• VANESSA (4/5): DISAPPOINTING - BOOK ELSEWHERE - The views from the property. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY OR USE FREYCINET HOUSES. The photos are not a true representation. It may have great views but it is very over priced and there are clearly maintenance issues. *The water pressure is inadequate. There were six adults staying in this home and it is clearly a problem when there are more than one person showering. *One toilet was blocked during our stay. *In general if someone flushes the toilet upstairs the water in the shower reduces to a trickle. *The mattresses in all bedrooms upstairs are uncomfortable. Having just travelled around Tasmania it was the worst situation we had experienced. Do not expect any reasonable support/solution from Freycinet Houses, they are unethical, unprofessional and will be reported to several agencies/bodies in Tasmania and Booking.com
• Charmaine (7/5): Okay for large groups - Location was lovely as were the views. Would suit a large family or group. For the price I had expected a bit better. A lot of things are dated needing some tlc and update. We have previously stayed at a location not far from this for less and it was more welcoming and comfortable.

• Zoe (8/5): Lovely family oriented place to stay with sea views - Beautiful property with sea views and very comfortable. Layout was good and well equipped kitchen with everything you’d want available for entertaining. Thought has gone into this property to make people feel welcome. Table tennis table was a bonus! I brought attention to the fact wifi did not work, only to be informed they were aware of it and the modem would be replaced. This was not fixed for the entirety of our stay and lack of internet was quite inconvenient, particularly as I will not stay at properties without it. I also have to wonder why I wasn’t informed it wasn’t working and had to enquire about it in the first instance. Minor maintenance issues such loose door handles and I would have to agree with previous reviews as to the water being lukewarm. Not a deal breaker for us but they may need a new hot water system.

• Lee (10/5): My family had a very pleasant stay and they loved the sun rise view so much. - Beautiful environment, spacious, clean and excellent view. Low water pressure.
• Sean (8/5): Very good - Fantastic views! We watched the sunrise and sunset every morning - so nice! And on a clear night, you can see so many stars, and the moonlight shining across the sea water was magic. The kitchen was really well equipped with loads of utensils, and the cooktop was excellent. Combustion heater kept us warm, but we felt it didn't give off as much heat as other combustion heaters. Maybe it wasn't designed well? 🤷‍♂️ The water pressure was terrible. Trying to have a shower was really unpleasant. It also took a while to fill the kettle or wash dishes ☹️

Fire ready to go which was lovely and wood within easy access as needed. The water pressure throughout the property was terrible. Bearable for showers but not great if you wanted to wash your hair!

Would definately book again. Very minor, no rubbish bin in main bathroom. No light in downstairs bathroom. Only mentioning so cleaning staff can correct.
