Guest Reviews
- Alberto (9/5): -
- Mikael (10/5): Exceptional - Nice relaxed area with shops and many places to eat. Not as crowded as the city centre, but still not far to walk. Fantastic apartment and good communication with the host. A lot of people are passing by on the street at nights, but no heavy traffic.
- Tamsyn (9/5): Fabulous city stay - The apartment is beautiful and clean. The hosts are so helpful and accommodating. The facilities are great with everything you need. It's not a big issue but you are on a busy street which is great from getting around but can be noisy at night.
- Sudeshna (9/5): comfortable stay - comfortable apartment and good location. the fact that there is one set of keys and you need to use the key to even get out of the apartment. This made it difficult for people to leave at different times since someone would need to come down to open one door .
- Laarni (10/5): Beautiful Florence Gem - This was a high ceiling apartment, with an artistic touch of Tuscany decor.
Each room exceeded my expectations based on size and decor. The bathroom was gorgeous with tiled floors and walls, a large shower with a sink and a bidet. All were spotless and it was such a delight to shower in! Everything felt new!
We did not use the kitchen, but it was fully equipped with a fridge and utensils. It was highly organised based on appearance.
This place gave a beautiful Italian touch to my stay in Florence! It was definitely too big for just the two of us!
I highly recommend coming here via Taxi if possible and although it was a bit far from the station, it was close to all popular attractions such as the leather market, the food market and David.
I especially liked the pictures that were given with the check in instructions, clear and easy to follow. Unfortunately due to the location on a main street, it was incredibly noisy at night due to people talking not cars. If you thrive on the noise like myself, this is the place to be!
- Mona (10/5): You found the best place, stop looking and read. - This is it. Stop looking for another place in Florence. You found it. Huge rooms, new renovation, everything works. Best possible location. Walking distance to all tourist attractions.
Old building, you feel like in De Medici movie set when you enter the building. ELEVATOR, YES! My husband was fascinated with the impressive wrought iron gate at the entrance. Gorgeous. Old doors, very pretty, with modern and very safe locks. This is a safe place.
The kitchen has everything you need and more. The owner is amazing. We found coffee, juice, water, and even cookies waiting for us.
Rooms are huge, there was enough space for us and all our luggage, even if we had to put the suitcases directly on the floor.
Wi-fi was good.
Keep in mind that this property is in the ZTL (limited traffic area) and not accessible by car between 7:30 am and 8:00 pm. We parked at a public parking that was 10 min away by walk. The property has parking on site for 25 euro per night, we didn't use that because we didn't need the car while in the city.
We arranged with the owner to come with the car when restrictions were lifted, in the evening, we dropped off the suitcases, and did the same when we left.
New linens, towels, kitchen utensils, tableware, and appliances. Bathroom all perfect. Decor is a mix of old and new items. Is the kitchen floor old, original? I think I saw similar tiles in a museum?
Owners live in the same building, very easy to reach by phone ( everybody uses WhatsApp in Europe). They were very gracious hosts and answered all our questions and requests super fast. Adorable!
I would stay there again, and will recommend it to my friends without hesitation. Personal preference: I would have loved a more firm pillow, but I somehow managed. I know in Europe all pillows are very soft:(
- Florian (8/5): Very good - Its very closed to main attractions in Florence. It is 15 min walk from the train station. The owners are very kind and polite. A bit noisy in the evening.
- Leon (8/5): Comfortable and convenient - It was a very lovely property and very clean and well decorated, the host was very friendly, helpful and easy to contact as well. Nothing, only that there was a fee of €30 for extra bedding.
- Kel (10/5): Best apartment experience so far - Host: The host was very kind and responsive.
Supplies: The kitchen had everything I need like oil, salt, paper towels. The apartment had more than enough garbage bags and toilet rolls for my stay. I didn't have to spend money and time to buy all of these just to use a little bit and bin or leave them.
Location: It was close to either main attractions or bus stops that had buses that brought me there.
Shower: Despite using a hot water storage, it could hold enough hot water for one long shower. Location: It was too close to shops. I could still hear people singing or shouting at midnight.
Shower: Common to most apartments, once hot water runs out, it can take a few hours to have a full tank of hot water again. So... either enjoy a romantic shower for two or fight for the shower! Also, certain spots of the shower base leaks.
Insects: I became an insect hunter. I has killed countless mosquitos in the rooms and even one big cockroach in the hallway.
- Ivana (10/5): Exceptional - Exceptional location, beautifully furnished flat, high ceilings, attention to detail. Communication with the hosts - perfect. Felt like home.
