- Melissa (9/5): - Location was good to access public transport if needed, parking available at a reasonable price. The room could have also catered for our family if we had needed it as it had a second bedroom. The shower was very hit and miss, you had to turn on the hot tap almost all the way just to get any hot water and then it was hard to regulate a comfortable temperature
- Jeanine (8/5): Great little gem in CBD - Great location in a 2 minute walk to Barkly St/Acland St's restaurants and bars. Surprisingly quiet considering it's so central. The room is also nice and dark.
- Maralyn (9/5): Great value for money in an excellent location. - Great location. Good size room. Clean. Comfortable bed. N/a
- Mark (1/5): Did not stay due to abhorrent customer service - Nothing I booked this accommodation & paid for 2 nights in advance on Booking.com. Thatâs where anything good I have to say about MAC comes to an end. After a hectic day & flight into Melbourne. I found my self standing out front of the Accom. I called the number provided & there was no answer. I received a call from a Melbourne number & answered. Her name was Karolina. Undobtedly, the rudest & most vindictive example of poor customer service I have experienced anywhere. I how I could get into the property. Karolina proceeded to tell me that there would be a $200 bond & that she needed my credit card detail over the phone. Having paid in advance, I told her that I was a 60 yo professional & not prone to partying. I engaged her in a discussion & she promptly attempted to bully me with âare you going to provide me credit card details or notâ. I told her that I was but that she would do well to learn some common courtesy & customer service skills. I then tried to give her the credit card details but she continually insisted on talking over me. Challenging me as to when she had been rude. I told her that instead of cutting people off & trying to bully her agenda she would do well to learn some manners. She didnât like that at all. Again I tried to give her my credit card. She then told me that she would not be proceeding with checking me in đ. I asked if she was for real. As if being a nasty & vindictive person with the phone manner of a Pit Viper wasnât enough. Karolina wanted to engage in some pathetic attempt an inconveniencing me in order to demonstrate some type of situational control. Iâve stayed all over the world & have never experienced anything the like of this. Congratulations Karolina.Youâve demonstrated that youâre in control. Im now comfortable at Tolarno where I can highly recommend the courteous service from Steven at front of house. I actually saved money on my accommodation with no inconvenience whatsoever.

- Paula (8/5): Nice enough, we thought very expensive for what it was - Great position , easy walk to Acland street and The Palais Theatre Very noisy, you could hear people talking and laughing outside on the street plus in the building, people coming in at 4 oâclock in morning

- Louise (8/5): Excellent size rooms, with everything you need,âcomfortable beds and great location in St Kilda - The location was just behind St Kilda shops and easy access to the tram line. Also 10mins walk to St Kilda waterfront My only issue was as we were staying for 5 nights. BI requested another 2 towels for us which the provided, but no more additional hand towels or bathmats. It did say that stays up to 7 days the room would be serviced. I would have liked some more towels etc. also maybe some bathroom cleaning stuff as well.

- john (7/5): Comfortable and pleasant - Location Areas not clean
- Sharon Krake (10/5): Great weekend escape - Love the location, comfy bed and shopping at the end of the street. Great restaurants close by.
- Belinda (8/5): -
- Rosalie (9/5): - Close walk to venue I was attending I could hear I think perhaps busses stopping near by or something from maybe 5 to 6am but I am a light sleeper. Traffic doesn't bother me compared to people yelling outside etc. The last place I stayed about 5 to 10 minute walk away from here, you could hear people yelling and talking loud in court yards outside where they can smoke at all hours. Thankfully it was quieter here overall. I could still hear next door rooms of people talking a little, but it was mainly when they just returned from being out. I didn't hear anything through night.
- Bradley (1/5): - Location. And only the location. Room was not ready when we arrived at 2pm. We even got a reminder in the morning that check in was 2 pm. Room was filthy. There was food left on the curtain ,(yes , the curtain ) Toothpaste stains from all over bathroom cabinets. It took one wipe with a clean cloth and they came off. Carpet looked and felt like it have never been vacummed. Besides the bedding being changed from the previous occupants- we had to clean everything best we could to just make it look and smell slightly better. Just a very bad experience from begging to end.
- Fiona (10/5): -
- denise (8/5): - Great location, lots of good restaurants nearby
Handy to get to F1 We stayed in apartment 4 which looked onto carpark, not particularly private.
- melissa (7/5): -
- Mike (10/5): Ex location for concert at Palace Foresure - Great location N/a
- Allison (9/5): Excellent position easy access to the beach n shopping - Close to everything When we arrived at the property and entered the accommodation it was very hot noticed that the hot plates in the kitchen were on so maybe the cleaners need to be aware of this as I was there for work with a disabled client that could have burnt herself if she put her hand on it
- Caroline (8/5): - Quiet location, clean and comfortable
- Tess (8/5): -
- Sharyn (8/5): -
- Chani (9/5): -
- HELEN (8/5): Location is amazing, walk everywhere - New. Clean, what a location
- Kathryn (8/5): -
- Gum (10/5): Loved staying there and would definitely stay there again. - Location comfortable and well equipped.
- Jodee Shead (9/5): - Everything was great. We love staying here for places around st kilda. Except 2 cars were parked in the tow away zones in the car park area for the whole time we were there. One of them was close to blocking the pathway to the building. There were plenty of free parks for them to not park in the tow away zones. Visitors parking in the tow away zoned areas. One blocked the entry.
- Lutz (9/5): -
- Helene (10/5): -
- Cathie (7/5): - Very clean, great location, comfortable bed, good communication re access Extremely noisy sleep disturbing neighbours on the night I stayed. Just unlucky!
- Megan (8/5): Value for money - with a top notch location - The location is exceptional, with so much in a short walking distance.
The bed was comfortable and the room had everything for our short overnight stay.
Communication for check in was great with clear instructions, and accessing the room was easy. We stayed in the room closest to the entry door, front gate and footpath and the walls were pretty thin so it was fairly noisy.
The bathroom was clean but is fairly dated.
We also had a missing TV remote so that device was useless. It didn't bother us too much but may others.
Small things - overall it was a great stay for the price and the location makes up for any issues.
- Gabi (8/5): -
- Julie (8/5): -
- Christopher (10/5): - Great accommodation- location close to everything
- Jacqueline (10/5): -
- Angela (10/5): Loved this place. Such a great spot to explore St Kilda, walking distance to Fitzroy Street, Acland Street and the Palai - Great location and extremely comfortable bed!
- Melj86 (9/5): Blessed on Blessington - There was open communication with the host, with check in etc.
We arrived just after check in time, the parking was at the rear of property and secure.
We got to our room, it was a good size, clean, check in was easy.
Bathroom, well appointed and clean.
The kitchen has everything you need, microwave is a bonus in the room.
The big window was so nice, the day we arrived the windows were open and it was breezy and cool.
The bed! Oh the bed was one of the most comfiest beds we have had the pleasure of plopping ourselves on after our drive!
2 minute walk and you're at shops, cafes, bars and tram.
5 minute walk and you're at the beach, Luna park and the Palais theatre.
Everything for our stay was accessible, once the car was parked we walked everywhere, Nat told us of some great food places and markets etc.
Will definitely stay here again!! The driveway is steep and my car is lowered, Nat advised me to reverse out, my exhaust was millimetres from ground and I did not scrape.
Maybe a couple extra towels in the room, other than that, cannot fault this great place!
- Katie (9/5): -
- Nicole (8/5): - Location was fantastic, only a short walk or tram ride to everything The people above us were very noisy so it was difficult to hear the tv or go to sleep
- Stuart (8/5): - not applicable
- Lyn (8/5): Great location with easy access to public transport into Melbourne. - Breakfast not applicable.
Great online support for the booking. Car parking gates stayed open for a very long time after we entered car park and this could be a security problem at night.
A small box of tissues in the bathroom would have been good.
- Angel (9/5): Excellent location and very comfortable - Excellent location . So close to everything yet very quiet and secure. Comfortable bed and pillows .
