Guest Reviews
- Maria (10/5): - The most idyllic place Ive been, simply Paradise! The private waterfall was just stunning and made the stay. The house itself was beautifully and lovingly decorated. It has everything you need for a peaceful and enjoyable stay. Highly recommended!
- Keith (10/5): Surrounded by beauty & nature, and a private waterfall, Fairy Falls is peaceful, relaxing & perfect. - As the name suggests, Fairy Falls is just enchanting, a gorgeous place exquisitely furnished and surrounded by lush rainforest. Jacquie is an incredible hostess. One of the best places I've ever stayed. Absolutely nothing could have been better.
- Anne (10/5): Dream in the Fairies land - We liked the tranquil atmosphere, the beautiful surroundings and verandah to relax and enjoy the nature around us.
Perfect for disconnecting.
- adam (9/5): - Quite and relaxing
- Ben (8/5): Gorgeous place tucked away in the forest. Just beautiful - The location was just gorgeous. No sign of civilisation at all.
The outside deck is amazing Unfortunately, there was a lack of seating both indoors and outdoors. There's beds for 4 but outside on the beautiful big deck, aside from the outside table there were just 2 chairs. There's a 2 seater couch outside the master bedroom but it's away from the main outdoor kitchen etc, super heavy and not movable.
Inside there's a 3 seat couch. We fitted the 4 of us but we were crammed in like sardines.
Can I please recommend the owner put in extra seating outside and also one or 2 extra seats inside. They could go under the TV
That's all - I'd definitely stay there again. It's gorgeous
- Caroline (10/5): Magical location even if we didn't run into any fairies. - Incredible location, beautiful house, could have just spent my whole trip on the deck or down at the waterfall. Clothes washing facilities would have been helpful, but understand there were constraints due to generator power.
- Jonathan (9/5): Great spot in the heart of the forest. Well equipped and comfortable house. - This is a fabulous place, right in the heart of the forest. It’s a beautiful building, large rooms and comfortable beds. Kitchen well equipped for self catering. Nothing much. Path to the falls could do with a little bit of cutting back maybe….
- Peter (7/5): - Beautiful setting - right in a world famous locale. Well appointed. No blackout curtains - not everyone wants to wake at dawn on holidays. Not one really snuggly comfortable chair.
- Dawn (10/5): Heaven. - I enjoyed the peace and quiet and the beauty of my surroundings. Very clean and decor lovely. I could not fault it. There was nothing I didn't like xx
- Peter (10/5): - The house is clean, spacious and charming. Very well stocked kitchen, comfortable living quarters and a large deck overlooking the rainforest. Jacquie is a gracious host; she gave us lots of useful tips to help us enjoy the area. This is such a serene and beautiful place! I hope I can return someday.
- Frazer (10/5): Tranquil jungle retreat - This is one of the most special stays we've had- staying right in the middle of the rainforest, falling asleep to jungle sounds, with all the creature comforts you could possibly wish for. Jacquie has put a lot of love and thought into the house, with everything being finished to the highest standards. Also- did we mention the property has a private waterfall and forest walk? Honestly- exceeded expectations in every way (and reality is even better than the photos). We'll hopefully be back here soon. Not being able to stay longer
- Jill (9/5): Relaxing. Short drive to most things - very handy. - We loved the property. Extremely comfortable and loved the deck. The rainforest is so close to the house - stunning. Everything was great.
- Narelle (10/5): A holiday that dreams are made of - Not only was the location absolutely spectacular, but the accommodation and its amenities were brilliant too. Having your very own private waterfall and natural plunge pool just made our stay extra special. Coming from metropolitan Melbourne, it’s not often we get to see a clear night sky like we experienced at Fairy Falls - spectacular! The only thing we didn’t like was leaving!

- Edwin (10/5): This was an exceptional property that was worth every cent. I would have given it a 11 out of 10 score if I had this op - Wonderful location surrounded by rainforest. The property had everything needed for a luxurious stay. Loads of space with tasteful decor. Nothing, it was faultless
- Patrick (10/5): Fairy Falls -Unique and Unforgettable - Unique location, off-grid in Daintree region. Very private, gorgeous rainforest surrounds, with waterfall and natural pool -crystal clear.
Spacious, 2 bedroom s with large living areas, enormous deck, and undercover outdoor eating/BBQ area. Well equipped kitchen and lovely bathrooms.
Very friendly and responsive host. Great recommendations.
Close to all Daintree attractions. Not many evening dining options, but we didn't really want to leave our accommodation, so only a minor quibble.
Plan dinner a bit ahead, and buy supplies in Mossman before you cross the river.

- Mario (10/5): Rainforest paradise in the Daintree. Green and serene the swimming hole and waterfall truly special, this is a memory m - One of the most amazing places. Green, serene, rainforest paradise. Swimming hole and waterfall, wow! Only that I couldn’t stay forever !
- Kaylah (10/5): Enchanting and magical stay - Everything. The private pool; the magical house; every little detail thought of. It was enchanting from start to finish
- Philip (10/5): We had a fabulous stay easy access into Cape Tribulation. - Location was amazing the swimming hole and waterfall at the bottom of the garden was wonderful. Perfect rainforest stay. Just a suggestion to rethink the slippery satin polyester sheets they were very clammy. I know this is really tricky in the rainforest environment. Would a bamboo fibre work as that is a natural fibre that breathes and is lightweight?
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Hall (9/5): Wished we could have stayed longer - Beautiful location in the forest. Very characterful and unusual furniture and decorations. Swimming in the pond. Nothing
- Kimberley (10/5): Amazing! - Being able to swim at the beautiful private waterfall. Such a tranquil location. Kitchen was very well stocked with all the things we needed
- Amanda (10/5): Beautiful paradise - Beautiful paradise in the daintree rainforest that allows you to emerse yourself in nature while in a fantastic and comfortable setting. N/A
- Bob (10/5): A perfect home for a Daintree trip, an immersive experience of the stunning rainforest. - The huge deck and pathway to a private waterfall with swimming area.
- Steven (10/5): Serene location in ancient rainforest with all the creature comforts you could hope for off grid. - Serenity, location, bathrooms, deck, private waterhole
- Alfred (10/5): Exceptional - A real magic place in the rainforest. -
- Christine (7/5): It’s really for 4 people to sleep not 6. - Beautiful home, loved the falls. Very clean , great kitchen with everything in there to cook. In the back bedroom my brother and his wife slept on the floor because the mattress was thin and hard. That made us angry as it’s not a cheap stay. They put the lounge seat on the floor to sleep.
- Gillian (10/5): We had a relaxing and comfortable stay in a wonderful place surrounded by the beauty of the Daintree - There was a great kitchen to prepare our own meals. The location was stunning and peaceful and it was well worth taking the short walk to the beautiful waterfall and rock pool.
- Hannah (10/5): Fantastic, gorgeous location with spacious and private house surrounded by rainforest - Amazing location
- Patricia (10/5): Magical stay in the Daintree - The house, the location and amenities were all fabulous. Jacquie was great at communicating and was reachable whenever we had a question. It is an amazing place to stay! We probably should have brought more food / groceries with us, as supplies are much harder to come by once you cross the river into the Daintree.
- Maureen (10/5): Wonderful! - Staying in the rainforest at The Fairy Falls was a wonderful experience- even when it rained! The house itself is clean, comfortable, well equipped and in a quiet location. There are other houses in the vicinity, but you don't see or hear them at all. It feels as if you are living in the treetops on your own hillside with the enchanting sounds of the birds and forest. The Fairy Falls waterfall/plunge pool is idyllic, though care needed when walking down the path when wet. A great location for exploring what the Daintree Park has to offer - we saw two cassowaries but the tree kangaroo remained elusive!. Everything within the house worked well - including wifi, but Jacqui has contingencies in place should there be any outages. Jacqui is a generous host who responds very quickly to any queries. We would recommend to anyone wanting the rainforest experience - with a few added home conveniences.!
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional - Everything about this place was incredibly beautiful!
Will definitely be booking again sometime soon !
Thank you Jacq
- Tim (10/5): Special accommodation in the the special Daintree Forest - Perfect location within Daintree Rainforest . The accommodation was lovely and having your own plunge pool by the Fairy Falls waterfall was special/unique. Nothing, even in wet season
