Guest Reviews
- Sara (10/5): -
- Stephen (9/5): Great location and wonderful terrace -
- Brian (8/5): A relaxing time with good food, wine with only downside watching England loose to Italy at rugby. - Location was excellent with the rooftop terrace, close to Campo di Fiori, Plaza Navona for great Pasta etc and easily walkable to many sites like Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Vatican City & Colosseum. Nothing really we would easily go back as it was our first visit to Rome with much more to do.

- paola (3/5): - Il terrazzo Scarsa pulizia.
- Raymond (9/5): Location. Rooftop. It is where you want to be. - Very cute apartment with an amazing rooftop terrace in a great neighborhood that was close to everything you want to see in Rome. Comfortable living spaces inside and out to relax and plan your days. Guide books and maps in the apartment to assist with the planning. Close to taxi stand. Host available by phone/WhatsApp. The stairs (96). We were aware that this would be something we would have to navigate. Was relieved to know there was an elevator (that fit 2 people only). It took us most of our stay to figure out how to operate it (our fault)...there is a key fob on the apartment keys that operates the elevator.
- Caroline (8/5): Always a pleasure to spend some days in Rome - Central location. Nice and spacious. Lovely roof terrace! Too many stairs. The lift is extremely slow and reaches the 2nd floor only
- Kai (7/5): Location great, appartement has potential to be much better - Location is great - centrally located in walking distance to many attracrions. Access is organized very well. Suoermarket close by, nice terrace with view of the city Could be cleaner, in shower tiles have many holes from previous fixtures, cupboards need updating, when you are taller you will hit your head ( i am 1.85 m) in the bedrooms
- Tanya (10/5): Great location and fabulous terrace. - Beautiful views!!! I loved the terrace, with great views of the surrounding area, really added to our stay. The apartment was great-and was located steps from campo dei fiori and piazza Navona. Definitely would stay here again.
- Sara (6/5): Pleasant -
- Robert (9/5): Superb -
- Andrew (10/5): I am so glad that I stayed at that location! It was so close to everything and very comfortable. - Location was amazing, everything was so close! The view from the rooftop was breathtaking. I felt like I had moved to Rome! Everything was perfect for me. I could see how if you were taller than 5'10" the bedroom ceiling height might be an issue.
- Jonathan (10/5): Will come again - Perfect location to visit the old center, done everything by foot - nothing is more than 30 min. Walk
- Karen (9/5): Superb - Roof top balcony Stairs to apartment
- Katherine (8/5): Excellent Location & Beautiful Terrace - The location cannot be better and the terrace is amazing. The wifi worked well. Hosts were responsive and easy to reach by WhatsApp. Easy self checkin. The kitchen, bathroom and shower were dated. The shower specifically needs some attention. The hot water heater didn't work one morning, which may be a recurrent issue. Luckily the host responded quickly and was able to talk me through how to fix it and the water became instantly hot again. We had to skip showers that morning as we had a tour to get to and the time spent troubleshooting didn't allow enough time for all of us to shower. Heads up: there is no dishwasher and guests need to hand wash dishes before checking out at 10am.
- Karen (10/5): Wonderful apartment with rooftop - Location was excellent Wish the bedroom ceilings were a little higher but we knew the height so not really surprised
- Joseph (8/5): Very accomodating owner. Great location! - It was located very close to shops and restaurants and within walking distance to many popular attractions. Very small lift. Could barely fit 1 person and 1 bag and it only stops at the 2nd floor. The apartment was another 2 flights up. Not good for families or people with limited mobility.
- Patrick (10/5): Amazing apartment in the heart of Rome! - Great host, clean property right in the heart of Campo Di Fiori The stairs, but that gave us an opportunity to get fit!
- Katie (8/5): Very good -
- Carrie (6/5): Nice location but we wouldn’t stay here again at this price and certainly not in summer. - The location. Rooftop terrace. The rooftop terrace was smaller than it looks in the photos and it’s furniture is tired. Needs a couple more umbrellas. There is no view from inside. Sleeping area ceilings and low. Several bumped heads. The weather was mostly too hot to spend much time. The tiny elevator only goes to the 2nd, not 4th (US 5th) floor and didn’t really work anyway. We weren’t told that a fob was needed. Host blamed 14th century building buy its not a 14th century elevator. Carried our bags up. We did get it to work once. The living space is very chopped up and the hall kitchen and a bathroom had to be closed off for the ac to work. The ac worked ok but there was a stern warning not to touch the thermostat so it was always too warm. The host charged a cleaning fee and still expected us to do dishes and carry down our trash. Check out time was 10:00 but she was waiting outside the door by 9:45. Creepy.
- Eva (9/5): Superb -
- Mario (10/5): Amazing - The location and the apartment are amazing.
- Matthew (10/5): Location, comfort and ease of check in and out was excellent. 100% would recommend -
- Akrivi (9/5): Superb - It was fully equipped. The location was excellent the apartment was very nice and the host polite The ceiling was very low . We hit our heads lot of times
- Cooper (9/5): Superb -
- Kate (10/5): We would only stay in this apartment if we visited Rome again as anything else would be disappointing. Kate from New Ze - Communication with the owner was excellent as was the location which was in such a gorgeous area of Rome full of restaurants. Walking distance to all the sites to see. The flat was rustic and cozy with the roof terrace being an added treat. Wifi and Netflix a bonus. There were no negatives.
- Sue (8/5): Great location, fabulous rooftop patio and very helpful and responsive host. - The location was great. The host was exceptionally responsive and check in details were very thorough. The rooftop courtyard was fabulous. The low roof beams in the bedrooms.
- Marianne (8/5): Lovely apartment with a beautiful rooftop terrace which was the highlight! -
- Bruce (10/5): An amazing apartment with own private rooftop courtyard. Very central and close to many landmarks. We really enjoyed - Amazing apartment with all that we needed. Nothing. Perfect
- Sherry (9/5): Superb - The location was perfect! The stairs were a little challenging with our luggage but we managed fine
- Anne (10/5): Exceptional - This apartment is wonderful. the location could not be better. Close to everything and yet on a quiet street. The space inside works really well and the rooftop terrace is an oasis. it was fabulous to start and end the day there, just relaxing in our own little piece of paradise. We love Rome and this was our best holiday yet. we will defo telly try to stay here on future trips. The hosts were very helpful and responded very quickly to any questions. can’t recommend it more highly.
- Swapnil (8/5): perfect location . great apartment. - nice location, clean apartment and comfortable bed. the host was really helpful and was easily reachable for any queries. lot of nice places to eat around the apartment. wish the lift reached all the way to the top floor.
- Rossana (8/5): Roman holiday - The apartment is centrally located; close to many attractions
The market is right down the street to buy fresh fruit & vegetables The many stairs as the elevator took too long to use.
The roof pitch in the bedroom only allowed a tall person to stand in the middle of the room
- Ian (7/5): Good - A well decorated, comfortable well located apartment with plenty of near by good restaurants. The outside terrace was a great place to relax. The apartment was clean and all kitchen utensils were of good quality and clean. Taxi drivers had no issues finding apartment. The following let down our stay: the 2nd bathroom is only a toilet/basin so there was only 1 shower for 4 people. There was only 1 electric socket in the kitchen that supplied power to either the kettle/microwave/coffee maker or toaster, couldn’t power more then 1 appliance. Nothing to do with the apartment but the elevator only worked to the 1st floor so we had to carry luggage up & down 3 floors. No teapot.
- Mary (9/5): Rooftop apartment that lives up to the hype - Proximity to the Campo dei Fiori-- just steps away. And that terrace. What a treat to eat breakfast out there and have a glass of wine on the swing before dinner at night while listening to the bells tolling at 7 pm. It's like a private getaway even being so close to Navona and the Pantheon, which were packed. Thanks to our hosts for the beer & wine in the fridge. The kitchen was well-equipped. Hair dyers in both bathrooms. And the stairs didn't really bother us. I thought they were going to be really narrow, but they're not. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. We hit our heads on the rafters a few times. You learn quickly to stay low. : )
- Kate (8/5): A hidden gem, well furnished and great location. - Clean, spacious, lots of seating areas, comfortable beds, two toilets, well equipped kitchen, wonderful roof terrace, great location. There were a lot of steps to reach the property but we knew this and it is totally worth it for the roof terrace!
- Brenda (9/5): A charming home for such a charming city. - The location was perfect! We were close to everything in Rome. The rooftop view was beautiful. The beds were comfortable. There was plenty of room for our family of three. We would have liked to see a few extra provisions such as hand soap in both bathrooms, a few extra towels to dry hands and dishes, etc. The low ceilings took a little getting used to, but they did not take away from the comfort of the rooms.
- Sherilyn (9/5): We loved it. Location is fantastic, rooftop is fantastic, comfy stay, just read carefully. - Great location! Rooftop patio is fantastic. having a small kitchen and small washing machine was nice. Comfortable floor-laid mattress beds. 1 1/2 bathrooms for 2 people is helpful. Very safe, you need FOUR keys to get in to apartment if elevator is used (street door, interior gate, magnetic elevator key, door key). We read info carefully and looked at pictures carefully so feel we knew what we were getting into. LOTS OF STEPS. Elevator only goes to 2nd floor, you’re going to 4th. There are many steps. If you don’t like that, don’t rent this. There is only one small shower, no bath tubs, not two showers. We knew that and it was fine for two people. There is a small washing machine but no dryer. You hang dry. it was fine, the machine does a good job of getting water out. Two beds, both are mattresses directly on the floor, as pictured. The sleeping areas are under the roof peaks and are very low. you will not be able to stand up straight unless you are about 5’5” tall or shorter. we knew that. The mattresses were comfortable and we managed to not bash our heads in the night. If you are a person who needs to go to the restroom at night and are not awake to do so, you will crack your head on a beam and this is not your place. One of the sleeping areas is open to the living room and you walk through this one to get to the one with the door. we knew this from the pictures, fine for us. if you need two bedrooms with privacy, this is not your place. In summary, we felt like the listing was very accurate if you read it and looked carefully at the pictures. It worked very well for us but it clearly would not work well for lots of other travelers, so read and look carefully.
- Denise (9/5): Wonderful location and a charming apartment. - Apartment is in a perfect location. Everything was very well organised and the apartment immaculately clean, terrace has wonderful views. An apartment with lots of charm. Not a negative, more a be aware. There is a small lift but it doesn't take you right to the top, still some stairs to climb with your suitcases. Didn't bother us but just to be aware for anyone not able to carry a case upstairs, or pack light.
- Jutta (10/5): Exceptional - Location top notch, great area with short walking distance to everywhere, including fantastic Trastevere. We loved everything about our "home in Rome". The terrace is wonderful and those rooftop views...to love <3
- Melissa (10/5): Exceptional - Great communication. Great location. Great stay!!!
- Marisol (10/5): Breathtaking terrace in Campo di fiori - The apartment was super clean and organized, exactly as pictured. The location is perfect, right on campo di fiori, close to all main attractions. The host provided clear instructions for self check-in with video and pictures, which I think all host should do. Checking in and out was a breeze! The AC worked wonderfully which was very nice during hot summer days in Rome. Hot water with great pressure. It’s a walk up apartment with a gorgeous terrace and breathtaking views. There is a new elevator under construction (coming soon). The host was very attentive and quick to respond. We loved this property and would love to go back! Highly recommended! 10/10 nothing.
