• Ehab (4/5): Good but not worth the money - The house is nice and near the beach Not clean enough, bugs every where, no access from the car to the house , you have to go through the grass and if it is wet , you have to walk in small lakes of water.
• Sandra (1/5): Bad - Location This casita is unkept, dirty, has ants & geckos inside & filthy linens. There was a 4" spider & huge web between the parking and the front door. The owner pointed it out and cautioned us not to walk into it & then almost walked into it! In retrospect, why did he not sweep it away for his guests? The owner had all 3 fans on high upon our arrival and walk- through. We found out why after we paid cash for our stay. He only accepts cash. The bathroom & bedroom behind the bathroom stunk strongly of sewage during rain. The other bedroom had ants crawling over the mattress, headboard and mosquito netting. Power was unreliable. When power goes out, fans don't work. When fans don't work, the smell of sewage gets worse. The bedrooms are unbearably hot. The sheets & bedding are stained & stink. I was so grossed out by this place. When you are unhappy with this casita, don't expect to get any money back. It is WAY overpriced.
• Jon (10/5): Perfect Costa Rican Getaway – Beautiful, Relaxing, and Well-Located! - We had such an awesome stay at this bungalow in Manzanillo Beach! JP and Anjelika are amazing hosts—super responsive, helpful, and just really great people. The place itself has such a cool Costa Rican vibe, from the cozy decor to the lush garden that makes you feel like you’re in a little tropical oasis. It’s super comfortable, with two bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, and a great patio out front where we spent a lot of time just hanging out. The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and a supermarket, so everything is super convenient. Plus, the gated security and parking gave us extra peace of mind. If you’re looking for a spot that feels like a home away from home while still giving you that true Costa Rican experience, this is it. Highly recommend!
