Guest Reviews
- Vygintis (8/5): Overall good! - The price is good for what you get. There is a place to park a car. The room is dark at night. Overall, the room is clean. It's small but suitable for a few nights' stay for a maximum of 2 people. While I personally am not sensitive to noise, individuals who are may find the road noise and slight movement of the door due to wind to be disruptive. Ill add the photo how i temporary fix the door movement.

- Tomasz (9/5): - Close to the road to Masca and the mountains. Kitchen was closed.
- Nina (8/5): - Letto comodo, terrazzo bellissimo.
- gerard (7/5): - Emplacement Pas possible d'utiliser l'extérieur car trop froid.

- Dobré vybavení pokoje a super terasa nic
- Simone (8/5): Nice & cosy - Sehr gemütlich eingerichtetes Mini-Apartment. Super Lage mitten im Ort. Leider gab es keine Kaffeemaschine o.ä. obwohl so beschrieben. Immerhin gab es aber einen Wasserkocher :-)
- Marina (9/5): Lovely stay at a lovely room with amazing views and conveniently close to Masca - Property was comfy and had pretty much everything we needed The host only sent the email with the keys lockbox details after we were already let in by what I assume was the neighbour. It would have been great to get this information well in advance.

- Luis (10/5): Great location in Santiago del Teide - Close location in town and the the bus stop. Great base for all the area hikes. Host was very accomadating with our luggage needs. Close quarteres for 2 but we made it work. Host was quick to communicate. No problem with key instructions. Balcony was a plus.

- Jessica (9/5): A good place to pause in Santiago - This is a good little self-contained space in quiet, calm Santiago. The room is small but well designed, modern and comfortable, and if you dont mind the noise of the cars passing below then it is a nice terrace for sitting and watching the dawn or sunset with a beer from the cage opposite.
- Hannah (7/5): - Very small room for 2 people, but fine for a night. Has a little fridge and some dishes. For 1 person it would be perfect. It has a very nice and big terrace, great for eating there. Definitely good deal for the price. Rather small rooms

- Elizabeth (2/5): Irresponsible owner and not a good place - Absolutely nothing First of all, when we arrived, nobody answered the door. I sent a message via Booking. No reply. In 30 min I tried to call. No answer. Finally called Booking help and the helped to get in touch with the owner. Turned out the key was in
Liked box, but the owner never sent instructions and code. When we finally get inside, the room was really tiny. No room for 2 small suitcases. Awful bed and shower and toilet tiny and uncomfortable. We barely slept a couple of hours and were happy to leave at 7 am
- Sergio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): A compact apartment very well located in Santiago del Teide - The apartment is very small, but it has everything you need for a short stay. The location is ideal for walking Masca gorge - a short walk to the bus or taxi, and when you finish in Los Gigantes and take the bus back, the stop is 20m away! There are parking bays just outside in the street if you have a car.. it has a lovely balcony with table and chairs. Because it is so small, it might be better to have less furniture. That would make more room for a suitcase or rucksack. There is no need for a chair inside. Also probably no need for the drawer unit either.
- Claudia (8/5): Very good -
- Barbora (7/5): Good - Very small, but cute and clean.
- Anna (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michele (3/5): Poor - It was clean but that was about the only positive of note. We were vastly disappointed with our stay.
The sauna was to be used with an extra charge of 10€/hour but the owners never got back to us, there was no communication at all not before, during or after the stay, we tried contacting them multiple times, no response.
The accomodation lacked the essentials, not even toilet paper was provided. The bed was not a proper bed but a quite worn out pull-out couch, super uncomfortable.
Since the house is right next to the road it was extremely loud during the night.
Cannot recommend.
- Sanja (10/5): Exceptional -
- Eni (10/5): perfect little apartment! the view from the terrace is amazing. everything was very clean and tidy! -
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional - Great room and location Very busy main road
- Alessio (8/5): Very good - Nice terrace with view.
Easy check-in. The room was cute but very small for two people and two luggages to handle.
- Chiara (8/5): Very good -
- Joanna (9/5): Superb - Very good starting point - to go to Masca or hike there. Cozy cafeteria around. The apartment is tiny but very functional - you have separate toilet, bathroom and double bed bedroom. Microwave and basic silverware are there. Netflix in TV, good internet. No access to kitchen, sauna is additionally paid and quite expensive, jacuzzi is free but water has its seasonal warm (cold in winter). It's very cold in the room due to mountain location, good if you warm yourself with air conditioner.
- Skye (8/5): Good. -
- Deborah (9/5): Thoughtfully set out balcony area with lovely mountain views. - The delightful, if quite small, apartment (Room 2) had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A warm welcome on arrival with information given about local bars and restaurants. The restaurant that was recommended was good. The town itself if not large, just a main street with traffic passing frequently. Our balcony was lovely - looking up towards Mount Teide and over towards other hills too. We thought that there was a great attention to detail all round with automatic lighting, a clothes airer outside and a sun shade if needed. Flowers in planters outside made the balcony area in room 2 a lovely place to sit and admire the view.
- Saumitra (9/5): Comfortable! - The manager of the property was very helpful in providing kitchenware upon request
- Joanna (10/5): Exceptional - Perfect for our requirements
- Vera (9/5): Superb -
- Hazelia (10/5): Exceptional - Clean and cosy room.
- Elvija (10/5): Excellent, lots of thanks ;) - Design, very comfortable to stay Everything was allright 😊
- Stuart (5/5): Disappointing with a salty coffee to start the day . As in all accom in Tenerife, the services are limited and generous - The view from the terrace The bed was slanted to the left so you fall out of it . The pillows were really old and not even real pillows because your head was on the cloth touching the bed !!! Real pillows are not even expensive ! Too many things in the tiny little room there is no room for your things . Salt and sugar in the same looking pot so when you wake up after a terrible nights sleep you can easily put salt in your sugar unless you do a taste test at 7 am !!! Normal people clearly mark salt and the sugar if they are in the same pots ! I was solo and it was not big enough, 2 people in there would not be fun at all
- Michael (9/5): Superb - The location was great as was the terrace. The room was cute and we really appreciated the ac as there was a heat wave on the island. The room was small for two people. A locker outside the room to put some of our things would have been useful
- Eva (7/5): Good - The room was nice and cozy but small. It is noisy at night as it is in main street. The janitor was nice and polite. The owner who I communicated with via WhatsApp was rude when asking for an invoice.
- Sapir (10/5): Exceptional - The room was beautiful! Felt like hotel , really comfortable. The jacuzzi was really fun and was totally worth the price ( that wasn't so expensive to what we got). Amazing view from the flat. Many hiking places and restaurants really close by. The door at the toilet didn't closed well
- David (8/5): Very good - it’s quiet a bit expensive for the size of the room
- Magdalena (6/5): Pleasant - Newly renovated specious apartment with nicely equipped kitchen. The apartment is partially underground, the bedroom has no windows. You can smell the damp air in the room and your clothes later. The moldy air was hard to handle for me personally.
- Coline (3/5): Expensive cabin on rooftop poorly isolated (mountain town). Expect same temp in than outside - Super cold place in wnter and must be hot in the summer. We didn't expect temperature in ths town to be that cold. We freezed in the cabin on the roof top without heater. I didn't notice heating was extra and costs 10€. which is a bit of scam considering it isn't extravagant to ask for a minimum of confort in the middst of winter. Expect same temperature inside than outside.
Also, the room is clean and freshly renovated, but the toilet's accordion plastic door does not shut and is about 50 cm from the bed.
- Toby (10/5): Exceptional -
- Leila (7/5): Good - The apartment was new and modern. The check in was really easy. The atmosphere was nice and the view from the terrace to Teide was really great. We misread the part about the kitchen and were very disappointed that it consisted only of a microwave and a fridge and it was not possible to cook. The door to the toilet couldn't be closed completely and we missed a hairdryer and a water boiler. Furthermore it was cold in the apartment.
- Jenniep (7/5): recently renovated apartment with modern facilities and friendly owner - The apartment was as shown in the photos and was a recent refurbishment/ adaptation. The room sizes were good and all amenities you could need for a week stay were there. There were a couple of extra things we asked for and these were provided very quickly. The owner is Hungarian and does not speak either English or Spanish - however this was not a problem as he used google translate very effectively and we could communicate well. He is very friendly. The weather turned quite cold while we were there and we needed the heating putting on - there was a 5 Euro a day charge for this. There was a roof terrace with chairs but we did not use this. This was the second week of a two week hiking holiday and although we had done hikes around Santiago del Teide before we had never stayed the night there before - we were surprised how cold it was at night - well I suppose it was January. The apartment also had a condensation problem - we noticed that the window was open when we arrived and we did close it as it was really quite cold. In the morning the windows were dripping with condensation - I am not sure what could be done to rectify this as the flat only had windows on one side and so it was difficult to get any through air flow. Perhaps a dehumidifier would rectify this.
- Eva (5/5): Passable - The man working in the hotel was very kind and tried to be as helpful as possible. The place was clean and there were apples prepared for us in the room which we appreciated after finishing the Santiago del Teide trail. The room was clean and quite nice (despite the size). We were disappointed, because there are pictures of jacuzzi and sauna at the website, but the jacuzzi was not on and we could not use it. We visited in January, which can be quite cold, and we were told that we can get the heating up in the room if we pay 5 euros. I find that very strange. The room was rather small and suitable for a sleepover but not for a longer stay and chill (it might be better in warmer weather when you can sit on the terrace though).
- Vincenzo (9/5): Superb - 100% recommended.
Thank you.
- Celia (9/5): Superb -
- I. (8/5): Good and close to the nicer parts of the island - Very compact room but well equipped. Terrace was nice and spacious. The village is cute and not excessively touristic like the south Smell from the shower drain and the indoor shared areas downstairs have a very strong cigarette smell
- R (9/5): Superb - Nice location, good design of small room, possibility to have party - sauna, yakuzzi, grill on terace - on demand, of course. Is recommended to have basics of Hungary there ;) room was cute, but for hard smokers...
- Giovanni (6/5): Pleasant - Very clean room and very well equipped. Coffee machine provided togheter with fresh water and towels. Sauna was available but we did not use it. There is a very cozy terrace just outside the door of the room.
Even if the host wasnt speaking any english or spanish he is really gentle and kind. He gave us the name of a super good restaurant close to the property. The room was super tiny. Unfortunately the host did not speak any spanish or english. Just hungarian. The heating was available only by paying 5 euro for one night even in late November.
During the night there was a weird sound coming from the outside non stop.
Also the door is not preventing air and light to come in.
- Rachel (9/5): Excellent - Everything was great, the hosts are awesome, the appartment is really nice and super well equipped, I didn't have to ask for anything. It would have been good to know that the apartment is located in the basement. Just know that there is not much sunlight because of this.
- Stefan (2/5): Very poor - Place was clean. We got an electric shock in the shower as the water boiler had a malfunction which put the showerhead under electric current. We got a different room once we figured out the potential deadliness of the shower.
In the room description it said the place had a sauna. Thats is true but we could Not use it as it was already wrapped an closed for winter. These told us it is broken.
There was an intlatable Mini whirlpool but the water has not been changed for a while an turned green. We decided not to use it
