all aspects. It is a quiet and secluded spot to unwind after a day sightseeing and not too far from everything on the mountain.

Lovely and green, quiet, safe. Good for walks. Instructions clear. Unit was well stocked with kitchen equipement and coffees and a variety of teas. The unit had everything we needed and was perfect for a two night stay. It would have felt cramped for a longer stay as it was quite compact. We would have liked a bit more room to move about in.
