• Ismael (10/5): El alojamiento muy limpio y cómodo. Ir al centro es un paseo andando de unos 10 o 15 minutos. -
• nathalie (10/5): MAISON TROGLODYTE avec jolie et vaste terrasse proche du centre-ville - Logement très original, une maison troglodyte avec une très belle et vaste terrasse. Les échanges en amont de notre arrivée ont été très simples et instructifs via Whatsapp. Nous avons apprécié son emplacement qui nous a permis de visiter tout Guadix à pied du centre historique (plaza de la Constitucion) jusqu'au "barrio des cuevas" et ses miradors. La maison est est-elle même parfaite avec une cuisine très bien équipée et pourvue en café, thé, sel, sucre, huile, vinaigre etc... Cela permet de profiter des repas sur la magnifique terrasse joliment décorée de mozaïques. A 5 minutes à pied, un supermarché Mercadona pour faire ses petites courses. A noter que la literie est excellente et nous n'avons jamais aussi bien dormi. Des ondes particulières semblent émaner de cette "grotte" procurant une impression de cocon. Ou est-ce l'isolation phonique procurée par la roche... En bref, outre une expérience très originale, un séjour totalement immersif et satisfaisant :) Nada

• Inmaculada (10/5): Maravillosa estancia en casa cueva. - Todo. La ubicación, muy cerca del centro andando, la casa en sí, preciosa, limpia, las camas muy cómodas, la terraza amplia y perfecta…TODO. Un silencio y una relajación increíbles. La anfitriona, Marina, super amable, encantadora. Nos dejó salir más tarde por llevar un peque. No le falta detalle. Sin duda, con ganas de repetir. NADA. Todo perfecto.

• Luis (10/5): Casa cueva impecable en Guadix: anfitriona de 10 y ubicación perfecta para escapadas y montaña - Excelente casa cueva en Guadix. La anfitriona un 10, excelente comunicación y atención. Todo muy limpio, ordenado y bonito. Cogimos la casa ya que en 30 segundos estás en la N324 que va a Jerez del Marquesado y de ahí al parking del Refugio Postero Alto para realizar la ascensión al Picón de Jerez. En menos de 10min andando está uno en el centro de Guadix, una ciudad preciosa al igual que todo el entorno. Recomendamos este alojamiento 100%.

• Holger (8/5): Saubere Unterkunft in der man (besser nur zu zweit) mal das Wohnen in einer Höhle austesten kann. - Alles was wir zum Frühstück machen brauchten, war da. Sitzen auf der Terrasse möglich. Schöne mosaikverzierte Hauswände. Größter Supermarkt des Ortes in Laufentfernung. Unbedingt in der Umgebung von Guadix den Gorafe Nationalpark besuchen! Gastgeberin leider nie getroffen. Natürlich gibt es in einer Höhlenwohnung keine Fenster, aber das wäre viel länger als 2 Tage auch schwer auszuhalten gewesen. Bad war eher klein und ebenso die Dusche. Sitzbereich für den Abend eher ungemütlich. Wäre das Wetter nicht so schön gewesen um die Terrasse zu nutzen, wäre auch Frühstück selbst für 2 sehr beengt gewesen. Und Einrichtung ist halt Geschmacksache...

• José Ramón (10/5): Para noches de ensueño en Guadix - La Casa Cueva Los Mosaicos es un lugar encantador para pasar varias noches en Guadix. La casa en sí no puede ser más bonita, con una decoración muy bien pensada que da lugar a un conjunto precioso. Además, la temperatura es ideal como ocurre en las casas cueva: fresquita en verano y bastante bien aislada en invierno. La casa está completamente equipada, las camas son cómodas y los dueños son muy amables. Nada en especial.
• Astrid (8/5): Prima plek voor overnachting op doorreis - Complete inrichting, schoon en ruim genoeg, omdat het een grotwoning is weinig daglicht. Supermarkt op loopafstand. Omgeving niet heel geschikt om met de hond te wandelen, huisje was overigens wel hondvriendelijk, hondenbakjes stonden klaar.
• Jmorp (9/5): Buen sitio, buena estancia. - La casa estaba muy limpia y con todo lo necesario para pasar unos días. La situación era muy buena, cerca del centro, donde se podía ir a pie. Marina.....una persona excepcional que nos facilito todo lo necesario para pasar el fin de semana y recomendarnos por donde movernos y que visitar, asi como restaurantes donde ir y salir bien comidos. Volveré a repetir sin duda alguna. Todo estaba estupendo

• hein (10/5): Leuk verblijf in geweldige accommodatie - Heel apart met veeele mozaïeken ingelegd door vader van de eigenares. Geweldig terras. Alles was brandschoon. Ligt op 15 minuten lopen van het centrum. Eigenaresse is super vriendelijk. Haalde ons zelfs op van busstation toen taxi niet kwam. Het kussen was niet superhandig.

• Isabell (10/5): - Diese wunderschöne Höhle war ein Traum! Wir konnten sehr ruhige und entspannte Tage dort verbringen. Und hat es an nichts gefehlt. Mercadona war in 5 min zu Fuß erreichbar. Marina ist eine sehr sympathische und liebevolle Gastgeberin 🥰 sie hätte uns bei Fragen immer zur Verfügung gestanden wenn wir wollten, allerdings waren wir jetzt das 4. mal in Guadix und kannten uns aus. Schön war auch das es in der Höhle immer eine angenehme Temperatur war, da es ab Mittag echt heiß war. Es war alles mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und wirklich alles vorhanden was man brauchte. Ich kann diese tolle Höhle wärmstens empfehlen und es ist mal etwas anderes und außergewöhnliches ☺️20/10 🥰 Selbst wenn ich mich anstrenge fällt mir nichts ein 😁

That deserves a 10+ Aside from artistry of mosaic work the renovation of the cave is also amazing. Every physical detail was attended to We have been traveling for the past three months and I never met a host who did not try to speak a little English . She immediately said “no English no French no Italian and pushed the translator towards me. I always try and speak a little native language and being able to resort to a translator is very helpful, but her lack of even wanting to learn any English was very disconcerting. She is running an international business and she knows that English is the accepted common language in Europe. Arriving at the property the driveway was so steep the brand new car engine smoked and I couldn’t park on driveway. You have to start from a standstill as there is no room to get a “running start” I Had to let car cool for 1 hr. There are no stairs to climb steep driveway. Coming down was extremely perilous . Owners didn’t offer to help with carrying bags even though it was obvious we were experiencing difficulty. We are 2 retired ladies, and she and her husband offered no help. Owner was quite concerned I had not filled in paperwork online even though I showed her there were no messages from her even on WhatsApp . Again, her lack of English language made things worse. The electrical breaker was off for all appliances and outlets even though lights and dwelling were running. We had to find the breaker box and figure out what was going on. Toilet water would not stop running all night. we had to disconnect toilet water at night and reconnected in the morning. We would not return. It’s hard for me to write such a review as 99% of my reviews are 9–10 and very praiseworthy. I love to praise the hard work of hosts who are genuinely concerned with providing a beautiful experience. unfortunately,this host did not provide such an opportunity.

• Clarke (10/5): A unique and beautifully presented apart in historic Guadix. - Beautiful mosaics inside and outside of this unique apartment. It was spotlessly clean and had all the equipment and utensils that you could possibly need. Excellent heating in the cold winter night we spent there. The owners obviously put their guests first and it shows in the details that other rentals don’t provide. Marina was an excellent hostess, even though we didn’t meet! We have a large, heavy vehicle so the allocated parking on a steep slope wasn’t suitable (a smaller car would be fine). However, we did find another spot a few meters away so all good!

You can especially enjoy eating outdoors and enjoy the flowers. Parking can be difficult since the road to the site is a little run down. But you can overcome by parking in the level street below.

• Cindy (10/5): A Cave Home Tiled in Colorful Mosaics & Warm Hospitality to Match the Cozy 600 year old home - What a find! Such a unique & beautiful place with the nicest hosts, Marina & Sebastian, who have poured their heart into this amazing Mosaic Tiled Cave home! Actually, as Marina explained, it is her 80 plus year old father who has done the tediuous tile work! He completed the interior bedroom ceiling at age 80! I wanted to see an ancient Moorish Cave town in Spain, and when I foound this precious home on Booking.com, I decided to stay two nights! The home dates back 600 years, but it is modern & fresh with Marina's decorating touches & fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine. But note that there is no dryer, so leave time to hang dry your clothes. The home is clean & comfortable with two tv's with cable. But who is staying indoors to watch tv when there is this ancient town of Arab, Roman and Spanish influence to explore with a cave home community!? The town & this cave home is worth a side trip from Granada & may have been my most special part of traveling in Spain. The hosts are very involved with the local tourism community & are happy to offer advice on restaurants & sites to see. Turns out that a restaurant I had already planned to go to was their recommendation too. It's called Restaurante Vinoteca El Refugio in the gorgeous constitution plaza. Do not miss; the food & hospitality are equally five star. The entrance for Air BnB home has a steep driveway where you park and enter. Wear comfortable walking shoes. And the hosts will assist with bags if needed. I have added a photo to show.
• Anonymous (10/5): Great apartment with a new experience! - The Casa Cueva Los Mosaicos was a true experience. A very tidy apartment with all facilities, although still a traditional cave. It was wonderfully fresh also, despite the hot summer week outside.

For those liking to cook for themselves: the kitchen was fully functional and there was a Mercadona a few minutes away by foot. Paint flaking off in some places in the bathroom

Nothing.
