Guest Reviews
- Moira (4/5): Not what we were expecting. - The position The stairs. The beds one person slept on the couch. Wifi intermittent. Tv poor stations. Needs upgraded.
- Randy (10/5): Lovely - Excellent location for Sightseeing, Food, and The Tube Nothing
- Mark (9/5): We only stayed one night had a great day out and a good sleep - The location is fantastic and the staff extremely helpful
- Lisova (10/5): -
- Alison (8/5): Perfect location and a great experience - loved it! - Perfect location, lovely boat - a memorable experience! We all loved it ❤️ the wood burning stove was a treat and the fairy lights across the deck added to the magic! The crockery, glasses and cutlery were poor / mismatched and very few glasses, dirty mugs and cutlery and strange collection of plates and bowls. The freezer was full of other people’s food. You have to hand wash everything as understandably there’s no space for a dishwasher but there was no plug or washing up bowl - small gripes and easily sorted I’m sure. We would definitely stay again!

- Katherine (8/5): Excellent time - The door lock wasn’t working when we arrived. We had to call Aaron to have him repair it while we were at dinner.
- Andy (10/5): Perfect central location - Great location and facilities Nothing
- Martin (10/5): Belle découverte de Londres insolite - Localisation top
Très calme
Insolite Rien
- Anna (10/5): -
- Nicola (8/5): - The location was excellent and the kitchen was good and lounge was comfortable. The rope that ties us to the dock was very loud at night.

- Jacob (6/5): - At det var en båd De havde brugt alt alt alt for meget skyllemiddel i sengetøjet så vi blev nød til at overnatte et andet sted den sidste aften.
- Koen (9/5): We had 4 day stay with 4 people. Location perfect to explore London and the barge was such a comfy cozy place to come ba - - location both close to touristic center and at same time the beautiful marina dotted with restaurants.
- coziness of the barge, incl wood stove
- staff allowing early check and late check out Nothing we did not like
- Antoine (9/5): Very original stay - Location is really perfect, the boat itself is really great, and quite large. It's a very calm location for London.
Heating is efficient.
But above all, it's really an experience to stay in such an original place.
We showed the place to friends from London who didn't even know there were docks next to Tower bridge.

- Diman (9/5): Wonderful alternative accommodation in the heart of London - Great location near Tower bridge, interesting alternative to the classic hotels.
The barge/ boat is spacious, has fully equipped kitchen and bathroom. The two bedrooms are ideal for families with kids.
The highlight was the deck where we enjoyed the morning coffee!!! Love it Nothing in particular. Our stay at the boat was close I perfect

- valerie (9/5): Unique and quaint place to stay in London - Unique accommodations in a very quiet area close to tube station and groceries and restaurants. It was fully equipped for cooking which was nice. The beds were comfy enough and the space was super cozy. Ladder going down to living area might be difficult for those with impaired mobility (so probably not good if you have that). Not an issue for us though. It can get quite warm during the summer (during the day) but they supply fans. You can feel the boat away a bit but this is obv expected .
Maybe some drying racks for towels would be nice
- David (10/5): - Check-in process with a "greeter" was very helpful. The boat was spacious, well furnished and clean. Beds were comfortable. My granddaughter was thrilled with her private cabin at the stern. The washer & dryer were useful and worked well. Gated access to dock enhanced security and privacy. Reasonably short walk to Tower Hill Station. Several decent restaurants and a grocery store nearby. Owner was accessible and responsive when a question arose. Our stay coincided with one of London's "rare" heat waves. While the weather is clearly beyond the control of the host, temperatures in the boat were very warm during the day and cooled slowly during the evening. We spent most of our day and early evening time touring the city, so the heat was not a major problem for us, but a "portable" AC unit in the center portion of the boat would be useful in these conditions.
- Judith (10/5): What a true Treasure to find such a lovely barge and with lovely helpful Sara to look after us - Fantastic property. All the beds were extremely comfy; the barge has a gorgeous sitting room and a lovely deck to spend a quiet evening on. Only a stone throw from busy roads and yet very quiet. It was so much better than anonymous hotel rooms. It was not something that I did not like but future customers need to be aware that there is no door on the rear bedroom. It made no difference at all to us and the front bedroom can be made very dark if visitors prefer that.
- Faye (10/5): A wonderful stay on an immaculate barge in beautiful St Katherine’s Dock - Such a quirky, fun alternative to a hotel. Ideal if you need two rooms and in a fabulous location Nothing
- Nathan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Reuben (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michaela (10/5): Exceptional - This barge is out of this world, just perfect.
- Zoe (9/5): Unique holiday accommodation in a peaceful location - Lovely old barge with all the facilities you need located a stone’s throw from Tower Bridge. The docks are great place to people watch and full of places to eat.
Very peaceful at night, you’d never know you were in the centre of a city.
- Call (10/5): Unique accommodation that was a perfect end to our trip - It was a very unique stay, and we had much more room on the barge than we thought we would have. It was an excellent location, and it was actually way more quiet than I anticipated given the location. We felt very safe and there were plenty of restaurant options nearby. There was really nothing we didn’t like. The shower is small, but you expect that on a boat, and the water pressure was great.
- Antonina (9/5): Fun and comfortable experience - We had a fantastic time. The kids (5 yo. and 9 yo.) were thrilled about living on the boat and pleased with their twin beds. The master bedroom was comfortable as well. The common area is incredibly cozy, and we especially enjoyed using the fireplace, which was set up for us to use.
The kitchen was very well-equipped with everything we needed, and the bathroom worked perfectly, although the sounds were amusing for us as first-time boat dwellers. We loved having breakfast on the deck while watching ducks swim around—it was such a fun experience!
- Francis (9/5): Calm at the center of London. - Location was perfect. Easy access to transportation, good restaurants, etc. At night is so quite you hardly know you are in the center of a huge city. Neighbors were kind and welcoming. Host was always available.
- Lisa (10/5): Wonderful stay for a get together with friends. - Completely stunning barge. The owners had decorated it all out for Christmas which was a wonderful touch. Plenty of space, very warm throughout, comfy beds. No negatives at all. This place is definitely on our list to return to at some point
- Aaron (7/5): Family trip to London.. great location, more interesting than a premier inn.. - Great location, friendly welcome and flexible with our check in and check out. The boat is a little tired and could do with some TLC.
- Neil (10/5): Whimsical comfort in the heart of the city - Oh I'm in love, what a beautiful place to stay in the heart of London, incredibly quiet considering where it is and yet also right at the heart of the action. Inside, it's super comfortable and well stocked with all the necessities for a great city break. Nothing - it was a proper perfect place to stay, can't wait to come back
- Jennifer (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (10/5): Fantastic - Everything was amazing
- Jason (9/5): Amazing location, comfortable lounge, nice cafes on the dock - what's not to love. - Amazing location.
Great way to spend a little less than an apartment would cost, and be in the heart of London.
You need to adjust your expectations - this is a barge, not a hotel... But if that's what you're expecting, it's nothing short of fantastic - washer & dryer are capacious and good, TV & subscriptions kept the kids entertained. Separate Cabins at either end means a family gets peace and quiet. the pump that runs to clear the shower tray water is just loud enough so you can't relax in the lounge if someone is showering.
- Lee (10/5): Great time had by all, would definitely stay again - Had a great time on the boat, lovely marina, nice outdoor seating area, the boat itself is very comfortable and location was great
- Ln (10/5): Unique, comfortable stay - Very comfortable, unique, and way nicer than the comparably priced apartments! Area was quiet at night and we had zero issues with temperature. Note there are short steep ladderlike steps to access most of the boat (no issues for us). Twin room is on the opposite side of the double room. Would definitely stay again! No negatives! Extremely minor point that the key could maybe be rethought to make it easier to get in and out.
- Andrew (10/5): Best value central London location ever - Super location, amazing property and perfect communication. Don’t hesitate in this one. Everything just perfect
