Guest Reviews
- Iuliia (7/5): Quite and peaceful stay - Quite neighborhood, directly located on the bus stop “Atlantic” limited amount of kitchen equipment
- Flurin (7/5): Modern & clean apartment in Saas Fee - Clean and modern apartment. Great for a Shorts stay, equipped with a solid kitchen.
Communication with host was great.
A bit far away from city center.
Can recommend it!
- Raphael (4/5): Cheap but not worth it: minimal basement bunker requires end cleaning. - Interior was alright. Plastic/faux-wood floor easy to clean. Bathroom modern with shower and small heated rack to dry clothes. Kitchen small but usable. The mattresses are relatively firm, not sloppy, which I find good. The check-in email incorrectly states that you must get off at the bus stop “Obere Wildli,” claiming it is in front of House Atlantic. However, you actually need to go one stop further to “Atlantic,” which is—logically—directly in front of the house.
The room is a basement unit; the window faces a concrete wall and light only enters through a shaft. We accepted this based on the photos and the low price, but we would not book this room again for several reasons:
The “digital fireplace” (meant to be the heater) turns off automatically after one minute.
The kitchen is nice, but the utensils are extremely minimal.
The blankets are very thin and too short. I am 176cm and my feet kept sticking out.
The kitchen has a freezer instead of a dishwasher. Who needs a freezer more than a dishwasher in a holiday location?
Most importantly: Just before checking out, we were shocked to read on an info sheet that we were expected to do the end cleaning ourselves. You are advised to fetch supplies from a cleaning room and even take out the trash. This requires buying special taxed garbage bags at a local store, where you have to buy a whole roll—making it very expensive for a short stay.
It might be cheap, but you are practically sleeping in a bunker that you have to clean yourself. Not recommended.
Manque d'entretien.
- Nadine (4/5): - Very clean and spacious. Self check-in easy and all clear. The heater didn't work. We were freezing. Also I thought there'll be toiletries such as shower gel. But there was none of it.
- Geoffroy (10/5): Parfait! - Calme et prix accessible Toute est ok
- Aaron (9/5): The place was extremely nice, comfortable, homey and easy to find! - The location was a bit far from the gondola but nothing you can't manage. The place was clean, easy to find, and very convenient for one person. The walk at the end of a day of skiing was a bit but nothing I would complain about.
- Ruby (9/5): -
- Arantxa (10/5): - The studio was perfect! Super clean, cozy and it had everything needed for my overnight stay.
The communication with the owners was also very fast and clear. I totally recommend it :)
- Anna (7/5): Good - Clean and plenty of room for a good price. Accommodated a very last minute booking The guest card was not provided for discounted cable cars and parking and the WiFi didn't work. This would put me off booking again as a more expensive accomodation would have ended up cheaper overall with sistaal card and cheap cable cars. It would be good if this was transparent when booking
- Benoit (7/5): Good - Nice, modern and well equiped studio, in a quiet area.
A mattress topper was added on the sofa bed and is therefore quite comfortable. The studio is located in the basement and is a bit humid and dark, but perfect for hotter days.
- Daniel (1/5): Das ist eine Touristenfalle! - It's the most horrible room I've ever had:
it's one floor below the ground. the windows on the pictures are just fake. it's just a light well!
This is not apparent from the description. This is also the reason that it's cold. The heater doesn't work and turns off after 1 minute. the bed is not a real bed but a sofa and is too narrow for 2 people. it has no bedside tables and no light. in the shower there is no shelf for soap and in the kitchen is no possibility to make real coffee. It is far to walk because there is no bus in the summer season. And there is no SaastalCard with this room. That's why the room ends up being an expensive failure!
- Alberto (8/5): cozy place for a short vacation - The Studio exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere, feeling incredibly cosy with its thoughtful design and comfortable furnishings. It is well equipped with all the necessary amenities to ensure a pleasant experience. Additionally, the owner goes above and beyond by providing such friendly support, always ready to assist guests and make their stay as enjoyable as possible. This personal touch truly enhances the overall experience and makes guests feel right at home. The electric fireplace was not working properly and shut down when it reached a certain temperature.
- Julia (9/5): Very cosy studio for a shortbreak in Saas Fee - Lovely and cosy modern studio, clean Basement, lack of view of something
- Gregor (9/5): Superb - Very practical, clean and modern The bed was not too comfy
- Kaveh (1/5): Terrible experience with the owner. Very slow and bad communication and overall arrangement. -
- Daniel (10/5): Exceptional -
- Felix (8/5): Very good - The bed sheets were really comfortable and since it's in the basement it was cold inside, which was a nice change from the heat outside. The communication with our host was terrible. When you stay in Saas-Fee for a night or more you are supposed to get the SaastalCard which grants you free use of gondolas and public transport. We asked the host for the cards via booking.com and WhatsApp and she said she would send them within half an hour. She never did, then stopped answering any messages, even though we sent her our personal information via both channels. This resulted in the two of us having to pay 64CHF more than we planned for the gondola.
- Sonia (7/5): Good if you only stay for the night, during the day you do outdoor activities. - There was a little equipped kitchen which was handy. It's in the basement so no view. Also, it's not a proper bed, only a sofa which opens to be a double bed. It wasn't bad but the 2 halves had different firmness/softness.
- Vladislav (8/5): Very good - It is very nice for someone who comes to go skiing or, in general, spends most of their time outdoors. It's equipped with all the essentials for a long and independent stay. It would be lovely if there were a ski-boots dryer.
- Miles (9/5): Superb -
- Nenad (8/5): Very good -
- Daniel-30 (8/5): Very good -
- Oksana (9/5): Superb -
- Mucki (6/5): Spacious and OK. Note that you may be walking your luggage up to the property if you are parking at the bottom of town. - The apartment is spacious, and it has access to a laundry facility. Beds were comfortable. The apartment is in a dark basement. If you don’t know where the light switch is, you’ll be using your phone to light up the door and get the key in. Unfortunately, they use an air freshener which made us just about joke. We had to put it in the closet and open the windows to try and get the smell out. There is a kitchen, but it is not well equipped. The property is near the top of the town and the bus drops you off at the bottom. We were told there was a bus but local said that that was not so so we ended up carrying all our luggage up the hill. We tried to contact the property all night, but received no answer till the next day when we left. Town itself is absolutely gorgeous and very worth a visit. good space for the money but you are in the basement staring at a blank wall. Airflow was a little bit. Pour a fan would’ve been nice.
- Mirjam (5/5): Passable - Everything in the room was very new and well functioning and the bed was fine. The room smelled a lot like smoke even though it had a no smoking sign. It made our stay not that comfortable.
- Michela (8/5): Very good -
