• Jonathan (10/5): Was a very good spot to stay to explore the city. - Location was ok, next to Alameda de Hercules with a good number of nice restaurants 3 minute walk away. The room and kitchen being in the same room wasn’t ideal for making early morning coffee when wife was still asleep. But the terrace is great and spacious to relax whilst she slept in! Bed great and furnishings nice. Also walking distance from the heart of the city Way too many diffusers, overpowering smell.

• Cihan132 (10/5): - The terraces offer a great place to relax all day long! The pictures can't explain it well enough. The studio itself is comfortable and easy to use including the check-in/check-out. The location is great; in a calm street, yet just a few steps from plenty of action.

• Ben (7/5): Great in so many ways - but...... - Great location and lovely deck and appearance of apartment. Good communication from owners. Locks were broken on arrival so was no able to be safely locked for a few days which was not ideal - but this was repaired. The apartment has a major problem with ventilation particularly in bathroom. This leaves it was a very strong and worrying moisture/mould odor. This needs to be urgently repaired and long term extractor fans installed. This really very much negatively impacted on the comfort of our stay. The apartment is great - but without this being resolved the apartment is very hard to live in, we had to leave window and doors open at all times and through the night. I would happily stay here again but only if this is fixed.

Has everything you need for a perfect vacation, including washing machine and dishwasher and everything that you have at home. It was super clean. Great location everything in walking distance. And a very nice welcome surprise from the owners which adds a final touch for score 10.

Fantastic location near to bars and amenities but still only 20 minutes from the Center of Seville. There were no click bait photos as everything that was said or shown was true. I would 100% stay there again. The fact the owner told you to give him a 10 out of 10 which is not good etiquette and almost confrontational.

• Euan (8/5): Perfect location for our visit to Seville; just off Alameda de Hercules with a good local vibe. - We hadn't received the information about the door entry before we arrived at the flat, but a friendly neighbour helped us contact the owner and he sorted us out. The location of the flat was great; just one street back from Alameda de Hercules which is about 25-30minutes walk to the historic centre. Lots of choice of bars and restaurants nearby. Our favourite tapas restaurant was Alcazar Andalusi & Tapas at Calle Peris Mencheta 21/22 (www.alcazarandalusitapas.com). Access to the rooftop apartmentment was via a lift from the ground floor to the second floor and then up an additional stair up to the private access to the flat. We breakfasted on the large sunny rooftop terrace and sat out for a while in the eventing before heading out to eat. The surrounding streets were very quiet so using the terrace and sleeping with the windows open was great. The apartment has air conditioning which was easy to control and kept the apartment comfortably cool at night. The daytime temperature was around 43-44 degrees when we were, so the aircon was definately required. The apartment was very clean and the double bed was comfortable. The bedlinen and towels were of good quality. A toaster would have been good, but we used the grill option in the oven. There was a good size fridge/freezer. The owner provided a big container of Nespresso coffee pods for us to use. The owner provided a good supply of clothes washing and dishwashing pods which was good and also provided a large roll of kitchen paper to use. There are plenty of nearby small shops to buy essentials for breakfast stuff, wine etc. The apartment was very secure with lockable steel grilles on all of the access doors. Everything was good.

• Pamela (4/5): Disappointed. Stay was over priced with poor conditions (dampness and bad smell) - The bed was comfy Dampness / mould on bathroom ceiling and on bathroom tiles. David from U.K. has commented on this in his review and provided photos. Unpleasant odour, particularly from the bathroom and dishwasher / kitchen sink area. There was a bad smell from the drain outside on the terrace. We had to move from this area which meant we missed out on the evening sun. In my opinion there isn’t a city view. The view mostly consisted of roof tops, satellite dishes, washing. In the distance you could see top of cathedral. The description of the property is not accurate as there is no front desk and the lift doesn’t take you all the way up. The layout of the kitchen was not functional. For example, if someone was cooking they had to move to let the other person access the fridge. There was no sink plug, washing up liquid or tea towel which was inconvenient when you wanted fresh cups for tea / coffee. Fair enough there was a dishwasher but you needed to wait for the cycle to finish. The quality of the glasses was poor given the charge of the stay. There was a bottle of water placed in fridge. Didn’t drink as it was tap water and we didn’t know how long it had been there. Supplying two bottles of bottled would have been a nicer touch. Initial communication was in Spanish and getting checkin information was problematic via booking.com which was concerning. However, we did gain access ok. On day of leaving the host emailed with checkout procedures. Within that email the host was asking to be given 10 out of 10 which I felt was rather off putting. Overall I was disappointed with the facilities in particular the dampness smell and seeing the black marks on ceiling was not good. The cost of the stay was way over priced in my opinion.
• David (3/5): Good location - shame about the drains - Location is central for all attractions, restaurants and shops Seville had a lot of rain prior to and during our 8-day stay, but the property clearly suffers from very bad drainage, resulting in an unbearable stench from the bathroom (the bath/shower, sink, bidet and WC), and also from the kitchen sink. The host was apologetic and twice brought a plumber onsite to fix the stink from the drains, and sprayed the rooms with air freshener but this gave only temporary relief. All around the bathroom are signs of mould and dampness. In addition - as noted by others - the apartment doesn't feel secure, with only flimsy snibs on main door and patio doors, albeit with iron gates on each. Altogether the property needs money spent on it. It feels worn out and like it's being maintained on the cheap. The host wants a 10-rating but this is a million miles off it as it stands today.

Bed and pillows excellent. Good to experience Spanish living quarters. Washing machine a bonus. Advertised by booking.com 24hr reception and tour desk bookings. It is self check in, no reception/front desk or tour bookings offered. Would not have booked this accom, false advertising .No tourist map supplied in penthouse to get bearings and location to attractions etc. There is a QR code link which is useless. Messaged host re tourist information and reply was maybe Alameda or QR code. . No full lift access, should say partial lift access in advertisement, again misleading information. Not ideal with suitcases. The apartment is musty and has a very smelly bathroom, Reed diffusers x 4 in apartment to try to disguise smells.

• Joanne (8/5): Lovely stay at a great property, shame about the construction work! - The apartment was in a lovely area of Seville with easy walking distance to a large selection of restaurants and bars. The main tourist attractions being only 20 minutes away. The apartment itself was very well equipped and was helpful to have a washing machine. Unfortunately our reason for booking this apartment was it's outdoor area. Due to construction work going on from 7am we were unable to use this area as we would have liked. Also check in stated it was at 2pm but it was 3pm before we were allowed access, which is only a small thing but could have been communicated better.
• Sharon (10/5): Great find, would definitely recommend. - Great location, really close to a lot of bars and restaurants but really quiet apartment so you cannot hear any noise. Good facilities and excellent private terrace for when you want to relax. There is a lift but you have a couple of flights of steps after the lift fine for me and my husband but may not be ideal for someone with mobility issues.

Sun terrace was amazing and very private. Transport links were also very good. A full size ironing board is required to iron modi dresses and trousers. The tiny board was difficult to use!

• Yvette (10/5): Spacious and comfortable apartment - We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was comfortable, very clean and had everything you would need. The rooftop terrace is spacious and gets the sun all day which was a real treat! It’s in a good location with some excellent restaurants and bars nearby.

Location a little away from centre but easily walkable & plenty of bars & restaurants in surrounding area. One of main reasons we booked was the outside space, which is good. Alas the building directly opposite the narrow street was undergoing renovation works, resulting in early morning noise & dust. If we has been made aware of works this would have effected our choice to stay here. Although the bed itself was fine, the bedding itself could have been better as my wife & I were both uncomfortably hot during the night, some good quality cotton sheets would be great.

• Elizabeth (9/5): Superb - The apartment was excellent and the outside space was perfect. You couldn’t lock the apartment when you went out. There was only a lock on the outermost gate. The lock on the door to the terrace was broken. None of the metal gates locked either. So we felt quite vulnerable.

It's about a 25 min walk to the main attractions of Seville. We walked everywhere but thete is abuse service approx 2 min walk from the apartment. The area, whilst not the prettiest, has plenty of places to eat and drink

• Barry (10/5): Fabulous Penthouse Apartment in the heart of the nightlife of the city. - Fabulous penthouse apartment with absolutely everything you need and more. High quality fixtures fitting and the bed was extremely comfortable. Great terrace too and despite being in the centre of things it was very quiet and peaceful. we highly recommend this place and will definitely be going back. could do with a safe in the room just for peace of mind.
