La situación del apartamento es ideal, cerca de todo y las vistas al río desde la bonita terraza del apartamento, son inmejorables. Volveremos sin dudarlo.

• Beatriz (8/5): Buena ubicación y bonitas vistas - El piso està muy bien ubicado con unas bonitas vistas a la Puerta de Palmas. En general està bien con un gran salon/cocina y dos habitaciones con un baño en cada una. Además si viajas con coche tiene un garaje a pocos metros del piso. Se oía mucho el ruido de fuera y la zona de la terraza no estaba muy cuidada.

• RAFAEL (10/5): EXCEPCIONAL - Nos encanto la ubicación y el tener la plaza de parking al lado. Estuvimos solamente una noche, pero aprovechamos para visitar el centro y disfrutar de la gastronomía. y si te gusta correr puedes hacer trozo del trayecto de la Media Maratón de Badajoz corriendo por el lado del Rio Guadiana. Un Alojamiento perfecto por si vienes a correr la Maratón o la Media Maratón a Badajoz y también por si vienes a conocer la ciudad.

Pero perfecto para visitar el centro y la ciudad unos dias seguidos. Alojamiento espectacular. Como en casa estuvimos. Atendidos todo el tiempo por anfitrion.

Não é possível tomar banhos seguidos, estávamos em 4 pessoas e a segunda pessoa a tomar banho já terminava na água gelada.

• paloma (7/5): Apartamento agradable - Es confortable, no había ruido para ser el centro de ciudad, tiene aire acondicionado en cada estancia Que no figura en la información que tiene tres tramos de escalera, mi marido tiene problemas de rodilla y no puede subir bien las escaleras, le fue un poco complicado
• Laura (9/5): Con excepción de un par de detalles, el mejor! - La ubicación, las vistas, la amplitud del apartamento, las dos habitaciones cada una con su baño. Faltarian algunos insumos de cocina, como sal y un hervidor de agua. Por otra parte eramos cuatro personas, al ultimo en bañarse le tocó agua fria. Y no hubo forma de conectar calefaccion. Noviembre por la noche hace frio!

• Amanda (7/5): Lovely house but roof terrace is unusable. - Good location on the edge of the town. Spacious and clean, well equipped, comfortable beds. Very handy private parking close by. The roof terrace was in a bad state of repair and did not look anything like the photos which was really disappointing as we were looking forward to relaxing on it. An old broken sofa with a dirty cushion was all that was available. Dead plants and a small rickety table. The inside area of the roof terrace was also very tatty. All the washing from the previous guests was left in the dryer or hanging outside. When I messaged the owner to say that the house was lovely but we were very disappointed with the roof terrace she was less than helpful and said that it was not in use for the whole year and had suffered greatly from the rain and general lack of care from previous guests. The umbrella is taken down at the end of September and furniture is replaced in the Spring. It was still warm and sunny in October ??? I suggested that maybe this should be made clear in the listing but she said it is similar to hotel listings when they show facilities but they’re not available throughout the year. I explained that I thought it was slightly different as the terrace was a key feature of the property. Unfortunately she became quite rude and sarcastic after this and then she offered me a small discount then changed it to only on a future stay but only if I scored a 9 on the review. I replied that I would post an honest review as that is what I rely on from other guests. I then passed the issue on to b.com. From who I am still awaiting a resolution.

• isarina (9/5): Buena localización y con parking al lado - La ubicación, terraza y comodidad de tener parking. La cama era confortable
• Ro_4MB (9/5): Tenlo en cuenta si visitas Badajoz, la gran olvidada. - Situado en una de las puertas de entrada de la ciudad, tienes una bonita caminata hasta la alcazaba que bien puedes hacer entre calles o siguiendo el curso del río. El apartamento es amplio y está perfectamente amueblado para cubrir las necesidades de una corta o larga estancia. Las camas son cómodas y las habitaciones tienen el baño dentro, desde el salón a las habitaciones hay escaleras (2ºpiso), y desde las mismas a la terraza (3º piso) también hay escaleras. 1º piso, se accede desde la calle por unas escaleras, ahí está la entrada principal, salón amplio y cocina comedor (todo diáfano). 2º piso, del salón parten las escaleras y dos habitaciones con su correspondiente baño 3º piso, desde el rellano de las habitaciones parte la escalera a una terraza y una pequeña estancia con sofá cama. También es donde se ubica la zona de lavadora. La cocina con menaje suficiente para poder hacer alguna comida sencilla, pero si no es tu estilo, cerca hay diferentes bares y restaurantes que cubrirán tus necesidades. Además tienes una de las arterias principales de la ciudad muy cerca y ahí podrás encontrar desde supermercado a pequeñas tiendas de comida y otras cosas. Las vistas nocturnas son muy bonitas con la puerta iluminada y el puente al fondo. Además invita a un paseo por la noche a ese puente peatonal. Para aquellos que no lo aprecien en fotos, informar que es una vivienda dividida en tres pisos y con escaleras de uno a otro. No supone ningún problema si lo sabes con antelación, he dejado esquema en le comentario superior.

La limpieza estaba hecha solo por encima y necesita una pequeña vuelta mas general en todas las estancias. Tambien lo encontre muy justo de menaje. Siempre fregando a la fuerza , pues la cuberteria esta justa.

The garage parking was very helpful as there is no on street parking nearby. Beds were not comfortable. No kettle. Coffee machine was in bits in a cupboard.

Las escaleras de mármol muy sucias, con pelos y pelusas por todos lados...la azotea totalmente dejada y descuidada. Los cristales super sucios. Ventanales con telarañas. La dejadez en la limpieza y mantenimiento de la azotea. No tenía nada que ver con la foto que aparece en la reserva.

So you can sleep without the light or noise disturbing you. Amazing rooftop terrace with river views. Private garage with allocated parking space. Perfect location, safe and walking distance to everywhere ,10 minutes walk to Plaza Alta. Air con in all rooms. Great communication with the owner. A bit dated in some areas.

• Lopes (10/5): A dream house - The host is really helpful and friendly. The accommodation is wonderful. We have the entire building for us. Very clean, spacious, it has everything you can ask for and need for a great stay. Great location, just in the middle of a historical part of the city. The air conditioning worked very well and we really needed that, since it was really hot in thre city. The rooftop was a cherry on the top of the cake. We just love the city view at night from it. I strongly recommend this house and we will come back for sure :) Nothing. I just want to leave a suggestion: please, leave the mop in the house, so we can dry the water in the bathroom :)

The house is not so well maintained, with some humidity spots in bathrooms and bedrooms. Also, the material in bathrooms ceiling is not so good for health.

• Jose (10/5): A great place to stay in Badajoz. - The house was great: ample space, decorated in good taste, had everything we needed, comfortable furniture and a beautiful terrace on the roof with incredible views, day and night. The heated floors were wonderful. Great location, close to the city center but in a quiet area. The owners were very nice, making sure we had a pleasant stay. The stairs were a little steep for older people like me, carrying a heavy suitcase. Otherwise, it was great.

• Rucsandra (8/5): Very good - The location was perfect, within walking distance of Old Town and Alcazaba, with a direct view to Puerta de Palma. The house is incredible, even if we used it only for sleeping mainly, during the day we made trips to Portugal, Seville and surrounding cities. The host, Jesus, was very kind and helpful, he waited for us to collect the keys until 1 AM. He answered to all our questions and issues. He also provides a parking lot, which is a luxury in a town where is an adventure to find a parking lot. We had a problem with the heating that couldn't be solved during our stay, but we received a refund for this inconvenience. The host was simply amazing, there is nothing else to complsin about. The house is the perfect choice for a longer stay in sunny months - it has a terrace with a perfect view where one can even make bbq, sunbathing or simply enjoying the view. If I will ever come back to Badajoz, this will be my only choice for accomodation, it is absolutely amazing. The heating system had some issues and it was cold by night. The host tried to remedy it, but we had to shorten our stay because we were freezing. In his defence, the host offered us the refund of one night due to the situation. Once again, I emphasize that the attitude of the host was perfect, there is nothing else to complain about.

All kitchen stuff was dirty so it was straight to the watching machine. One of rooms was with ants all over meaning that we splet with company. Every day and night we tried to remove as many as possible but... Wifi doesn't work on rooftop.

Lovely smell pervading the property. The roof terrace was great. Appreciated coffee pods and condiments which were left for us to use. Issues with keys sticking, not fitting right...and two other very small points: blinds didn't shut or fully open and shower over bath didn't work(there was another shower which was great)

• Reviews (10/5): perfect penthouse apartment with it all- best place in badajoz for sure - everything, the location was incredible the best in town how to tell you how important the secure, garage car parking is this is basically no other option because the council has removed several areas that were previously for car parking so you either drive around the streets looking or have this amazing arrangement for parking your car , in our 5.5 week trip this was the only place with private car parking we loved it thankyou, then we get to the view the location, easy to find because you are behind the puerta palma towers one of the sights of the town so you will see the signs no matter what direction you enter badajoz, walking distance to several supermarkets and in full view of the river, 3 bridges including the amazing medievel bridge, the fort on the hill to the right of the terrace and a couple of squares with loads of people watching , a roundabout with fountain so exciting to see each day and restaurants below but no noise or food smells unreal place. now the apartment the best host communication could not be better or faster on whatsapp, 4 levels, loads of steps fyi , entry , plus lounge dining and kitchen then up again to 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and then up again to laundry, toilet room , outdoor shower, plus indoor sitting room plus the best and largest terrace you have ever seen, 180 degree views, we loved it every day, so 4 toilets, 3 showers , terrific kitchen , bath , full fridge and freezer , oven , coffee machine and kitchen essentials provided , regular servicing offered . fabulous heating so comfortable , underfloor heating and great beds. we truly felt like we had booked the best place in town, we travelled all over the region, easy acces to merida, trujillo, medellin and many more and elvas etc we would happily return, we had breakfast and dinner over looking the bridge and lights and cocktails on the rooftop terrace heaven we miss it already. we would love to see a kettle added to the kitchen equipment and some english tv channels for your international guest to relax in the evening
• Charles (9/5): Great apartment in very good location with views. - Fabulous location with a car parking space within a very nearby garage. Coincidentally the host met us as we approached the apartment. He guided us to the parking and then showed us around the apartment. There was a slight problem withe heating in the apartment but this was quickly resolved by the host and it was clear that it had not been his fault.
