Guest Reviews
- Vincent (10/5): If you don't mind some imperfection, this apartment is still worth every penny twice. - 1) The private terrace with stunning views over the city in all directions. Grab a bottle of wine and enjoy!
2) The apartment was complete. Most important: it had a wine opener. We only had to buy some more toilet paper.
3) There was more space than we needed. A spacious bedroom and a kitchen with a table and chairs.
4) The bed was good. I like them firm. It is not a huge American bed, but wide enough for 2 people. We slept perfectly. Also because there is almost no street noise at that height. Btw. someone mentioned a bad airco. It worked fine when we were there.
5) The electricity wall sockets take both Argentinian 3 point plugs and European 2 point plugs. As a European, i didn't need to bring an adapter.
6) There is wifi.
7) If possible check-in and -out times are flexible. Officially check-in is not before 3 PM, but we could check-in at 1:30 PM. And check-out is not after 11 AM, but we could check-out at 12.
8) Nice neighbourhood with shops, restaurants and corner cafes for breakfast. I didn't mind, but:
1) You have to walk the last 3 floors on stairs.
2) The paintwork is a bit older.
3) The kitchen water tap was a bit problematic. The bathroom tap was fine, so no problem for us.
4) I had to install WhatsApp to communicate about collecting the keys.
5) The final check-in person at the apartment spoke only Spanish. But with hands and feet, and translate on the phone, we managed just fine.
- Geoffrey (9/5): Buenos Aires February 2024 - Great location, views out of windows over Buenos Aires were awesome, shower good, bed good, it had a kitchen with kettle, microwave, fridge. The up stairs private terrace was amazing with 360° over Buenos Aires! The elevator goes up to the 15th floor & stairs to the 18th floor, with bags it's really hard but worth it when you get into the apartment
- Brian (6/5): Needs a little work to become an amazing property - For me, the location was great. Close to everything I needed. Many restaurants in the area and public transportation was close by. Great sushi restaurant two doors down, as well as two corner stores on the street.
Having a kitchen meant being able to buy things and refrigerate them and warm up.
The unit is slightly smaller than looks in the pics, but it is still a good size for a single person or a couple. Much bigger than a hotel room. The bed is maybe a twin size.
There is a 3 story walkup to the unit from the elevator. If you have any fitness level is it not a problem.
Patio Terrace has an amazing view of this very unique city. The bedroom air-conditioner is not working properly. It will cool for 5 minutes and then blow warm air for 20 minutes. It is also very noisy. During the recent heatwave, this was not good. I had to move the bed into the kitchen area (there is an air-conditioner in the kitchen) to be able to sleep at night as the bedroom was about 37C/98.6F. I paid for the 9 nights (36.77 USD/Night) which was a great deal so I managed the heat challenges, but I shouldn't have needed to.
I messaged both the management company and the contact person for 3 days without getting a response. This is not how to run a business. It wasn't until an Argentinian friend of mine wrote to them and complained did they show up to the unit, but did nothing to resolve the issue.
The drapes are not blackout, and several hooks are missing to keep them on the rail. Broken shade on the hallway window.
No shades on the kitchen windows which face the afternoon sun.
I booked for 9 days, was given 1 towel and 1 hand towel. There are no amenities, so you need to bring your own soap, shampoo etc.
This units lists having a sauna. I don't know what they call a sauna, but there isn't one there. The only sauna was the bedroom.
This property, with just a little bit of repair and care could be absolutely amazing. In cooler weather, the air-conditioning/heat problem may not be a big problem but the property management needs to address these issues.
- Ramiro (9/5): Superb - Incredible view and location.
