• Sarah (7/5): A lovely little house in a great location with good transport links into London which could be perfect with a bit of tlc - The house was lovely and in a good location for public transport and amenities. It suited our requirements as somewhere to leave our stuff and sleep over a long weekend visit. It was very cold and no instructions were left for how to switch the heating on. However, the agents were very quick to respond to my email over a weekend to let me know how to switch it on. The beds weren’t very comfortable and the bedding, although clean, was very old and could do with being replaced. The bathroom also needs a good clean/redecoration as there’s a lot of mould, which was unexpected from the photos. We thought the house would benefit from a ‘welcome pack’ with instructions for using things in the house, such as the heating, tv, etc., and also give visitors a bit of information about the area (where things like the local bus stops, supermarkets, bars, cafes, etc. are). It would also make guests feel a bit more welcome after the huge list of rules and what not to do which were emailed before our stay.

• Lynn (8/5): Very nice small house in a good location for London and the Thames.clean and very well equipped for self catering nice - Great location for attractions and London. Enough space for a small family and very well equipped It smelt damp and the garden was a mess. Couldn’t get the heating in at first.
• Deana (7/5): Overall an enjoyable stay. - Great location for Chessington world of adventures and accessing London. Fully equipped kitchen. Easy to park on street. Some outdated food left in cupboards from previous stays.
• Jana (9/5): Superb - We really enjoyed our stay at Charming Period House. It is a typical house in this location, tastefully and practically furnished. We had everything we needed, no problems. The owners communicated very well and I would like to thank them for that.
• Sjoerd (9/5): Would do it again, love the quiet after a day in London - It was about 45 mins out of London Central, but the bus and train connection was very good! There's 2 pubs around the corner that serve good food and a coffeeshop around the corner as well! The bed cou;d've been wider, but that's our personal thing. Other then that, nothing!
• Katrina (8/5): Happy few days spent at this cosy house, handy for local shops, transport and places of interest. - The house was a great base for our short break, handy for both Chessington and Hampton Court Palace (we went by bus from the stop just at the end of the street). It had plenty of space and was well equipped with everything you'd need in the kitchen including a dishwasher. It was also really cosy and had a good shower, and it was great that there was a Tesco just 5 minutes away too. It took us a while to get logged into the wifi but managed once we found the password on the router rather than in the check-in email.

• Otilia (8/5): Besides the bad weather, we enjoyed our stay - It was clean, kitchen, lounge, bedrooms and bathroom The property had everything, from Kitchen utensils, washing machine, kettle, microwave dish washer etc, tv, WiFi, kitchen rolls, toilet paper, clean white towels, hot water, we just brought our food and toiletries only The property is close to the train station, close to the main road to take buses too First day we were cold , we didn’t know where to switch on the heaters, after i emailed them they told me what to do and the whole house was warm
