- Ayesha (9/5): Great location; great host - Great location. Had everything I needed. The host is lovely. Super responsive when in need and helped me out when the airline lost my bag and needed to arrange to deliver it. Really enjoyed my stay
- Marko (8/5): - Location and price Just minor things… nothing crucial.
I don’t need TV, so if you’re into TV-watching addiction, the flat is not for you.

- Pieter (4/5): Very disappointing with limited pictures and untruthful advertising at high cost - The location was the only good thing about the accommodation. But we checked and there are far nicer and more comfortable places for less money in the same area a week later Untruthful advertising. For instance a balcony was advertised and that was not there as the apartmet is in the basement which wasn't told beforehand; not advertised that you need to use stairs to get there, that you have to use a stepladder to crawl out the window to the patio to smoke. That you must mind your head going down the stairs if you are tall in order not to bump your head; that you need a stepladder to get into the shower, that the bed is very low to the ground and you need assistance to get up. A roof terrace was advertise and that was non-existing. The reezer was totally froze and it took us 4 hours to defrost it. When we told the host, his only response was, not to assist. to clean it, but instruction to make sure that we do not wet the floor and dry t properly when defrosting. We were also told that washing of clothes is not permittedas there was no plae to dry washing, nor the wet towels we used in the defrosting of the freezer. Not a place for elderly, less able and tall people, definitely not at the rate that was charged.

- Ciara (9/5): Lovely, convenient studio apartment - What a brilliant spot, and sweet little basement apartment!
It’s perfectly placed for all the shops and commercial areas nearby, as well as all the high end bars and restaurants, but you can also turn the other way and head up the hill towards the Acropolis and find all the more traditional Greek tavernas.
Only a 20 min (uphill ) walk to the Acropolis West entrance, so perfect for me.
The little studio apartment was cute and quite traditional in some aspects, but was perfectly clean and comfortable. Because it’s in the basement it seemed to stay very cool, naturally. I don’t like relying on air con all the time, so only needed to put it on for 15 mins here and there.
It’s also very close to Syntagma airport bus stop (X95) and metro station, so very convenient.
I’ll be back, for sure! As it was the basement, it didn’t get loads of daylight but I wasn’t spending much time there in the day, plus the benefit of feeling cool outweighed that negative.
In the vending I went up to the terrace on the roof of the building - which has an amazing view! But the stairs getting up and down are quite old and rusty: I also got locked out on the roof (someone else had been up there and closed the door, I couldn’t reopen it) so I had to descend the very rickety fire escape and find an open side door in the basement to re-enter the building. I got the feeling I was quite lucky otherwise I don’t know how I’d have got back on the building. Be warned!
- Kimberly (9/5): Great apartment in the middle of Plaka - Great location in the middle of Plaka, close to everything. Great for a short stay, it has all of the basic necessities. It can get a little bit loud in the evenings on the weekend, so just be aware if that’s a concern. No issues during the few days I was there. The bed was comfortable and communication with the host was easy.
- Shahieda (7/5): Good - Kitchen was well stock with plates and cutlery It was in the basement with no balcony as I've checked twice to see for this. Carrying luggage down the steps was not easy. Bathroom twice I nearly fell but my husband fell. This place is better suited for younger people see
- Schultz (7/5): Good -
- Tracey (8/5): Very good -
- Valentino (10/5): Exceptional - Very nice host and location.
- Miriam (9/5): In the heart of Athens - The Studio is really in the heart of Athens, for people who want to experience Plakka, Akropolis and dine and club, its perfect, also go to the Restaurant at the corner. The Studio owner is really responsive and respectful.
The Studio is in the semi basement which can be good in the Summer! It has a little plant filled patio.
You feel like a real Athens inhabitant there :)
Bus Stop and Metro are very close (for airport and ferry ride). Its a safe building and hood, I traveled alone, its totally good for single lady travellers. For myself it was just a bit "too much" in the middle of the bars and nightlife, but this is subjective. So I fully recommend it.
- Jack (8/5): Loannis was great help and a nice guy - the owner was fantastic
i asked if he could put a soda in the fridge as I was getting in late
got in way after midnight and he helped get me inside and had drinks there
all was good
- Helen (7/5): Good -
- Peh (8/5): Very good - The location is superb. The owner is very friendly and a few of the local restaurants recommended is really good
- David (8/5): Great value for money for a short stay in a prime location. - Great for a short stay in Athens. The property is old fashioned and well used but the apartment is a decent size, very clean and well equipped. And the location is brilliant for tourists. Overall, very good value for money. The apartment does not get natural light - the rooms are semi-basement: a window opens onto a view of the neighboring building's wall. There is enough room for a table and two chairs but I don't think these get and direct sunlight. This isn't really an issue if you're out and about most of the day.
- Matthew (10/5): Highly recommend! - Host is very hospitable and responsive. Great location and has everything you need.
- Valeriya (5/5): Well, not sure.. - Location, air-conditioning, fridge. Old basement screaming for investment.
Old bathroom with loud plumbing, no kettle to boil water or make some tea. Had to use a coffee machine for that (weird!), found an old moldy coffee filter inside, and had to wash the machine to use it-not a nice feeling.
Had to use my own roaming to contact the host to get a wifi password. This nfo should be next to a router.
Ants!
Old off-white towels have seen a better day.
Bed leans to a wall, not very comfortable to get off the bed for a person sleeping next to the wall.
The host seemed nice and accommodating but came with a ton of instructions on what to do or not to do in the flat.
- Kristine (10/5): Thank you so much for hosting me. I will definitely book again when I’m Athens. - The location was great! It was walking distance to everything. The host are super friendly and very helpful! The check in process is a breeze! I also like that the area seem safe. The apartment has everything you need for a short stay…shampoo, coffee, and a kitchen with a fridge and stove top to cook inside if you like. Nothing. It was perfect!
