Είχα κλείσει δωμάτιο ανώτερης κατηγορίας με θέα την πόλη. Όμως , αρχικώς μού πρότειναν ένα πολύ όμορφο δωμάτιο με θέα ένα γιαπί…απογοητευτικό. Ζήτησα αλλαγή και μού έδωσαν ένα άλλο δωμάτιο που δεν είχε θέα στην πόλη, αλλά τουλάχιστον έβλεπε σε ένα εσωτερικό χώρο σάν κήπο. Ακόμη είχα ζητήση ηλεκτρονικώς να έχουν κατά την άφιξη στο δωμάτιο ένα μπουκέτο λουλούδια , αλλά κανείς δεν είχε δεί το ημαίηλ μου. Τελικώς ζήτησα από ένα άτομο της υποδοχής να το φροντίσει ώστε να υπάρχει το μπουκέτο στο νέο δωμάτιο. Μού είπε ότι θα το φροντίσει, αλλά τελικώς, τελικώς, πήγα μόνος μου στο ανθοπωλείο του ξενοδοχείου και πήρα μόνος μου το μπουκέτο διότι ήθελα να το προσφέρω στην σύζυγο μου. Μετά βέβαια μού ζήτησαν συγνώμη από την Υποδοχή… Η αλήθεια είναι ότι δεν περίμενα τέτοια έλλειψη συνεννόησης μεταξύ των υπαλλήλων του ξενοδοχείου. Κατά τα άλλα όλα καλά!

The staff had made my bedroom so beautifully and gave me balloons and cake. We was catered for and made very special guests. It was awesome. I was crying as I was so happy and emotional and staff made everything so great..I will love to visit again next year. This was a very luxury experience and so beautifully the staff thought of us. The bed was amazing and comfortable. We had in room dining which was incredible I didn't enjoy the undisclosed fees. If you have. Certain balance you have to pay 200.00 for an accidental fee and they also take a discretionary accommodation fee for 50.00 out of that as well. It isn't known to paying customers that this is optional. I think this needs to be told to customers as this will reflect their actual costs.

- Ranibelle (10/5): - My sister and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Dorchester in London, and it’s safe to say they’ve ruined us for every other hotel in the city. From the moment we arrived, the attention to detail was impeccable. The floral arrangements and art pieces throughout the hotel are stunning — effortless elegance at every turn. But what really stood out was the level of care for our safety. We’d left some expensive jewelry out in the room, and when we returned in the evening, it had been securely locked away. The staff politely asked us to contact security to retrieve it. That’s the kind of precision and discretion you don’t often see, and it speaks volumes about the standards here. A special mention to Tomasso, one of the breakfast waiters. He was incredibly detail-oriented and took genuine care of us, especially handling my sister’s food allergies to a T. Nothing was overlooked, and it made the experience feel both personal and effortless. We won’t be staying anywhere else in London after this. The Dorchester has set the bar far too high.

- Shelly (10/5): Exceptional and expensive all in one stay! - My communications with the hotel via Booking.com were well received and this excellent service continued when we arrived at Paddington and were collected by the driver and the door and reception staff when we arrived at the hotel. We were taken to our rooms one of which i upgraded and they were immaculately presented plus a really special surprise was that the hotel had provided me with some lovely cakes and a bottle of chilled champagne for my birthday. Afternoon tea in the Promenade was amazing but i do feel that ‘service charges’ and ‘tipping’ are best calculated in total at the end of a stay which i know is a method adopted by other London hotels so i did not appreciate the service charge attached to the afternoon tea i felt it was excessive. The hotel pool located in the sister hotel was fantastic we loved our couple of hours in there relaxing. The breakfast in the grill both mornings were exceptional and i would probably choose this option every time i stay at this hotel. I believe that ‘service charges’ and ‘tipping’ should be added or requested at the end of a hotel stay so that the funds are spread between all the staff that have been encountered and not just front of house so i did not appreciate the excessive service charge that was added onto an already expensive afternoon tea. I could not book a massage for myself and the fact that the pool is in a different building to the hotel i was a little disappointed about. The hotel is pricey but you need only to look around and then relish the comfort of the beds to realise where the money goes!

The breakfast saloon and the buffet was closed and the waiters were not taking care properly and some of them were a bit unfriendly . Took long time to take order and so I wasn’t quite happy for the service .

- Hannah (10/5): An amazing staycation! - The staff were amazing and the room spectacular. The rooms were recently renovated and ours was so clean and fresh with a Park view. The breakfast was delicious and you were given several options to choose from. I would highly recommend this Hotel. I cannot wait to go back!

- John (9/5): Perfect birthday weekend. Amazing afternoon tea - Wonderful hotel and lovely food and drinks Sadly not greeted as we arrived at the front by car. Door man on the phone. Ritz and savoy have more of an exciting arrival to make you feel special. The cocktail bar we had to move as air conditioning was right by our table so cold for November.

- GoTravelPath (9/5): A true icon, splendid. - The staff are incredible - they discrete but friendly and chatty if you wish to talk. Very slick. We ate at the hotel restaurants during our stay, and the food was excellent - the Grill especially was fantastic. We really enjoyed the extensive and interesting wine list at the Grill. And I do think the Dorchester probably has the best pastry team of the London icon hotels. The rooms are lovely - just love the colour scheme used in the Dorchester rooms, elegant and peaceful. The wine list in the Grill is superb, so comprehensive. Unfortunately in the Promenade the wine list is suprisingly limited - one can see they are catering more for the afternoon tea brigade (champagne). The Dorchester public spaces (restaurant/bars) are almost too busy - given it is an icon hotel with a constant flow of people coming for afternoon tea, it can feel rather busy. (More than once we got the very last chairs in the bar). As a guest you sometimes wish for a quiet guest-only lounge/bar....one afternoon we actually walked to the Fours Seasons hotel nearby for a quiet drink. Staying in an icon hotel like the Dorchester is fabulous but it does make one appreciate the smaller London boutique hotels (with no afternoon tea brigade) a bit more!

They make you feel very welcome and can’t do enough for you. The food is outstanding and the service is excellent. Special mention for David on the door and Luke & Mikel in the restaurant who go above and beyond to make you very welcome.

- Ahmad (8/5): My view - The hotel was nice and the room was clean comfortable and pleasant to stay in. The location of the hotel is convenient. Thanks to the reception team and special thanks to the young lady looking after the bar near reception (unfortunately I forgot her name) who is from the UK and cycles to work was exceptionally kind, professional and friendly. Dine in and room service teams are great. The breakfast at the Grill was not up to the hotel's standards. I addition the service at the Grill during breakfast was also average. the lady taking orders could have been more friendly and she charged me more ..Im glad I had a look at the bill.. I had breakfast there once and did not return. The gym is ok but should be much be better given the rates we pay!
- mark (8/5): Relaxing hotel - Staff very friendly, room clean bed very comfortable. Breakfast was very expensive for what was provided. Order in advance champagne for the room for when we arrived this was not done and I had to ask for it and so the email to confirm.

We were celebrating my sister’s 30th birthday, and she surprised us with an upgrade to a dream room of a lifetime. It was an unforgettable gesture, and I cannot thank her enough. This was genuinely one of my favorite hotel experiences ever. Everything—from the staff and the service to the food and the attention to detail—was flawless. Thank you, Dorchester, and thank you, Gosia, for making our stay so special. After this experience, I can confidently say that whenever I visit London again, I will only stay at The Dorchester.
