• Dagmar (10/5): - Comfortable beds. Plenty of space for the family to spread out. Full kitchen and laundry. Natural setting. Walking distance to cafe and beach. Close to shops. We felt at home and had a lovely stay.

• Marie (10/5): Great father's day weekend - Exceptional Stay! We had a fantastic time at Julian’s property. The location was ideal, and the house itself was spacious and beautifully maintained. My daughter adored the tiny room in the backyard—it was such a fun little retreat for her. The BBQ area was another highlight where we all gathered and made great memories. Julian was incredibly kind and easy to communicate with, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommended—we’d love to stay again! We liked everything about our stay. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great during our visit, so we couldn’t make it to the beach.
• Hazel (8/5): overall. good stay. practical price and location. less than 10 mins from the hotsprings. - location and the layout of the property, very conducive for family with kids. the property could have used better cookware, pots and pans. there was an unusual smell in the detached sleeping quarter. not sure if it was the gray carpet. it smelt of a pet had slept in there.

• Christine (10/5): Spacious, clean, comfortable and value for money home close to the Hot Springs and the Beach! - The house was spacious enough for a couple of families even I was there with 2 friends. It was comfortable, warm, clean and had everything we needed. We only stayed one night to be close to the Hot Springs which was only a short drive away. Julian was a great host and quick to respond to messages. Loved everything about it.

Large comfortable sofa so if you’re in a group, no one needs to sit on the floor! Well appointed kitchen and outside area for the nicer weather. Great bedrooms and bunk beds for the kids! Extremely clean!

Friendly & prompt replies from Julian - the host from the time I booked & throughout our stay. We were even able to check in earlier & also have a later checkout too. I highly recommend this lovely home . Nothing.

• Michele (9/5): Spacious, clean, tidy and met all our wants and needs. Great property, great host. - We (all 8 adults) loved the property and our 2 night stay. Location was lovely (amongst the tea trees in a quiet suburban street). Living area was spacious, decking in backyard great for your BBQ's, coffee, wine time. Having 2 bathrooms was great, the front garden had great street appeal, with lots of secured parking for all our cars. Property was clean, tidy and had all the things you need/want, eg. towels, linen, cooking facilities, Netflix. Julian our host was very friendly, professional, accommodating and very quick to respond to any query. Would definitely recommend this property and would love to come back another time. Thanks for a very enjoyable stay. Nothing.

• Yi (10/5): Lovely getaway for a large family - The furnishings were cute. There was plenty of space in the common area for a large family. Quality shampoo and conditioner provided. Every room has access to central heating which is great. The front gate was a bit difficult to open at the start.

• Haneya (9/5): Very comfortable and well positioned in Rye. Feels like a real beach house. - Not far from the main strip in Rye. We could park our 3 cars easily. Everything we needed was available to use. Very clean house and bed sheets and pillowcases were freshly washed. The living area and outdoor decking were quite spacious too. Very handy having another shower and toilet in the laundry. The heating system we used at night ( in September) was very good. Whole house heated really well. Very quiet street. We slept really well. Our friendly host Julian always responded to any questions I had during our stay which gave us peace of mind. The description states “4 bedrooms” but the house only has 3 bedrooms. The other bedroom was actually outside in the bungalow. It was nicely set up though with a double bed and single on top. ( bunk bed).

• Esk04 (10/5): Everything you need for a great weekend away - It is a wonderful and spacious place to stay. The host is lovely and very responsive. Yummy treats left for us and a brilliant TV and warm showers. Would be great for large groups.

I think the fridge needs attention, our food wasn’t cold . Freezer was working fine Stove worked ok but oven was very slow . A little outdated but still did the job if you require cooking

• Vivienne (8/5): Great location, very tidy and would certainly return. - Great location as were playing at The Dunes the next day. Property was more than adequate for our needs. Whilst we had an issue with the heating on arrival was quickly sorted out and we were able to enjoy the cosy cottage. Only criticism was the cleanliness of some of the kitchen items and glasses.

Everyone well catered for including huge TV, beautiful outdoor bbq area n bungalow. Great milk bar coffee shop nearby, with lotsa organic produce and affordable slices n croissants too.
