- Gregory A (10/5): Incredible!! - Peaceful, serene, secluded and quaint. Horses, ducks, kangaroos, and birds are awesome! The grill was awesome and the grounds were well maintained. Perhaps no hair dryer?
- Tresi (10/5): -
- Russell (10/5): The perfect country get away! - Beautiful property, very comfortable , clean and tidy. The owners have thought of everything!
- Amanda (10/5): Will come again! - Beautiful grounds. Love the horses. Rooms were great. Place was clean and well appointed. Owners were responsive. None
- Chelsea (10/5): -
- Shuqin (10/5): - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Rowley’s Lodge. The surroundings were lovely—from the horses near the gate to the pond in front of the house (with frogs croaking), ducks and geese wandering outside the window and kangaroos behind the house. It felt very peaceful . As we were leaving, our son even asked if we might come back again in the future!
- Michelle (9/5): Heaven in Capel - Glorious location surrounded by horses, ducks and kangaroos bounding around Rails next to the 2 steps up onto the verandah would be very useful for older people.
- Caroline (10/5): Idyllic and quaint country cottage - Stayed 3 nights and Everything was perfect. Comfortable beds. Spotlessly clean and every need was thought of. So Peaceful. Lots of kangaroos about and loved the horses and ducks coming to say hi. Just wish we could have stayed longer
- Solich (10/5): Absolutely wonderful idyllic and comfortable house in a lovely country setting. - Beautiful house, warm welcoming fragrances greeted us, every convenience available. We rallyfelt cared for. Loved all the thoughtful ways the owners considered our needs. House was cold…took a while to work out how to heat it.
- Shelley (10/5): Ducktastic - Everything it’s the best property I’ve stayed in so far It’s not mine 😆

- Kate (10/5): Absolutely blissful getaway!! - We loved everything about our stay! The beautiful cottage, the comfy beds, the new and clean amenities. There was everything we needed for our stay (and so much more!)
We were so comfortable, and absolutely loved waking up to the beautiful scenery, and having a coffee on the verandah while watching the kangaroos jump around the property. We loved it so much that we have rebooked for a few month's time. A very relaxing weekend - We can't wait to return. Nothing
- Serena (9/5): We loved our short stay here. Gorgeously appointed, quiet cottage. - Beautifully renovated cottage. Luxuriously appointed. Horses, kangaroos and birdlife. Lighting in the kitchen was dim. Not enough candles when the power went out and the igniter did not work. Very little water in the dam, which is of course to be expected in March. I imagine it would be stunning after some decent rain.
- Lual (10/5): Exceptional -
- Penny (10/5): Highly recommend, great location to relax and visit Busselton area. - Everything was fabulous! We loved the rural location, the peace and serenity, the beautiful interior decor, and the wildlife. A very special place, well equipped and a joy to stay in. Special mention for the hilarious duck visitors, the inquisitive but shy kangaroos and the gorgeous horses. Couldn’t fault a thing.
- Sharon (10/5): Quiet and modern charming farm stay - Everything, from the quietness to the cleanliness to the modern facilities. Owners have put in great effort to make sure all needs are met. Cannot think of any!
- Shannon (10/5): Exceptional - Peaceful, clean, calm atmosphere.
Home away from home.
- Mark (10/5): Exceptional -
- Phyllis (10/5): Exceptional - Straight out of Country Style. An absolute gem, we loved everything. The attention to detail makes you feel so special. Nothing
- Stephenmj4 (9/5): It was a delightful time to relax unwind and just enjoy and reflect on our life together. - The Location was great quiet and isolated, however only 10 mins from Capel and less than 30 mins from Bunbury, Busselton and multiple wineries, so really as isolated as you can get without actually being isolated.
The house was great, amenities also great, bed was comfortable, my wife love it, while it was a little firm for me. Loved the screening of the bedroom allowing us to have the balcony doors fully open and the fresh air in, lovely. the positioning of the house and the covered verandahs was great even during the one rain storm that occurred, we were able to have doors open and sit outside without getting wet a real plus for us as we love being outside. The only items that could or should be attended too are:
There were a few floor boards on each verandah that were lifting and i caught my thong which caused me to stumble, didn't fall but be a concern for anyone less stable, a small job a few nails and few hours will fix the problem.
Safely and humanly relocate the 2 possums that have found a home behind the chimney stack, they were very cute but can be noisy for some people
- Nicola (10/5): A cosy, comfortable and relaxing stay to get away, slow down and watch the Roos go by - Gorgeous cottage and wonderful location.
Loved the horses and ducks and so close to the beach! Nothing complaints
- Dennis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Justus (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (10/5): Such a pleasure! A chilled place to stay - Quite remote and so many lovely touches. It was a pleasure to stay there, so tranquil. Oh and the wildlife, the birds, the kangaroos, the tame ducks… Nothing
- Steve (9/5): This is a truly a secluded rural retreat! - 1. I love the guitar in the hall. It makes the place feel like home.
2. Fully equipped home. Can cook with ease and do bbq.
3. Complimentary beers, champagne, tit bits, drinking water and many more.
4. Welcoming ducks! Lots of kangaroos and horses.
5. An Old dwelling providing lots of old charm 1. No potable water. But drinking water provided.
2. Have to open gate manually.
3. Dried up lake!
- Nelius (10/5): Comfortable and very relaxing. Loved all the animals and all the extra comforts. - It was very clean and neat with lots of little extra luxuries. Nothing
- Welina (9/5): We loved it! - We enjoyed the tranquility of the place - a quaint cottage with everything you need. We were also greeted with croissants, orange juice and milk plus extras upon arrival. The hosts are also lovely and kind. Our toddler enjoyed watching the horses, duckies and kangaroos hanging around. We enjoyed everything!
- Stanley (9/5): Superb -
- Luka (10/5): Exceptional - Everything required was left in the refrigerator. Unexpected but most welcome. Nothing. Everything was well above expectations.
- Dixie (10/5): Luxury and happiness in a secluded country setting - We loved everything. The house was luxurious, the most amazing sleeps by all in such comfy beds, relaxing with a cuppa watching the kangaroos and those gorgeous ducks waddling up to the shed looking for food 💝 Could not fault this property in any way!! Perfect 🤩
- Tracy (10/5): A beautiful home away from home. A very relaxing stay. - The house felt like a home. Very warm and inviting. A slightly bigger couch for four adults to watch movies would be good.
- Philip (10/5): Spotlessly clean. Very comfortable. Nice quiet location with only the horses & ducks for neighbours -
- Margaret (10/5): Exceptional - Nice clean old farm house with all you need when your away. Nothing.
- Shiv (9/5): Superb -
- Cassam5 (10/5): A place to reconnect my spirit ✨️ - I loved the fact that I was alone but wasn't really, all of Mother Nature's beauty, the wildlife and horses kept me company. The first night the lights went out and it scared the crap out of me 😁 but jokes aside, there was nothing that disappointed me.
