- Michael Tucker (4/5): Hotel only want money and more - Not a lot. Only the location for use Full English Breakfast was not very full.
Charge twice for Breakfast. ( I am still awaiting refund).
Charged 4 times for upgrade.
Charged a surcharge, do not know why
Charged for car park.
At Breakfast the second day ,seat was very dirty .
At dinner on first night , I requested mash potato and not chips. I was told they did not do mash potatoes. My wife had it with her meal.
Our room had to basins, both leaked.
Sat in chair in reception, it was damaged .
Cleaning of room on first day as poor.
Were not shown to are room on arrival .
On leaving the hotel, I was told there was nothing to pay, 2 days latter I found they I was charged over £300 on my credit card.
There is a lot more but life is to short to list it all.

- Neil (9/5): Great location in Wimbledon and dog friendly - Very dog friendly
- Richard (10/5): Always a lovely stay, has had an upgrade in the last 2 years and it absolutely shines! - The hotel itself is a very well preserved beautiful villa in a lovely park with a good bar, cozy sitting area and very good restaurant. The staff is incredibly accompaniment and sincerely pleasant.
It is walking distance to a quaint village with both high end and affordable shops, diverse choice of restaurants, cafes, a butcher, Italian market and very good green market grocer. A comfortable mix of locals and visitors. Zero
- Julio (7/5): Bien - La bañera es muy incómoda , para entrar y para salir.
Prefería una ducha confortable
- Gerry (10/5): Never disappoints us as we have come back 3 times. Fully relaxing in classic style. Fantastic stay. - Comfortable, classy, beautiful building and environment. Excellent staff, great food. Nothing

- Katarzyna (10/5): Perfect for a city getaway, with a great atmosphere, comfortable rooms, and friendly staff. - The hotel room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The staff was friendly, and the location was convenient. Overall, a pleasant stay. The only thing I didn’t like was that the rooms had names instead of numbers, which was a bit confusing.
- Colleen (10/5): -
- Angela (6/5): Lovely location, friendly staff but definitely needs to be redecorated with new carpets etc it feels very tired and date - The location is excellent and the views to the park are wonderful. The staff are friendly too. It is very dated and in need of decorating, it’s very tired looking. Lots of scratches and marks on the walls and doors etc
- Jan (4/5): Interesting - Wonderful Location I was put in a room above a wedding reception. On return that evening I walked down the corridor to a disco which got even worse in my room. Even turning the tv to full volume didn’t drown out the noise. I attempted to call reception, phone didn’t work.
I went to reception, they, after a fairly lengthy conversation, changed my room saying this was going to be an amazing experience. It was!!!
The room was large with wonderful views.
There it ends, it was dirty, and quite dusty the bathroom was fab but badly cleaned. The fridge didn’t work so everything in there was warm. Cupboards were locked ???? To top it all I found a packet of tablets in the bed from the previous occupant. I say no more ( I have many photos to back this up).
- Peter (8/5): Perfect for a weekend near Wimbledon Village and on the edge of Wimbledon Commin. - Lovely hotel in a beautiful location.

- Mike (10/5): Super friendly staff, amazing food, scenery to die for - Quintessential English. Fantastic orangery, beautiful gardens. Nothing it was perfect
- Sarah (10/5): Fantastic hotel - Our stay was fabulous - the staff were friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast selection was first class and freshly cooked The hotel was rather warm (better than too cold though) and the window limiters didn’t allow for much fresh air. There was air conditioning though so again not really a downside - in fact it’s hard to find something you don’t like about this hotel 😃
- Sarah (10/5): A lovely comfortable stay - Room was booked on behalf of my elderly parents - I requested a ground floor room and they were able to have one. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast at the hotel was superb The room had frosting to the windows. It would have been nice to have had a view, even if limited
- Sven (8/5): -
- Trevor (9/5): A lovely weekend stay, room and facilities excellent albeit a little pricey. Breakfast excellent - Fantastic location Nil
- Virginia (7/5): -
- Hua (9/5): - Room is good location
- Lucy (9/5): -
- Maggie M (10/5): The perfect location for Wimbledon Village and a walk on Wimbledon Common - It is always wonderful to return to my hometown and stay at this hotel. We were given a spacious corner room with a view of the car park (front) and the park (bathroom). The location is perfect for Wimbledon Village shops and cafes, as well as two traditional pubs nearby. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent as always, with a wide range of excellent products. I wished we could have stayed another night!
- Clover (5/5): -
- Paul (8/5): Generally good - one little glitch - There was a mistake over breakfast booking which I had to push to get a compromise resolution Speed of resolution of breakfast booking mistake
- Rebecca (7/5): Convenient and very comfortable! - Great location on the common with easy access and on site parking
Great bar and lounge facilities
Happy staff
Fabulous bed and pillows very comfortable and luxurious!
Beautiful bathroom with great shower and complimentary potions! Bedroom furniture was quite tired and chipped
Paintwork in common areas looked tired
Extra charge for parking
- andrew (1/5): Awful - Nothing Everything
- Javier (10/5): -
- Nicola (9/5): Had a lovely stay - Great location All lovely
- Rob (8/5): Regardless of niggles we had a nice comfortable stay. - Nicely located with lovely views.
Spacious and comfortable suite.
Free wifi easily accessible. As a paying resident in an expensive suite i was shocked to be charged £25.00 parking for an overnight stay.
Few niggles at breakfast , coffee machine run out of beans , no menu on the table after being told there would be , no salt on the table , after being told the table had been specifically set for us.
Tried to charge us £30 upon check out for drinks we didn’t have and having to suffer the embarrassment of having to prove we hadn’t had those drinks.
- Alessandra (5/5): Great building mediocre experience - Great building and view Old and run down furniture and carpet. Dusty and dirty under bed and corner. Ultimately it would need a bit of a restoration and it’s really inconvenient if allergic to dust like I am. Finally service is subpar. Receptionist sent me to the wrong floor which was extremely distressing with all the luggage and the fact rooms don’t have numbers but only names. When asked, 3 different people on the floor didn’t know where the room was. The day of my departure I wanted to have lunch and the waiter was dismissive at best. Ultimately not a 4 star level service at all.
- Jo (7/5): Great location and comfortable for a nights stay - Perfect location for exploring Wimbledon, set back from the main hub. Unexpectedly had to pay an additional fee for parking with a large, mostly empty car park at the front of the hotel, which seemed unnecessary considering the cost of the room. Common areas a bit tired and room incredibly hot even with the radiator off.
- Ruben (10/5): -
- Peter (9/5): Beautifully appointed hotel. We'll be back! - Very nice room looking out onto Wimbledon Common. A checkout time of noon would avoid a rush in the morning
- Paul (9/5): Amazing place and people - The hotel is amazing, and the staff are all great. They upgraded me and still gave me a discount, so polite and helpful.
- Ruben (10/5): -
- Cesar (9/5): Awesome - Building Character Security
- Yevhenii (10/5): -
- Hanna (10/5): Fabulous ❤️ - The location, the facilities, the room, the park and the view are fantastic! It’s perfect
- Klara (8/5): -
- Caroline (10/5): -
- Caroline (9/5): Mooie rustgevende omgeving met lekker eten - Bij het ontbijt kon je eitjes en gerechtjes door de kok laten maken.
Misschien iets meer charcuterie had gemogen bij het ontbijt.
Personeel was super vriendelijk.
- Richard (10/5): Cannizaro Experience - The staff were extremely helpful. The room was very equipped to a high standard with a great view over the park. Breakfast was very good and the poached eggs were perfect on both mornings. The TV picture quality wasn't the best.
- Ruben (8/5): -
- Chris (10/5): -
- Janet (7/5): - Location. Communal areas. Room was very dark
- Louise (9/5): Great staff, quiet and welcoming - Staff were great. It was quiet, clean and comfortable with a lovely view of the park
- Sara (10/5): It was my 60 th Birthday celebration and it was made truly memorable. - Everything it was truly wonderful. N/A

- Janet (10/5): very pleasant and relaxing stay - Location Nothing
- Donna (10/5): - Everything was absolutely perfect, we stayed in the suite which was super comfy & lots of room for our luggage, was lovely enjoying our morning coffee on the balcony with the stunning view, cannot recommend enough, staff were lovely, we will hopefully be back Nothing
- Jennifer (10/5): It was fabulous - Wonderful and comfortable Nothing
- Enrica (8/5): -
- Jacqueline (9/5): Always a pleasure to stay here ... - Breakfast was delicious and always a pleasure to look out over the park.
Dinner was also lovely.
This hotel is our place to stay when we go to London.
- Michael (10/5): -
- Katherine (6/5): Nice location. Staff need to step up. - Location good. Lots of parking too. Originally given small dark room so asked for alternative. Given one but had to pay supplement.
Also staff slow to clear tables at breakfast despite not being busy.
- Stella (9/5): - Great facilities and lovely room.
Ate dinner which was good ( dogs not allowed in the Orangery restaurant but we had a table in the bar area which was fine).
Plenty of parking on site( charges may apply) Thought the charge per night for 2 small dogs was quite high.
- Bart (4/5): Dissappointing - Staff was very unfriendly which made our trip unpleasant. Definitely need more training and coaching How staff treat guests
- Smith (7/5): -
- Martin (9/5): -
- Cristian (10/5): Muy confortable, elegante y relajador. - Todo, el entreno, cuidado y estética, excelente y sofisticado desayuno! Falta Gym
- Nicola (10/5): -
- Alexis (10/5): -
- Clyde (5/5): Location great but pricey with mediocre customer service - Excellent location and very comfortable room Poor value for money given what we paid for the room they levied an extra parking charge plus a hefty charge for breakfast - bringing the total cost to around £300 for a one night stay. Also at these prices I wouldn’t expect to serve myself from a buffet at breakfast!
- Steven (8/5): -
- PIERO (7/5): -
- Tim (10/5): -
- Frances (9/5): Lovely hotel, lovely staff. Would stay again. - Check in was smooth, the bed was very comfortable, the bathroom had a bath (always a bonus), and the restaurant was lovely. I got sent A LOT of emails in advance of my stay, and it was so hot! As a permantently cold person, being hot takes some doing! But I didn't sleep all that well because the room was so hot, despite having a very comfortable bed.
- tighe (10/5): It was a work trip but the hotel - Beautiful hotel with a lovely cosy, warm feel and exentuated by the lovely attentive staff. First stay but not the last!
- Sarah (7/5): Always reliable and relaxed. home away from home - Always reliable - great location and easy to get to etc. Home away from home Breakfast is a little underwhelming given there are so many lovely cafes in Wimbledon Village.
- Paul (10/5): - The whole experience
- Sheila (8/5): Spoilt slightly by the first night in an inappropriate, noisy room but overall it was so good! - I loved the house and the location. The staff were professional and helpful. Our suite for three nights was exceptionally good. The deluxe double room which we had on night one of four. We had booked a first floor room as we have a dog but were put in a second floor room which was possibly at one of the furthest points from the front door. Not ideal if your dog needs to go out in the night. The room was cramped with very noisy water pipes which disturbed us throughout the night. We were upgraded to a first floor suite with very easy access to the entrance for the remaining three nights at a discounted rate. This suite was fabulous, with a beautiful view over the park, huge bed, gorgeous bathroom. Our last three nights were great. We loved it.
- Nadine (10/5): Wunderbar! - Tolles Personal, ruhige Zimmer
- Peter (8/5): Enjoyable stay - Lovely hotel in excellent location Asked for early morning call.
If it was made, neither of us heard it.
- Mackey (9/5): Lovely venue. Perfect location the breakfast was the best I’ve had in years - It was such a lovely stay rooms could do with a little up date but bed was very comfortable The rooms were a bit hot
- Clare (6/5): Nearly right - Staff were excellent - helpful and charming. The receptionist was a bit flaky but other staff stepped in immediately and helped out. Restaurant was good. Good parking. Breakfast delicious. The room was large and had a lovely view over the park. The room smelt faintly of drains and it was far too hot overnight. I couldn’t open the windows and the temp couldn’t be changed - 22C is just too warm.
- Jeanne-Marie (6/5): - Beatutiful location. Comforable bed. The room was fine although if you want a garden view opt for a room on the first floor as the windows on the second are very small and you would have to stand right next to them to get a view of anything other than sky. It was decorated all in sombre brown -no pictures. There was only a shower over a very high sided bath. Some people would struggle to get into the shower but this was not pointed out. Don't stay there if you are gluten free. There was virtually nothing on the breakfast buffet that was gluten free and very limited choice if wanted a cooked breakfast. Opted for scrambled eggs and smoked salmon with toast. The toast was not toasted so sent it back when it was returned the scrambled egg was cold.
- Rachel (9/5): - Beautiful grounds, good spaced rooms and very comfy. Extra choices of coffee None
